Hey, guys! I got the idea to write this while writing Destined, my other story. Enjoy Sally's revenge against Gabriel Ugliano… his final moments in this world.

Also: I need to say this. My writing schedule is hectic. I don't even have a schedule (that's how hectic it is) so you can't blame me if I write something and post it months after being active on FF. I have a life, you know. I don't write 24/7. Let me say it again, just one more time: don't give me any bad attitudes and flames, cause' I got a life, full of education and fun, friends and sad times. I'm not saying I've got a flame before, all my reviews have been very sweet and nice, thank you all for that. Still. I just want to put that out there before I get one.

The day Gabriel Ugliano was turned into stone was a happy one. Or, it was a happy one for Sally. Just not for Gabe or the Underworld. (Why the Underworld? Because no one loves Gabe.)

The moment he woke up, Gabe knew something was off. Why was a pit of dread building up in him? He had no idea. So he ignores the feeling (Who knew he had feelings…) and starts his day like any other; he stumbles across the apartment to the bathroom, but not to brush his teeth; oh, Lord, no! There's a reason his teeth are starting to fall out. The only thing he ever does to clean his mouth is use water to rinse it.

But back to the tale. He only went to the bathroom to wash his face and wake himself up. So he could be nice and ready to yell at Sally. Speaking of yelling…

"SALLY!" he bellowed, stepping into the hall, hoping the landlord isn't too disturbed by all the noise he makes.

"Yes?" she asks, stepping into the hall from the kitchen. She was wearing an apron over her clothes. Probably baking cookies.

"Is breakfast ready? Because I won't wait any longer than I have to." I said with an attitude.

She blinked. "Oh, um, of course! Everything's ready!" she said cheerfully. Maybe a bit too cheerfully.

I walked into the living room. "It better be. Now, bring the food already," I said, sitting down on the couch.

She poked her head out of the kitchen. "But, sweetie. You know you can't sit on the couch when you're eating," she protested.

I was furious. Someone was telling me what to do? And it was a woman, too. "Don't you dare tell me what I can and can do, woman." I said, standing up. "Or else, you know what I can do. Don't test me."

Her face turned into one of fury for a moment, then changed back into her regular blank face. She disappeared into the kitchen, then came back with the food. Eggs and pancakes, all blue. I was about to tell her to stop making food blue but stopped myself. Better to eat the food now instead of later, I thought.

"So… how is the food?" she asked me.

"Not good enough," I answered. Her face fell, then turned into a determined mask.

"Do you have any poker parties today? I could make some seven-layer dip," she suggested.

This wasn't like her at all, to suggest I have a poker party, seeing as she hated them. "Actually, I have a poker party with some of my buddies from work." I said, but she didn't need to know that these "buddies" were drunks from a bar.

"Oh? Well, that's good, then. You all can enjoy my food." she eagerly said. "How about I get everything ready?" she got up and hurried to the kitchen. Perfect timing to call the boys and tell them to come over. So what if I lied and didn't tell her there was no poker party?

Just as I was dialing, she appeared with a crate of beer and the poker cards. "Here you go, de-why are you dialing someone on the phone?" she asked, confused.

"That's none of your business. Now go get the dip." I said, irritated.

"I will, but did you not tell your friends you have a poker party?" she asked. Suddenly, it dawned on her. "You never even planned to have a poker party, did you? You lied to me?" she said.

I stared at her for a second. "Um…"

She gazed at the ground. "Wait for a moment before calling your buddies. I've got something for you," she said stumbling into the hallway.

I was confused. What in the world could she give me? I thought as she came back with a big, brown box in her hands. "I… um, I have this for you. Make sure you're holding some poker cards when you look into the box," she said, giving me some cards and stuffing them into one of my hands. She held the box upright and closed her eyes while opening the box. She faced the opening of the box away from us and took a deep breath.

"Sally, what in the world are you trying to do?" I asked, shocked into being nice.

She smiled shakily at me, her face ashen white. "Just look, okay?" she whispered barely loud enough for me to hear. Then she turned the box at me.

My eyes popped wide open. But that was all I could manage to change about my expression because everything else felt frozen. In fact, my whole body was frozen. I felt like stone.

The thing in the box was the head of a horrendous woman with dead snakes as hair, green-tinged skin, and stone-cold eyes. Could it be… could I be seeing the one and only Medusa? The one from the myths?

Sally moved her face into my sight. 'I'm not sorry, Gabe.' she mouthed, then smiled sadly.
