Lynn has a serious problem and Lincoln offers to help

The front door was opened and closed with a loud bang indicated that the entered person was not in a good mood. And probably to emphasize it, the same person gave a frustrated scream of "Damn It" before hitting the wall with his fist. This caught the attention of everybody who was currently in the living room. As it turned out, the angry person was Lynn Loud Jr, who was holding a piece of paper in her fist. Lincoln, who was playing on the console, opened a mouth, ready to ask what is wrong. Before he could, however, his sister threw the same piece of paper on the ground and furiously began to trampled and cursed. Meanwhile, her siblings looked at each other confused cause nobody knew what had gotten into their sister. However, even Leni, who stopped sewing for a few minutes, could guess it had to do with the card that was trampling by her.

Unfortunately, it wasn't very helpful because no one knew what that poor newspaper did to make Lynn angry. However, it was sure it was something big cause she used such curses that it was good the youngest were not at home.

Finally, after a few minutes, the sportswoman stopped venting her spleen, and at that moment, her emotions changed. Tears appeared in her eyes, and her lower eyelid began to tremble as if she wanted to cry.

However, the tomboy did not do it and, just hiding her face in her hands, fled to her room. At the next moment, the door banged on the second floor, making the siblings finally react.

Lori was the first to ask curiously.

- Literally, what possessed her?

- I don't know, sis, but whatever it was, it really got under her skin - Luna said, tuning the guitar.

- Exactly. She was acting like she had lost an important game. - Luan agreed with her sister.

- Umm but today wasn't any match or what? - Confused Leni asked, scratching her temple with a finger.

- No, sis. If it was, she would invite us. - Rocker denied.

- Exactly, but still, what literally happened to her today? - Eldest sister asked concern.

In this way, Loud siblings began to comment and reflect on the strange behavior of their sporty sister. However, no one could say what really happened and just suggested less or more probable reasons.

Only their brother didn't take part in the discussion, which slowly turned into a dispute. He just paused the game, got up from the couch, and walked to where Lynn released frustration. The boy looked at the paper that probably was the reason for her anger. It was crumpled, trampled on, and had several imprints of soccer shoes, but he still was able to read its contents. The teenager picked up the paper and smoothed it a bit. Despite this, it was still hard to read, and the boy needed focus to do it. When a moment later he discovered what it was, his focused expression changed into shock and then into understanding. White-haired slowly lowered the note and said:

- Holy shit.

This statement interrupted the quarrel, and the sisters looked at him.

- What's it, dude?- Musical chestnut asked.

- I know why Lynn got mad. - He explained before sighed and added:- She was banned from participating in sports teams until she improved her mathematics grades.

As expected caused everybody gasped in shock and started commenting:

- Not cool, dude. - Luna expressed dissatisfaction

- No wonder she reacted that way. - Lori agreed.

- As I said, Lynn lost math. Get it? - Luan joked.

- It's not time for your jokes. - Eldest sister scold her aggressively and caused the comedian to cower.

-Umm, it's totes not good, right? - Leni asked innocently

-Leni, it's, literally, as if you were forbidden to sew until you improve your grades-. Her sister explained.

- What? they will ban me sew I have to Immediately ask Lisa for help. - Leni suddenly stood up.

- Leni I didn't mean it. - Lori said, but the blonde has already run upstairs. So she just sighed and said with resignation: - You know, just forget about it.

Then everybody looked at each other waiting until somebody gave some solution. After a while, the rocker asked with concern:

-So, what are we going to do about it, dudes?

-I think I have an idea.- Linon said thoughtfully, then added: -I have to talk to her, don't disturb me.

Then before anybody could ask, he started going upstairs. His sisters looked at him for a moment, then Lori asked curiously:

- How do you think what he comes up with?

- I don't know, but I'm on plus with any of his solutions. Get it? - The comedian joked, causing a moan of irritation.

At the same time, Lincoln went on the second floor and approached the room of his sports sister. As he expected, the door was closed. White-haired sighed sympathetically before putting his ear to the door to hear better what was going on there. Well, the quiet sobbing on the other side confirmed that it was bad. His sister, whom he considered the toughest and most rude girl, cried like a little child. Now he decision was more than clear- he must help her regardless of the cost. His hand made a fist and rose to knock on the door. After three knocks, Lincoln paused and waited for her reaction. A moment later, her sobbing stopped, and the boy heard:

Who's there? - The girl asked with a hoarse voice.

