Summary: Asuka goes though one of her most fearful moments in her life.

Asuka's Fear

If the was anyone to see Asuka as of right now they would have seen a total emotional mess. The red head was looking down, crying, and calling her husband's name in subdued voice.

"Shinji…"

'Shinji I do not know what I did but I am sorry. Is it because I am ugly? Do you not want to be parents with me? Did I hurt your feelings? Please come back to me! Don't abandon me! Please!"

The sound of a door opened and… Shinji! He came back!

"Shinji! I thought I wound never see you again!" Asuka wept into Shinji as if she was told that her husband was dead only to see him alive.

"Asuka… I was only outside for a few to grab the mail." Shinji for the life of him understand how being pregnant would change his strong and confident wife to such an unstable bundle of emotions.

'Well at least it wasn't like last time when she tried to kill me'

"Why didn't you tell me!"

'Really.'

Does leaving a review in one of my own fanfics an odd way of responding to reviews? I got a good number of reviews for Wife of Obsession with most of them telling me that I should finish the series and I wanted to let them know that I will take their advice, the two bigger problems are time and where to find whole episodes. I know that there are streaming services like Netflex and Amazon, but I have my reason to not want to deal with certain entities. At risk of sounding like a bigger idiot than I already am, I did not watch any of the rebuild movies, in fact I did not know they existed until I stumble across some fanfics that take place after Third Impact and was confused at what was going on and why Asuka had a different last name. Those will be added on to my to watch list for after I finish the original series.

This is obviously extremely sort for a few reasons. One, this idea just popped into my head while I was a work I thought 'Why Not!' and came up with this gag of a Fanfic. Second, I decided to have my lack of details on this short moment between the married couple to be filled in by you, the readers. Does this fanfic take place after the end of the original series, rebuild, or an AU? Do Shinji and Asuka have the psychological problem like in Eva or is it a world where their upbringing is normal and happy? All of these details you get to decide. That and it looks like it will take me forever to finish the next chapter of Wife of Obsession, so this is a good outlet for getting some things out of my head. In other words do not take this Fanfic to seriously.

DESCLAIMER: I am NOT mocking or making fun of anyone here! I've read a bunce of Fanfics with a similar premise where the pregnant wife goes though mood swings and the husband is the one that deals with it. I know that I said earlier to not take this Fanfic seriously but I can sort of see this scene playing out in a post Eva Fanfic because of Shinji and Asuka both having abandonment issues.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who read this and read Wife of Obsession, especially everyone who left a review. Wife of Obsession (which I will now start abbreviating into WoO) was originally going to be a One Shot That I uploaded before going to sleep so I did not flag it as complete, but I saw the reviews and some of them interested in seeing more I decided to use my less than stellar skill to try to come up with an okay multi chapter Fanfic that came out of a random idea I had when reading Fanfiction.

Although I can only read in English, so I am at the mercy of the translate function that will translate some of the languages on the site, so that I can read the Fanfics in English.

JimmyWolk: I like Eva fanfic with happy endings and The 2nd Try is a great Fanfic.
