Summary: [Pre-Calamity] A legendary hero with the weight of a sword capable of sealing the darkness. A sacred princess that struggles in finding a way to unlock her divine powers. While the myth ties them together to overcome the Calamity and save their kingdom, Link and Zelda don't honor the bond necessary to succeed. As appointed knight and blessed heiress, both will have to learn how to stand side by side in order to defeat Ganon.

Author's note: I feel like it has been years since I last updated in Fanfiction. To sum up, my name is Stella and this is my first time in the Legend of Zelda fandom. I fell in love with this franchise after a university friend lent me his Nintendo Switch account to play. And, of course, I couldn't resist shipping the main characters together. I have been silently reading FF for some weeks to observe the fandom and check how popular some headcanons are.
I would like to clarify that I like writing about the characters and events as canon as possible. Believe me when I tell you that I will make my best effort to write about Link, Zelda, and Hyrule with as much fidelity to the canon as possible. However, this won't be a narrated version of the memories we have already seen in Breath of the Wild. Also, I will focus on both perspectives and feelings, Link and Zelda, equally. Even though the POV can be focusing on Zelda's side due to Link's silent tendencies. But I will do my best to respect their personalities. This is my take, and surely more romantic, on pre-calamity era events. Going from Zelda and Link's meeting to Ganon's awakening, this story starts now.
