Hello and welcome to my story! Spider-man has always been my favorite superhero, and Percy Jackson is my favorite book character. Recently, I've been looking for stories about both of them together, and though there are some good ones, none of them perfectly matched my vision or they were never finished (that's so annoying isn't it, when a story you like is never finished? I'm gonna try my best not to do that). So, I decided, why not just make my own?
Keep in mind that this is my first fanfic ever, I have never written anything like this at all, only made up stories in my head. This was my first time actually putting pen to paper with them (or rather putting finger to computer keys).
I'm just a 12 year old girl who loves Percy Jackson and Spider-man and has a writing hobby, so sorry if my grammar isn't perfect. I would love if whenever someone spots something that isn't grammatically correct or anything like that they would point it out, this is my first time going public with anything that I've written!
So, I'm just going to clear up timelines and story details before I get going. Here's some things to note:
1.) This is set after Spider-man: Homecoming and the Blood of Olympus.
2.) The trials of Apollo never happened and Leo is still missing.
3.) Aunt May does not know about Peter's secret identity (I'm gonna pretend like the scene at the end of the movie never happened).
4.) The Avengers are still in the Avenger's tower (they haven't moved locations like in the movie).
5.) The version of Spider-man that I'm going to be writing is (like I've said before) the Tom Holland version, but there are going to be some elements of the Ultimate Spider-man TV series in the story, nothing big, just things like the fact that I will describe Flash as he is in the show because that's how I picture him (my brother and I used to watch the show when we were really little and just recently started to watch it again). Every time that I change something or make a reference to the show that has significant importance to the story or that isn't self explanatory, I'll put an A/N about it.
6.) I'm not a complete expert on Marvel, it's entirely possible that I missed something while watching the movies or something, but I'll try my best, if there's something that you see that doesn't add up, comment on it and I'll try my best to fix it.
Great, I think that that's everything. I'm not exactly sure how this is going to go yet or how everything works so if you have any recommendations about things that you think I should do or anything I'm open to suggestions. I already have the basic outline of the story planned out so that I won't have an excuse for abandoning the story for lack of ideas. I don't have a publishing schedule, and I don't like making promises, but I think that the chapters will come out fairly quickly, especially since we're at home because of quarantine and because summer's almost here.
Just one question: does anyone have any ideas about what Percy's superhero name should be or what his costume should look like?