- Lynn, it's me- Lincoln. - The boy said, still leaning against her door.

- Go away, I don't want to see anyone. - Lynn ordered.

- I'm sorry, but this is not an option. - The boy denied before added more gently: - Lynn, you can't lock yourself in your room forever.

- What is holding me back? I have nothing to do, and now you better go away? - The girl said defiantly.

- As I said, it's not the option. - Lincoln again denied, before slowly sat leaning against the door and added: - And I won't leave until I talk to you.

- So, go ahead, talk, but I'm not going to listen to you. -The girl said.

-Lynn. I good know what happened to you. - The boy started.

- No shit, sherlock, and what you planned to do with it, maybe some of your next stupid plan? - Tomboy asked rudely.

- And I know it's must be hard for you. - The white-haired ignored causticity.

- Ohh, really? How did you come up with it? - Lynn asked sarcastically.

-But you can't give up now. - Lincoln continued.

- And what do you think I can do? - The girl asked discouragedly. - I do not have enough time.

- If you let me in, we can found a solution together. - Her brother suggested. Then there was silence until he heard footsteps and then the sound of the opening lock. However, his sister didn't open the door.

-Fine, stincoln, the door is open- you can go in if you want.- Lynn ordered instead of it. He didn't waste this opportunity, got up, and pushed the door to his sister's room. A quick glance proved to him that the athlete did not have the best time or that a tornado was here. All balls, clothes, trophies, sports poles were scattered around and sometimes slightly damaged. At the same time, his sister sat under the wall like a queen of this whole mess. But she didn't look like a queen, more like a delicate girl who was forced to eat vegetables instead of her favorite dessert. Her legs were pulled up to her chin, surrounded by her arms, her head was tucked in her arms, and her hair was disheveled. Seeing this, Lincoln couldn't help but sympathize. Now he knew the most important was to cheer her up. The boy slowly came to her and called:

- Lynn? -The girl looked up. - I know exactly how you feel.

- No, you don't know.- The jock whispered, but the boy managed to hear it.

- Really? So you don't feel that you were treated unfairly, and forced to do something you don't like?- The boy asked ironically.

- Okay, let's say you understand me. It doesn't change anything. - The girl said, her voice breaking.

- Maybe, but at least there is someone with whom you can share your pain or someone who can be your shoulder to cry.- Teenager offered, sitting down next to her with a smile.

Understanding the hint, Lynn suddenly put arms around his chest, hugged him tightly, and began to cry on his chest. At first, the boy was surprised cause his sister wasn't somebody sentimental. However, quickly understood she just couldn't keep her pain inside anymore. So Lincoln hugged her back, putting arms around her back, and started stroking her shoulder blades. The boy began to whisper soothingly:

- Quiet Lynn. It's all over. Your brother is here for you - just let it all out.- He wanted to cheer her up, but it wasn't a good moment. Now tomboy had to release all pain accumulated inside her. So they just were sitting on the floor. Lincoln was whispering her encouragement, still stroking her back soothingly as she cuddled up to his chest and cried softer. After a moment, her crying turned into a quiet sob and then totally stopped. At that time, his sister, still hugging him, looked at him in the eye and said:

- It's so unfair. Why is this happening to me?

- I know, Lynn. I know it seems to be unfair, but it's a part of our life. Not always you can do what you like.- The boy replied friendly to her.

- But why? - His sister broken a hug and asked, clearly annoyed-Why I have to learn so stupid shit like mathematic instead of training and taking the other medals.

- Well, Lynn, I might as well ask why I need to help you with your training, Luna with her practices, Luan with her jokes, Leni with her fashion, and so on, instead of reading Ace Savvy comics or playing video games.-The boy answered.

- So why are you doing it? Why do you do something that doesn't make you happy? Why do you sacrifice your time?- The confused girl asked, suddenly forgetting her anger.

- Cause I don't do it for me.- Lincoln said, causing the jock a confused look. So he sighed and explained: - I don't do it for my own happiness but to see you happy.

- Wait, are you really ready to do something you don't like just for our happiness.- Lynn stated, both surprised and ashamed because her brother devoted his time to her. The boy just nodded, and she seeing it, just couldn't understand it and asked:- Why, why are you doing this. Why are you doing something that tires you and gets bored instead of reading your comics?

- Yes, Lynn, It's boring, and tiring, but in the end, your smile makes up for it, and I think you should look at it from this perspective.- Lincoln explained to her.

- What?- The jock asked.

