I never created DC characters.

Confusion appeared in Reverend Amos Howell's eyes as soon as a woman flew above one Smallville area. Squinting, he attempted to focus on her. His eyes widened when he recognized her as one of the villains he usually fought in Metropolis.

Amos tensed and glowered when Silver Banshee descended near a general store. He folded his arms.

''What are you doing here? You're usually in Metropolis.''

Amos wasn't sure if he liked the sudden smirk on Silver Banshee's face at all. He started to squint. What was Silver Banshee up to?

''It's something different for me to do.''

''Mm hmmm.'' Amos guessed he wasn't going to run errands for Martha and Jonathan Kent this time. ''Something other than always seizing jewelry in Metropolis? Robbing banks?'' he asked.

''Exactly,'' Silver Banshee said.

''Again, what are you doing here?''

''I'm here to battle nosy preachers like you. Anyone getting in the way of my fun.''

''I don't have time for this,'' Amos muttered. He thought he heard footsteps in the general store. His shoulders went up.

Amos turned to Silver Banshee another time. His eyes widened the minute she opened her mouth and unleashed a sonic cry. He cried out after his body struck the side of the general store. He slid down the building.

Amos stood and scowled again before a tentacle emerged from his mouth. It slithered to Silver Banshee.

After Silver Banshee seized the tentacle, she pulled Amos forward and to her. She began to grind her high heel on his back as he winced.

The tentacle returned to Amos. He was on his feet again and viewed Silver Banshee walking into the general store. Confused, he blinked twice. He approached the store and eventually heard Silver Banshee as she shrieked again. Wincing, he placed his hands over his ears. When the scream ended, he watched while Silver Banshee ran out of the store with food in her arms. ''Oh. I should have known,'' he mumbled.

The preacher's eyes widened as soon as two hungry animals stepped out of the store and followed Silver Banshee. He remembered the footsteps he heard earlier. Shrugging, he entered the general store to see if there was anything left for him to buy.

To Reverend Howell's dismay, most of the store seemed to be empty.
