It was the middle of a meeting on Olympus. The gods, as expected, were screaming at each other.
"Have you had cereal today?"
"Apollo, for the last time, I AM OLDER THAN YOU!"
"Little sis, little sis, little sis..."
Aphrodite was sitting, staring at the ceiling, something that was not expected from the love goddess.
"ENOUGH!" Zeus yelled, accompanied by a clap of thunder. "Is there anything anyone else has to report!"
No one said anything.
"Well then, council dismiss- ah!"
Zeus had lurched back, almost falling off his throne.
Aphrodite burst out laughing, drawing looks of confusion from the rest of the council. Hestia, however, was smiling, her eyes drawn to a figure above Zeus.
Casually sitting on the ceiling like it was a normal thing to do, laughing quietly, was a boy around 16, with hair as dark as night and a tanned complexion. He was wearing black jacket, with wave designs that seemed to be spray painted. The jacket glowed, lighting up the area he was sitting on. He wore blue pants that had the same design, and gave off the same light. The strangest thing, though was the wolf design on both pieces of clothing, also glowing.
Apparently Zeus had seen him and been startled.
"Sis, this is the almighty lord of the sky, Zeus?"
The council looked around, wondering who the boy was talking to, when the love goddess finally responded.
"Yep."
"I have to say, I kinda expected him to freeze for a second, but that just shows how easily he gets scared." The boy said, a crooked grin on his face.
"Boy, get down here before I shoot you." Artemis growled, hands on her bow.
The boy stopped laughing and stared at Artemis. Finally, after a brief stare-down, he turned his attention back to his sister. "So, I'm guessing this is Artemis, from all the complaints you've told me."
"They weren't complaints, I was just telling how what I was feeling!" Aphrodite huffed, crossing her arms childishly.
"Ah, so you were venting. Now I get it." The boy responded, the smile still on his face. That smile, however, vanished as soon as a silver arrow embedded itself an inch away from him.
"Artemis, you do realise you can't hurt me, right? Believe me, I've tried so many times before. Even the worst monsters could only knock me out, not do anything serious." He said, looking at the huntress.
The goddess lowered her bow, taking in this new information, eyes trained on the boy.
"Alright, brother, you can stop being the mysterious stranger guy now." Aphrodite said with a tinge of annoyance, rolling her eyes.
"Fine, but it's really fun to scare Zeus, so I'm doing that again when I can. It's not like he can do anything." The boy muttered, standing up on the ceiling.
He was standing up, on the ceiling. Either he was some kind of god or gravity simply didn't apply to him.
Finally the boy jumped off the ceiling, so to the Olympians, he just seemed to drop.
He became a blur, before finally landing on the floor, unharmed and standing.
"Everyone, this is Kryos, my older brother." Aphrodite said, walking up to her brother, before hugging him.
