Devil's Heart

Standing at the railing of her friend's ship a woman with long wavy emerald green hair and silver eyes watches the pinks of the sky as the sun slowly rises over the sea.

Leaning against the wall was another person a man with golden eyes watching her. His raven hair shadowed his eyes as his gaze never left her. 'What a breath taking beauty.' He though to himself as the pinks and orange and golds surround her as her white corset hugged her upper body and her skin tight black pants hugged her curves as a green haramaki around her waist that held two swords. One with a silver hilt with jewels and another with a golden hilt with jewels as well.

"You know it isn't proper manners to stare at someone." Said Nyx as she looked over her shoulder pushing her waist length hair over her shoulder as she held a playful smirk on her ruby lips.

The raven hair man smirked as he pushed off the wall and walked over to the woman and turned to lean his back to the railing as his back faced the raising sun. "Well it is hard to turn away from breath taking beauty this early in the morning." He told her with his own smirk on his face.

"Why Mihawk. I never knew you could be a smooth talker." Said Nyx with a smirk on her lips.

"My Lady Nyx Roronoa. I never have spoken to a woman in such a manner until this moment." Said Mihawk as he reached out his right hand taking her left hand into his and raising it up to his lips bending down kissing it. As his golden eyes looking up at her. "For I have never found a lady as lovely as yourself in my entire life." He told her as he release her hand standing up straight.

"Well Sir Dracule Mihawk. Flatter me with your suave words." Said Nyx as she leans into him and whispers into his ear. Her hot breath sending shivers down his spine. Her lips gently brush against his ear as a devilish smile plays across her lips.

A voice calls out behind the two of them. "Well if you two lovebirds are done flirting. You would have noticed we are on your island Hawke." Said a male voice from behind the two.

Mihawk closed his eyes as he let out a sigh. His focus was on the woman before him never sensing the fool that walked up behind them.

Nyx turned to look at the man standing behind them. "Well you could have waited to say something. I was in the middle of something." She hissed out at him as her silver eyes flashed crimsoned.

The man held up his hands in surrender to the emerald hair woman. "I'm sorry Nyx. I didn't know." He said with fear lacing his voice.

"Shanks." Said Nyx.

"Yes?" Said the now name Shanks as he tilted his head to the side.

"You have three seconds to turn around and run before I take your head." Hissed out Nyx. But before she finished what she was saying Shanks was gone.

Nyx looked up at Mihawk. "Now were where we?" She asked him with a sweet angelic smile on her lips.

He smiled as he leaned down his lips gently brushing against hers. "My lady. Would you spend the rest of your life with me?" He asked her as his lips captured hers.

A smirk played across her lips as she returned his kiss. As she pulled away and leaned her head against his chest. "I have been waiting for you to ask me. I had thought I would be asking you this question today." She told him with a playful twinkle in her eyes.

He arched his brow looking down at her. "I would like your answer before the fool and the other come once more." He told her.

Kissing him once more. "I will marry you my dear Hawk eyes. I shall become your dear blushing bride." She whispered into his ear.

This chapter is short for it is the Beginning of Nyx and Mihawk's love affair
