Hey guys! I'm super excited to start this story. I even drew the cover. I hope you guys like this one. It will be a little different than my previous three. Have a nice day! :)

Pridelands - 2015 - The Palace

"I KILLED MUFASA!" Azra heard her father shout. She zoned out. No. It can't be! Azra's head screamed. She ran out of the palace, tears burning in her eyes. How could he do this?! This means I'm the daughter of a murderer! Azra thought as she ran. The same man she called 'Dad', the same man that raised her, and the same man that she trusted had deceived her. He had deceived everyone.

One of Scar's soldiers approached her and drew his gun but Azra kicked it out of his hands and punched him in the jaw, knocking him out. Azra ran outside and hid behind some bushes. She watched the battle unfold in front of her with wide open eyes. She had originally planned to fight but now her spirit was crushed.

After a few minutes, Azra heard noises coming from the roof and looked up. She saw her father lunge at Simba and Simba kick him in the stomach. Azra heard Scar scream and watched him fall off the building. He landed right in front of her and after a moment he sat up.

Azra could see Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed approaching along with a group of Scar's soldiers. "Ah, my friends..." Scar started. "Friends? I thought you said we were the enemy." Shenzi sneered. The soldiers started to close in on Scar. "N-no! L-Let me explain!" Scar stammered. The soldiers got closer and closer and Shenzi drew her knife. Azra cringed.

She watched in horror as the thugs practically mauled her father. She was to stunned to scream, cry, or make any noise. Azra got a hold of herself and pulled out her 9mm pistol. She fired a shot in the air and glared at the thugs. They got scared and ran away. They knew not to mess with Azra.

Azra knelt beside her father. "Daddy..." she said, tears in her eyes. Scar grunted. "Azra...I'm sorry...I love you." he managed to say before he died. Azra heard footsteps and hid behind the bushes again. "Honey? Oh my God, what has he done to you?" a voice exclaimed. Azra knew it had to be her mother, Zira.

Zira knelt down beside her husband and cried for a little bit. Soon a small group of her followers gathered around her. Zira's cousin Kira held Kovu and Vitani. Nuka got down beside Zira and cried over his father with her. Zira got a grip on herself and stood up.

At that moment, Simba appeared. Followed by Nala, Sarabi, Sarafina, and Zazu. "What is going on here?" Simba asked loudly. Zira turned to him, furious. "You! You murderer!" she screamed. Simba jumped back. "Who is she?" he whispered to Nala. "That's Scar's wife, Zira." Nala told him. "You're not the king! My son Kovu was Scar's heir!" Zira yelled.

"Scar was never our king! He murdered Mufasa!" Sarabi shouted. "Well, he still killed my husband!" Zira shouted back and pointed at Simba. She drew a huge knife and lunged at Simba. "No!" Azra shouted and jumped in front of Simba. She kicked the knife out of Zira's hand.

"Azra! Get out of the way! This man has just killed your father!" Zira yelled at her. "No he didn't! Those thugs killed him!" Azra yelled back. "Simba has no right to be here! So move!" Zira barked. "Simba is the rightful king, Mother!" Azra defended Simba. "Azra is right, Zira. It's best you move on now." Sarafina said calmly. "I'll never move on!" Zira screamed.

"Then if that's the case, I exile you and all who follow you to the Outlands military camp. That should do. It's been abandoned for years. You have one hour to pack your things and get out. Now go." Simba growled. "Fine. Let's go." Zira said to her followers. They turned to leave but Zira stopped when Azra didn't follow. "Azra! Come on!" Zira spat.

"No. She's staying." Nala said firmly. "She is my daughter and she will do what I tell her!" Zira snarled. "You lay a hand on her and I'll shoot you." Sarabi threatened as Sarafina stepped in front of Azra. "Fine! Stay here then! I don't give a damn about you anyway!" Zira shouted and stormed away with her children and her followers. The words hurt Azra a bit but she stood firm.

Simba turned to Nala. "What was that about? She's Scar's daughter for crying out loud." Simba said, confused. "Azra's my best friend and she was against Scar the whole time. She helped me escape so I could come find you. She's trustworthy and she saved your life. Plus she's your cousin." Nala pointed out. Simba sighed. "Okay. If you say so."

Sarabi and Sarafina turned to Azra. "Honey, the old house your parents had before they moved into the palace is yours now." Sarabi told Azra. "I'm not even 18 yet." Azra pointed out. "We'll take care of that." Sarafina assured her. Simba walked over to Azra. "Thank you for saving my life. Azra, right?" he asked. Azra nodded.

"I'm so sorry for everything, Simba. I was only four when my father took over but growing up I knew something was wrong." Azra apologized. "Nala told me about how you helped her. You're very brave. I like that." Simba said with a smile. "I just do what I have to." Azra said and shrugged. She bumped into her father's body.

"Um, I'll take care of this by tomorrow and I'll move all the stuff out of the palace too." Azra said awkwardly. Simba nodded. He, Nala, and Zazu walked back inside the palace. "Don't worry about doing this by yourself. We'll help you out." Sarafina said. Azra bent down and emptied out all of Scar's pockets.

They contained his pistol (that he stupidly didn't use in the fight with Simba), his wallet, and his pocket knife. Azra put the objects in her pocket and stood up. She walked back inside with Sarabi and Sarafina.
