Fall had come to Corona, and the leaves were falling.

Rapunzel was eager to get outside to jump into a pile of leaves, but she had been so busy with kingdom duties, she was tired at the end of the day.

At one point, she was beginning to wonder if she'd ever jump into a pile of leaves before winter came.

Eugene noticed her worry, and decided to do something big for her.

'How about, I offer to take care of her duties tomorrow so she can go jump into leaf piles?' He asked Lance.

'Not a good idea. Have you seen how many duties she has? You either won't make it through half the day without going crazy, or you'll do something wrong and you'll be dealing with some very angry homeowners.' Lance replied.

'There's gotta be something I can do.'

'I have an idea, it's going to require a lot of leaves.'

The next day

'What's the big surprise?' Rapunzel asked.

'You'll see.'

They went to the courtyard, and there was piles of leaves everywhere!

'I know how much you wanted to jump into piles of leaves, but with us being busy all the time, I figured I'd bring the leaf piles to you. Plus, it was Lance's idea.' Eugene said.

Rapunzel gave him a big hug and said:

'Oh Thank you thank you thank you! You're the best!'

'You're welcome. Now go have fun!'

Rapunzel gleefully went out to the leaf piles.

'You did a nice thing, Eugene.' Lance said.

'Thanks to you.'

'You know it's going to take forever to clean up this mess, right?'

'Oh, I know, and I'm dreading it!'

That night

Rapunzel took Eugene outside to a tree.

'What are we doing?' He asked.

'We're watching the leaves fall. This is my way of thanking you for your amazing gift today!' Rapunzel replied.

'Thanks. I frankly find watching leaves fall a bit boring, but it can be kind of peaceful, considering how busy we are now.'

'Exactly!'

'I love you, Sunshine.'

'I love you too.'
