Hey, everybody. So, I've seen this concept handled before, and I wanted to try it myself.

After watching Crisis on Infinite Earths for the first time, and the following episodes on several of the shows, I realized how much in the Arrowverse the writers were able to change with Crisis. One thing I thought about was how they could've used it change some of the relationships in the different shows to better pairings. So, this will follow one those pairings I wished they would have fixed. Not for West-Allen fans. So if you try and bash me for doing this or for not liking West-Allen, I will simply delete your reviews or ignore your PMs. I've seen that happen to too many other authors who write different pairings in the Arrowverse, and I don't have the patience for fanatics. You've been warned.

Anyways, I think you guys will like this. Let's get to it.

Chapter 1- A New Life

Barry slowly opens his eyes, bringing a hand up to cover his eyes to shield them from the sunlight shining through the window. After waiting for a moment to allow his eyes to adjust to the light, he opens his eyes fully and lowers his hand. At the same time, he realizes he's lying on something soft.

Barry suddenly remembers everything that happened at the Dawn of Time and the fight with the Anti-Monitor. He sits up quickly and looks around at his surroundings. He's in a very nice master bedroom, lying in a nice bed. However, it's not what he remembers his bedroom in the loft looking like.

"You did it, Oliver. You restarted the multiverse," Barry says. He then looks around and whispers, "But what the hell did you make?"

Suddenly, he smells something. Something very delicious. At the same time, he also realizes he's not wearing any clothes. Barry quickly gets out of bed and grabs some clothes out the dresser and puts them on before walking out of the bedroom and heading downstairs.

As he reaches the bottom of the stairs, he smells the strong smell of bacon. He follows the smell, and quickly finds himself in the kitchen. Looking around, he realizes more than ever that he is not in the loft.

Suddenly, he realizes he's not alone. Standing at the stove is a woman who has her back to Barry, cooking bacon. Although she has her back to Barry, with her blond hair and the shape of her body, Barry recognizes her instantly. Even after this long, he knows this sight too well. And when she turns towards him, it's confirmed beyond a doubt.

"Good morning, babe. You took a while to wake up," Patty Spivot says with a smile as she finishes taking the bacon off the stove.

Barry stands there, staring at her, completely in shock. Mainly, at three things. One, that she's here in his home. Two, that she's referring to him as babe again. And three, her stomach is now a large bump, suggesting her to be in the late stages of pregnancy.

"Patty," Barry gasps out after a moment.

Patty looks at him in a bit of confusion. "Are you okay, Barry?" she asks. However, before Barry can reply, Patty gasps herself and looks down at her stomach, putting a hand to it.

Though still very confused, Barry feels concern and asks, "Are you okay?"

"Come here, quick!" she says. Feeling more confused, Barry hurries over to her. Immediately, Patty grabs Barry's hand and places against her bump.

"What?" Barry asks.

"I think I just felt them move for the first time," she says.

"Them?" Barry asks.

"Well, one of them at least…wait, I think one is moving again," she says.

Barry stands there for a moment, wondering if he's dreaming or something, when suddenly he feels it. The feeling of something lightly pushing against his hand from inside Patty's belly. Barry stares down at her bump in shock, his brain trying to digest what he just felt.

"There it is again. Wow, I think I was right. They're definitely gonna take after their daddy," Patty says. She then smiles at Barry as she says, "I can't wait to find out the genders on Saturday."

Barry just stands there, stunned by what his mind is still trying to process. Her face changing to one of concern, Patty asks carefully, "Barry, are you sure you're okay?"

Right then, it registers to Barry that this is not a dream, but that this is reality. Somehow, this is his life. But, more than that, he realizes that he is going to be a father. And by the sounds of it, a father of twins.

"I'm gonna be a dad," Barry says softly.

"Yeah. Are you sure you're okay?" Patty asks, still concerned.

Barry finally looks back up at her. And it that moment, she looks more beautiful than he's ever remembered.

"Yeah. It's just…feeling them move, it's really hitting them that this is really happening," he says, knowing he can't tell Patty yet exactly why he's acting like this.

Patty smiles, accepting this response. "I know. I kind of felt the same way. But it's real, Barry. In 5 months, we're gonna be parents," she says.

Barry looks back down at her bump, then back up at Patty. He then pulls her in without warning and kissing her. Patty giggles a bit and kisses him back. As they kiss, Barry knows that no matter what, no matter his lingering love for Iris, this is his life now. This must be the life Oliver created for him. And he can't wait to be a dad.

Right then, Barry's phone starts beeping. The two break apart, and Barry reaches down to pull out his phone. Unlocking it, he sees an alert.

"Weather Witch is back? And she's in…National City?" he says, confused.

"Here," Patty says, grabbing something off the table and handing it to him. Barry looks at it and sees it's a new Flash ring.

Barry looks up at her in surprise. Patty smiles and says, "Don't worry. I know you can handle her easily. Just don't take too long. I don't want breakfast to go cold."

Barry stands there for a second before he nods. He quickly slides the ring on before deploying his suit, which with relief he realizes is his suit he's worn since before Crisis. Barry races into it before racing off, knowing that once he's beaten Weather Witch, he needs to figure out what is going on and what is different about this new Earth. But most of all, why he seems to be married to Patty instead of Iris.

And, that's it for this chapter.

So, let me know what you think of this first chapter and the concept. Next chapter should be up before too long. Until it's up, please leave a review, and stay tuned!
