Mira had known for far too long who her soulmates were and both of them were idiots. Yet she couldn't help but love them. Sure she said a silent plead to the universe that they would come back safe and sound, only for them both to come back with bandages decorating their bodies. But they would give everything to protect those they love. Usually, she could hold herself back, just give them a couple of friendly reminders to stay safe, but as she watched Erza, one of her loves step in front of a cannon, she let out a scream.

"Erza!" She rushes toward her, but Cana catches her. Mira watches as the armor slowly begins to evaporate, and the shield begins to crack. Her heart feels as if it is shattering inside her chest as the shield breaks. Mira was going to lose her soulmate without her knowing. Without getting to have a relationship, not being able to kiss, or even tell her how much she loved her. But to her great relief, the cannon stops. Erza flies backward, lands on the ground, and despite Cana releasing her grip on Mira she can't move. Was Erza dead? Was she okay? Why can't she move? Tears pouring down her face as she stands frozen silently chanting

'Please don't be dead.' But it is Natsu who dashes to Erza's side. Natsu, her other soulmate, was much easier to read than Erza. All his emotions play out on his face, and she could see the sorrow, concern, and heartbreak. It hits Mira that minute, that second, that he loved Erza as much as she did, and maybe he wasn't just her soulmate, but Erza's as well. Maybe they were all each other's soulmates. His screams are what breaks her out of her thoughts.

"Erza! Are you okay?? Say something!" His voice is loud, pleading, and towards the end cracked. Mira lets out a sigh of relief as she watches as Natsu pulls Erza to her feet. Then Master Jose voice fills the air

"Surrender Lucy Heartfilla immediately. You have no choice." Mira watches as Erza and Natsu's eyes flash with fire. In their eyes were wildfires that couldn't be contained.

"We would never betray her like that! You'd have to kill us first!" Erza screams her words fueling her other guild members.

"Stop asking cause the answer is never going to change!" Natsu adds on.

"If that's what you want, I'll give you a second helping of Jupiter! You have 15 minutes." Master Jose screams as Mira makes her way over to Erza and supports her on the other side. Looking over at Natsu whose hands were squeezed into fists, and his eyes shooting daggers at the canon.

"I got her, you go on." Mira states and Natsu smiles.

"Be careful please," Mira whispers almost inaudibly.

Natsu looks at her for a second and gives her a thumbs up.

"I'm all fired up!! Let's go Happy!" Natsu shouts as he begins running.

"Aye, sir!" And with that Happy wasn't far behind. Mira also grabbed Lucy's hand as she began helping Erza walk back to the underground guildhall.

"Mira, I can walk on my own," Erza says, and Mira sighs.

"I'm sure you can but you'll just put further strain on yourself. I don't mind helping." Mira says firmly. Erza just nods, her usual stubbornness was shut down by her exhaustion. They make their way back to the makeshift guild, and Mira lays Erza on the table. Taking a deep breath Mira shoots a bubble-like bullet that causes Erza to fall asleep. Erza had no bleeding injuries or open wounds so she wouldn't need to patch her wounds. But as she watches over Erza and Lucy who has been off and on sobbing. For a minute Mira stares out the window, watching her comrades fight, then she looks back at Erza. Deciding there what she'd do, Mira looks over at Reedus and nods towards the other room. He nods and Mira makes her way over there.

"We need to get Lucy somewhere safe. I'm going to need you to make a vehicle and I'll put her to sleep. I'll also need you to protect her. Does that sound okay?" Mira whispers and Reedus nods.

"Oui," Reedus responds.

"Alright, let's meet up in five minutes." With that Mira makes her way back into the small room where she takes a deep breath, then sits next to Lucy.

"This is my fault." Lucy whispers and Mira shakes her head.

"No, it isn't. We've had a feud with this guild for long before you came, and it could have been anything that tipped them over." Mira replies. Not to mention something seemed off about the whole thing. Why would Master Jose Do all this just for Lucy? What is the Magic Council for involved there would be hell to pay? Maybe he was just crazy but maybe there was something else. They sat there in silence for a minute or two. Then suddenly Lucy rose to her feet.

"I'm going to give myself up. I can't have him hurting you guys again." Mira felt herself smile.

'You'll fit in here just fine.' She thinks as she blew her bubble bullet. She catches Lucy before she hit the floor, then carries her to Reedus's carriage. Putting her in it, she smiles at Reedus. He drives off and Mira takes a deep breath.

'It's my turn to help.' She thinks as walks into the battlefield. She can hardly believe her eyes. They turned the cannon into a giant that beginning to cast Abyss Break. She looks around at all her guild members than for a second stops in her tracks. Where was Elfman? He wouldn't have run away from the battlefield. Mira feels her eyes grow as she looks over at Cana.

"Where is Elfman?" She asks.

"He went up with Gray," Cana replies.

"Elfman! But why?"

"What's the big deal? He wanted to go."

"It's just too dangerous."

"What do you mean Elfman is one of our best members here."

"I don't know if he could handle it."

