(The Elexer League is your ordinary Pokémon league. There are gyms and gym leaders along with elite 4 members. Everything seems fine on the outside, except that a up coming war between the Elite 4 and Gym Leaders is about to throw the Elexer league, and a group of challengers, into chaos.)
OCs welcome and requested. I will need male characters and 5female characters. I will lay out the rules later, but right now I just wanted to give you a little taste of the plot so you can see where your character will fit in. I will have more details after this brief introduction to the story. I wanted to give you guys a unique look into what the story is going to be. This way you can get a sense of my writing and some of the characters. This is a passion project of mine and I hope that you enjoy it. I think you will like it as it's a unique and different take to Pokémon. Plus, I want readers to be involved in the story. I will also try to update this story every week. Sometimes it will be bi weekly do to work. But every week will be the goal.

Introduction
This was the last ditch attempt to fix what had been broken by years of strife. Everyone knew what was going to occur: the gym leaders and elite 4 members were going to war. Victoria "Vikki" Acho, the attractive 26 year old champion of Elexer, had arranged a meeting between the two leaders of the Elite 4 and Gym Leaders. Vikki knew that the impending war would be deveststing. She wanted to avoid this conflict. That was why she had called this meeting. As Champion, it was Vikki's responsibility to fix this. That was why she had called the two main causes of the tension together. This was a young regional league. It had just been established 7 years prior so it did not have the prestige or reputation of Kanto or unova. But it had the potential to be something special. But that would not happen if there was a civil war. Vikki had been asked to arrange this meeting. As champion it was her duty to stop this from coming. Of course she knew that was a losing fight. This rivalry started at birth and there was no turning back. Still Vikki wanted to try. She had to as she was champion of Elexer and it was her duty.
The gorgeous red head had arranged this meeting at Tapu Tapu the premier restaurant in Elexer. She had made sure that no one else would be at the meeting. The 26 year old had some pull as the regional champion for these kind of requests. Sure she was from Kalos, but she had come to Elexer for various reasons. She had settled into a professor's role at Elexer University for 2 years at the age of 22. Then one day she had decided to test her skills as a trainer by challenging the Elexer league. It was a grueling challenge given that it was 10 gyms instead of the regular 8. Yet Vikki had managed to win the gym challenge then defeat the elite 4 to become Elexer's first champion. No one had accomplished the feat until she had done it. Thus her name carried weight. She just hoped that the others would listen to her which was probably a long shot. But she had to for the good of the region. The region she had fallen in love with. Vikki would do whatever she had to keep Elexer out of war.
Her ghost eeveelution, Lucky, floated next to Vikki. The black and purple mon had a permanent smile plastered on his face. The Omeon was the first Pokémon that Vikki had caught in Elexer. He had never left Vikki's side and Vikki appreciated that especially now. Tapu Tapu was a three story restaurant and bar. Vikki had cleared everyone out of the third floor and hoped they would come. But of course they were late. She wore a white blouse with blue jeans as she sighed and looked at Lucky. The champion reached out her left arm as she started to pat Lucky on his head. Her left wrist still had the tattoo she had done after she had won the league. They were the motivational words of her father which always brought a smile to Vikki's face during stressful situations. This was the peak of a stressful situation. So she looked at the last words her father ever said, "you are the last true shining star." A smile crept onto Vikki's face. She missed her father more than anyone would know. That's why she ran away to Elexer. She had come to get away from the drama in Kalos. Yet here she was being dragged back into some new form of drama. She looked at her phone to see that neither of the representatives had contacted her. "Well Lucky, I guess it's time we—",
That was when Vikki heard the footsteps. Her Omeon's ears perked up as Vikki started to refocus on the task at hand. That was bringing peace to Elexer. Her bright green eyes watched as two shadows came into focus. One was floating next to the other. This shadow was a Pokémon, but not just a regular Pokémon. This was a Elexer version of a Raichu. The creature had deep black fur and red eyes. The only exception was the trail of silver on its chest. The creature floated on its tail as its red beady eyes stared at Vikki and Lucky. It did not look like the friendliest of Pokémon. Yet the creature immediately floated over to Lucky and started to circle. The Raichu and the Omeon seemed to be saying hello to one another as they continued to circle around. This brought a smile to Vikki's face as she watched. She knew this Pokémon well and the trainer even better. "I am surprised that Electra is so willing taken by the pokemon that beat her. She usually doesn't like losing. Very surprising indeed.", the voice came from the other shadow. All the happiness seemed to fade from Vikki as she was snapped back to reality by that all too familiar voice.
The shadowy figure came into view. He was tall, at about 6'5 and muscled. He had black, charcoal like hair, with deep blue eyes. There was a prominent beard that he sported. He wore a blue blazer and khaki pants. This had become the staple look for the young man. He was the definition of preppy. In fact he looked like a model. He was one of the more coveted trainers in the region. Vikki even had a go with him at one point, but that had backfired spectacularly. Still she had to admit that this man was handsome. Plus he was arguably the strongest trainer in Elexer next to Vikki. Victoria had no idea how she managed to beat Chandler Burton in their battle, but she had. It was the toughest fight she had ever had. But she had won and was champion because of it. Vikki was the only person to ever beat this man in battle. That was why she had hoped that she could get through to this man. He was the strongest member of the Elite 4 and the one that was most targeted by the gym leaders when it came to their complaints.
The gym leaders argued that they had been mistreated by the Elite 4. That the Elite 4 refused to acknowledge the issues that effected Elexer. These leaders believed that the Elite 4 were too pompous and arrogant to actually visit the towns. The Elite 4 were supposed to help the people and be the custodians of the region. Yet it seemed like they didn't even give a shit about the people in the towns. Instead, the gym leaders argued, that the Elite 4 just cared about appealing towards the other leagues, that their only interest was to attract outsiders into Elexer. That they had ruined the culture of Elexer. Had watered down what made the region special. The gym leaders had targeted Chandler Burton specifically. They said that he embodied everything wrong with the Elite 4. He was too pompous and arrogant to actually care about the gyms and towns. He was only worried about his own reputation. He had even entered the world tournament where he drew the famous Red and had gotten more famous. He let it all go to his head, according to the Gym Leaders. They demanded that Chandler resign his role as head of the Elite 4 and let a more deserving person take over his role. The gym leaders said that the whole Elite 4 was in need of replacing. Their time had come and passed and it was time to move on.
Of course the Elite 4 members had their own arguments against the Gym Leaders. In fact Vikki had to admit that she found herself siding with their arguments despite her fiancée, well ex fiancée, siding with the gym leaders. The Elite 4 said that the gym leaders were just being selfish. That they wanted to just have power over every aspect of Elexer. That they were not concerned with the people that they were supposed to take care of, but power. They also said that the gym leaders were xenophobic towards those from other regions that came to challenge the league. That they were afraid these people were going to take away the control the gym leaders had over the regions. That it was all just about power. Well power and jealousy. It was jealousy that was driving this conflict. The Gym Trainers were jealous of the Elite 4 and the one who was the most guilty was none other than Chandler's own flesh and blood, Alex Burton. Yes, it was Alex Burton that had rallied the Gym leaders against his own brother. To say that Chandler was hurt and shocked by this was an understatement. But he knew his brother and knew that Alex was up to something else, he just didn't know what. That was why he had the Elite 4 prepared for anything. His younger brother was not just doing this to stir up trouble, but had something else up his sleeve. That was what Chandler was afraid of. He knew what his brother was after and if he got it, well it would change everything.
Chandler looked around the restaurant then back at Vikki. "Vikki, where is my brother?", that sent a shiver down both their spines.
