This will be a rewrite of #MisgivingTree I tried to make it completely different.

Jessica POV

"Well, it looks like people are finally starting to read my article." I claim to my friends. They all just stare at one another. "What?" I ask confused.

Barbra points over to the trash cans. I look over and see there filled with papers, my article. I stare in shook at it.

"Oh, Jess sorry but, your colum might just be a lost cause." Zee responds playing with salad.

I grunt standing up her fork flying as she jumps in surprise. "There's no such thing as a lost cause!" I claim. I slam a fist on the table. I hold out my article in her face. "That's literally the name of my latest article." I explain to her. I give it to her walking over to the trash cans.

"You could have at least recycled, you animals!" I yell to anyone hearing in general. I take the papers from the trash moving them to the recycling bin. "Huh?" I question as one of the kids laughs sinisterly crumbling up an article. I block the trash cans. "Don't you dare!" I yell at him. He tosses it but it flys over me hitting another girl reading a book. The kid behind me starts laughing and I turn and glare at him, and he walks away a disgusted look on his face.

I look back at the girl sitting alone. "Who is she?" I whisper under my breath. I notice a ton more papers flying her way and hitting her but she pays no mind to them.

I walk back over to my friends a frown on my face. I take a seat next to Barbara as she slurps in her ramen cup of noodles. "That poor girl..No one to eat lunch with no one to talk to..." I look over to her. "No friends at all."

"Oh Jess poor unobservant Jess." She pulls me close to her. "Don't you see her hair carefully placed to hide the face? The downward direction of the gaze. The oversized baggy clothes, that tuck her away from society." She pulls away relaxing in her seat. "It doesn't take a super sleuth like me to figure out Pam Isley doesn't want friends." She explains.

"Nonsense! Everyone wants friends." I exclaim pulling on her sweater so she's looking at me. I let her go looking over at Pam, "Pam just hasn't met the right one.."I respond determined.

"Oh no, Jess please don't." Zee begs.

"..yet." I respond standing up.

"Dude. Seriously leave it alone Pam Isley is a lost cause." Kara finishes agreeing with Zee.

"There's no such thing as a lost cause." I explain, I hear them all groan as I walk away.

I walk over to her noticing she's digging into her food. I pop up next to her. "Hi!" I exclaim then I notice her plant. "So, is this your plant?" I ask curiously.

She pulls away the plant from my reach. "This is Phil." She respond blocking the plant from my view.

"He complains if I leave him alone with the rhododendrons." She explains.

"Oh! How fascinating." I exclaim trying to get her to keep talking. "I have a peace lily at home who wilts when I forget to water him." I add in.

"Do you mind? Phil and I would rather eat out lunch alone. Photosynthesis is most optimal in silence." She explains.

"Oh! I know how that is. Silence is so silency. I love silence." I think this is going well.

She gets up from her seat picking up her plant. "Come on, Phil. There's more sunlight out in the quad." She grumbles walking away.

"By friend! See you around school!" I yell exited. "That went well." I tell myself.

Later in chemistry..

"Oh hey!" I shout as I scoot next to her. "What are the odds we'd end up as lab partners." I lay my head on my hand.

She looks at me in disgust. "I have an agreement with the teacher. I don't do lab partners." She tells me.

"Come on! It'll be such a blast!" I tell her hoping she'll agree.

The chemical she was working on suddenly goes off a bunch of pink smoke everywhere. When it disappears I don't see Pam anymore.

Pam POV

I open my locker and find a note inside. I take it out and read it. "Roses are red violets are blue, I would like to really be best friends with you." I groan in annoyance.

I close my locker. "Hi Pam!" I shriek in surprise. It's this girl again.

"Violets are not blue! That is an unfounded stereotype!" I yell at her. I run to the restroom when I open the door I find her inside. It's like this the rest of the school day.

I find myself hiding from her trying to avoid her. "What is with this girl?" I ask myself looking around to make sure she isn't at every corner. Why is she even trying to talk to me? I just want her to leave me alone!

I only feel safe again when I arrive home and lock all my doors. I relax on my couch feeling exhausted from the day I had. Once I sit down it's silent. Not a sound at all, my plants aren't talking either. It feels so lonely after constantly having the attention of that girl who I still don't know, I don't even know what her name is.

I sigh and the peace and quietness. "Has it always been like this..?" I ask myself I groan. "No this is what I enjoy don't let that psycho get into your head." I lecture to myself. "I just hope she leaves me alone tommorow she's such a bother." I tell myself.

I lay back on my couch "You could really use human friends." I look over at phill.

"I don't need friends." I respond, I shut my eyes before falling asleep on my couch. Trying to forget about the day I had.