"Yeah but I think this is him trying to leave behind the past, to move forward. Let him do it." Cana states firmly then push her focus back on fighting. Mira squeezes her eyes shut for a minute.

'Elfman fighting, leaving the past.' An image of Lisanna smiling flashes in her mind. Mira steels herself as she makes her way to the front of the pack.

"I'll surrender if you stop attacking our guild!" Mira screams, and a few seconds later she hears a laugh.

"You'd think we'd fall for that?" Jose's voice rings as a green magic circle appears underneath her. Mira lets out a scream as she is teleported into a crack between two parts of the giant. Mira struggles to break free for a couple of minutes when suddenly the wall to one of the giants breaks open. Standing there almost stone is Elfman.

"Mira!" He screams. Tears race down her face as she watches the green-haired man taunt her brother and soon Elfman is glowing yellow.

"Elfman no!!!" Mira screams but it's too late. Elfman's eyes shine with a purple glow. Mira screams again as she fights to get free. Elfman jumps in front of her.

"Elfman, can you hear me?" The beast doesn't say a word just pulls her out of the giant.

"I'm sorry Mira." He whispers as he transforms back to himself. "I killed my little sister." He continues and Mira hugs him.

"Your big sister is still alive."

"Mira"

"We said we'd live our lives for her… forever."

"Big sis! I'm glad you're okay!!" Elfman sobs. For a moment they stand there embraced, then Elfman looks at Mira with a smile. For a minute the words 'live for her' dance in Mira's mind. She was living yes, but she loved in fear. Fear of those she loved leaving her. In that fear, she had never told them, but the pain of them dying would hurt just as much if they were dating or she still pining. Mira glances back towards the giant and realizes that it has slowed quite a bit. Elfman had just defeated one of the element four, is that why it was going slower?

"How many of the Element 4 left?" Mira questions.

"Two."

"Which means that the power of the giant is controlled by the Element four!" Mira exclaims.

They spend what feels like an eternity upon the giant. But suddenly a scream rips through the air and Mira feels her heart drop into her stomach. Natsu. The scream seems more like a power-up scream than anything else but it still scares her. After fighting Totomaru, he's going to fight again. She looks over at Gray and Elfman.

"Let's go find that idiot," Gray says and she nods. They walk through the ruined giant then they stumble upon Erza who is leaning against a pillar.

"Erza! What are you doing here!? You're in no shape to be fighting." Mira lectures as she rushes over to her. As she rushes over Mira notes that Aria is knocked out.

"What were you thinking fighting him?!" Mira exclaims and Erza looks up at her. She is covered in bruises. Mira lets out a choked sob.

"Mira...I'm sorry I didn't mean for anyone to see me in such a wretched state." Erza states. Mira was just about to go into another rant when a wave of evil fell upon her. The feeling makes a wave of nausea hit her.

"What is that?" Gray asked.

"I'm manly but it gives me shivers," Elfman admits.

"Whatever it is, it's pure evil," Mira explains. Then there is clapping. They all turn to see Master Jose with a purple aura.

"My how keen you all are. Very impressive Fairy Tail wizards. I thought this would be fun, but never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be this entertaining. You annihilated my Jupiter cannon, took out all the elemental four, and you even managed to bring my giant to its knees." He says.

"Master Jose!" Erza exclaims.

"This creep," Elfman says

"Is Phantom Lord Master?" Gray finished.

'There is a purple cloud around him, being this close makes me feel nauseous.' Mira thinks as she covers her mouth. How were they going to beat him?

"Thank you, you've been so kind to entertain me. Now I must return the favor." With those words, Elfman and Gray get in a fight stance. They both launch their attacks.

"No stop!" Erza yells but it's too late. Master Jose casts a spell that rips through them.

"Elfman! Gray!" Mira shouts. As Erza gets to her feet, Master Jose sends a spell that causes Mira to go flying. By the time Mira opens her eyes it isn't Erza who is now fighting Jose, but Master Makarov. She looks around to Erza on her feet next to her smiling.

"I'm glad to see that you're okay," Erza says and Mira lets out a laugh.

"You should be worried about me when you're the one testing fate." Erza chuckles, and smiles.

"I'm always going to be worried about you." The words caused an explosion of butterflies in her stomach and as she was about to respond, but Master Makarov shouts.

"Fairy Law is invoked!" And the bell chimes. With that one shot, Master Jose crumbles. Then Master Makarov makes his way to the ledge and with a smile, he shouts

"The battle of the guilds is over." Mira smiles, then looks over at Erza.

"Can we talk later? After we close up the guild basement for the day? We can meet outside the guild?" Mira asks and Erza nods. With that she couldn't back out, just had to find Natsu. It didn't take long, she found him lying on the edge of the ruined giant.

"Natsu! Are you okay?" She exclaims and Natsu looks at her with one of his big smiles that makes her heart flutter. She pulls him to his feet.

"C'mon let's get you patched up." She helps Natsu make his way back to the guild and as she patches him up she takes a deep breath.

"After we close up for the night. I want to talk to you and Erza. Will you meet up outside the guild?" Mira asks, and Natsu nods.
