I didn't think coming home would make this much difference. Sure, I was relieved not to have to worry about being shot at or blown up. The food is good, there's always hot water, and I have walls instead of a tent. But I was an Army nurse in Korea, and I went right on being an Army nurse in the States.

Except somewhere along the way, that MASH unit became home. Not because of the place, because of the people. A dozen times a day I'm sure I see Colonel Potter, or BJ, Klinger, Kellye.

Hawkeye.

And I'm homesick.
