Chapter 1
Brian and Lexi were cuddled together on the couch, watching TV. A loud knock was heard at the door. Brian got up and answered, Brad was very excited. He started to tickle Brian's ribs. His Kangaroo fingers rubbing against Brian's deer fur, it tickled so much. He mutely laughed. "Brad, what's up?" he whispered. Brad stopped as he held up a postcard from Australia. Brian grabbed it and read it. "Dear, Brad. Your parents were wondering if you'd like to come by for a visit, love you, mom and dad."
"I was gonna head over to Sydney, my hometown, and was wondering if you and Lexi would wanna come. My dad has a friend who works as a lifeguard at Bondi Beach, and he said that you can come by and maybe work with them." Brad said.
Brian nodded. "I guess so. I haven't been a lifeguard since I was seventeen. Sure."
Brad smiled as he hugged Brian. "What time are we leaving?" Lexi asked. "Seven o'clock tonight." Brad replied as he walked to the door. "I got three tickets, so. See you then." He left. Lexi chuckled as she got up to pack. Brian peered at the clock, four-fifty. They still had three hours before their flight.
Brian walked upstairs and started to pack. Lexi was nearly done. All of her clothes were neatly packed. Brian's however, were neatly kept tidy in his drawers, but everytime he'd pull his clothes out, they'd come undone, and he'd had to fold them up again.
Chapter 2
Once they were done packing, Brian and Lexi sat their luggage by the door. Then the two walked over to the fridge to make their dinners. Brian filled up on his blueberry salad, while Lexi filled up on her strawberry and raspberry salad. Brian grabbed the dishes and quickly washed them. He checked his phone, five-ten. Two hours before take off. As he was about to place his phone on the counter, it rung. It was Brad.
He told Brian that he was outside and that he was gonna take Brian and Lexi to his house to wait. Brian grabbed his bag as he opened the door. Brad sat out in his Jeep. He got out and grabbed his bag. "Allow me to get that." He said. Lexi walked out with her bag, she carried it to the car. Brad grabbed it and packed it next to Brian's.Once everything was set they were on their way.