-Look, don't take what happened as punishment. Think that this is not something you do with coercion, but to see your team happy.- The boy advised her

-Wow, I never thought of it that way, but it sounds really clever. It's strange that you're only eleven years old, Stincoln.- The girl said with admiration, and then added discouraged: - But it does not matter anyway.

- Why do you say so?- Lincoln asked, putting a hand on her shoulder with concern.

- Cause I'm too stupid and haven't enough time. I just can't do anything with it?- Girl looking at the floor, said discouraged.

-What!- The boy suddenly screamed, causing a sportswoman surprised. Then he cleaned his ear and asked - Am I heard good? Lynn Jr, who created the women's basketball team and led to her victory even though they were without a chance, the same one who almost took the men's rugby team to the final and was eliminated only after breaking her leg, Does the same steadfast, competitive, and proud girl now put her ears back and give up because she doesn't know a few mathematical formulas?

Hearing her brother's sincere words girl was deeply touched and had tears in her eyes, Lincoln was right. After all, there was Lynn Lunatic Loud, and there was no challenge that would break her. So she was going to bite this bullet, chew it, and spit it out.

-You are right. - Lynn agreed, then jumped up from the bed and added:- I'm Lynn Jr, and no stupid math can stop me. I'm gonna pass it

The last words she said, hitting an opened hand with a fist. Then she looked at Lincoln and asked him violently:

- Where is Lisa? I need to ask her for help.

-Umm, Lynn. I must say something.- The boy said when he was scratching the back of his head nervously.

-What's it and hurry up, I haven't time.- The jock said restlessly.

- Lisa will not teach you.- Boy said.

- What why?- Lynn said, worrying

-I didn't quite understand, but I think she said you were the second stupidest sister after Leni. So teaching you would be like teaching the monkey with Down Syndrome and Adhd.- Lincoln said.

- What, what did this four-eyed dwarf say about me?-Furious Lynn asked, then she walked toward the exit threatening:

Damn, I will teach her to respect elders.

- Lynn.- The boy stopped her grabbing her arm.- I think I have a better idea?

For a moment, the girl wanted to reject his hand and leave, but then she thought about it. After all, Lincoln was a man with a plan, so maybe his idea wasn't so bad. The girl sighed to calm down and replied:

- Ok, I'm all ears.

- Well, Lynn, when Lisa said it, I suggested maybe the problem is with her and not with you. Well, she didn't believe me, so we made a small bet. If I teach you math, she'll give me her latest science grant, and I'm ready to share it with you. So, what are you going to say?

- First, why you did it behind my back, second, why I should accept. - The jock asked, turning around.

- Sorry, Lynn, but I couldn't let Lisa insult you, and about this last, just look you can beat her or show her she was wrong and then wiped it in her face - Lincoln explained.

- Hmm, I like how it sounds, but can I ask what money is in question? - Lynn asked with curiosity.

- I'm not pretty sure, but I think it's the seven-digit amount. - The boy said uncertainly.

- Very well, Lincoln, We start learning tomorrow. -The jock agreed, then looked at her brother and added with great enthusiasm: - And we will show this second category genius who is stupid one here.

Then he playfully hit him in the arm.

- Ouch, And it's Lynn who I know and admire. - Boy stated with a smile rubbing his arm. Then he ordered: -Now clean up yourself. Let's see five minutes in the backyard.

- Fine, but why? - The jock asked in confusion.

- Today wasn't your day. So, I think we can play baseball or whatever else so that you can be distracted and relax. - The boy said, shrugging.

- I thought you don't like sport. - Girl stated.

- Maybe, but as I said, as long as you are happy, It doesn't haven't matter to me. - Lincoln said and noticed tears in his sister's eyes. So, he added anxiously: - Hey, is something wrong?

- Lincoln. - Lynn suddenly hugged him hard:- You are the best brother I could have dreamed of.

-Thanks, it's nice to hear it. -The boy hugged her back.

-Hehehe, two for sentimental.- The jock broke the hug and giving him two playfully hits in the arm

-I see that you feel better already.- The teenager said, smiling. Then he, suddenly, pushed her away, causing Lynn to almost fall on her ass, and added: -Now hurry up, the last one downstairs washes the underwear.

After these words, the boy ran out of her room before she could react. Lynn screamed playfully:

- Hey, it's a cheat! - Then she hurriedly put on her shoes, picked up a baseball bat and ball, and started chasing him with a smile.
