This is my idea of what the poem "Ode To A Small Lump of Green Putty I Found In My Armpit One Midsummer Morning", mentioned in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", says. Yes, it's suitably gross. Fair warning to those who don't want to be grossed out! It agrees with "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" canon but I'm not trying to make it the official canon, it's just my idea and others can have theirs.

This is written like an irregular Earth ode, which is coincidence in-universe as it was written by an alien (Grunthos the Flatulent, a Poet Master of the Azgoths of Kria). It doesn't scan, but I've decided that's the difference in-universe between Earth odes and Kria odes.

Ode To A Small Lump of Green Putty I Found In My Armpit One Midsummer Morning

Oh small lump of oily green putty standing out from the sweat of my armpit,
I do not know what you are made of, but I appreciate whatever it is.
You are an interesting shade of green, reminding me of vomit.
You also remind me of mold, mildew, and piss.
I appreciate the way that you smell.
It makes me think of my farts,
And it is as interesting to me as my own blood.
Now some might say seeing you is Hell,
But I appreciate things that are attached to my body parts,
For I think that they are all good.
