Author's Note: Hello all! I am back with Season One of Black Butler, Book Two of my Story! I am so sorry it took so long! I decided to take a break after writing the first book to my story, then the holidays were upon us thus keeping me extremely busy, then once I did start writing, I did not realize just how many episodes there are for Black Butler Season One lol and plus I had to add a few extra chapters of my own thus becoming longer. My process to writing is that I write the entire story out, rewrite as I type it out before I post which is how I'm able to post once a week. I was going to post last week, however, my ten year old computer decided it was time to move on so I had to get another laptop which I did! Yay! So today I shall post two chapters for you all before going back to one a week. Thank you to all who followed/favorite my first story, I hope you enjoy this one as well! Anyway, I hope you all are staying safe out there during this crazy, uncertain time. I hope you are finding all that you need, staying safe, staying healthy, and using healthy habits to fight this sickness.
There is sexual content in this story. There will be a line where it starts and where it ends.
Now, onto the story!
Chapter One: His Butler, Strongest, His Bodyguard, Protective
As the days went by, Sebastian and Frances began courting each other. They kept their relationship and work separate. Well, mostly when they had guests. Now that her past was uncovered, she asked Sebastian more questions. Such as, did he sleep, could he eat human food, how did he act like a human so well, if it was difficult for him to slow down his speed to appear human, and many more. He chuckled, entertained by the questions and her curious nature. He told her that he did not sleep, though he could in a recreational sense (which caused a follow up question of what he did at night. He told her that he usually wanders the halls, protecting the Young Master from people who attempt to cause him harm, and prepare for the next day.), yes, he could eat human food, however, it had no taste to him, that he's observed humans for a long time thus knowing how to act human, and not really, it was more of a nuisance to slow down to human speed than anything.
He asked her about her siblings and what they were like as well as her reaction when she first woke up to him cleaning her wounds. She told him that Bridgett is a bookworm. She could read anything and everything that she could get her hands on. Irene was a very crafty person and loved to bake. Marcelo liked to cook and play games. When he asked about her reaction to when she woke up, she hesitated for a moment. She told him after she realized that she had told them she protected her siblings at any cost. The first time her Father had whipped her continuously, it was the worst pain she had ever felt. When he finally stopped, she had passed out. She awoke to Bridgett cleaning her wounds. Their Father found her doing so and slapped her so hard, that she sprawled backwards. When he made to strike her again, Frances told him that it was her fault not Bridgett's, so he slapped her before forcing Bridgett out of the room. After that day, she started healing her wounds however, there were times when she couldn't heal all of her wounds so Bridgett would come in and clean them despite her warnings not to. Sometimes their Father would catch her, other times he wouldn't. "Which is why you said, "No, don't.". You were warning your sister." He said. Frances nodded, saying yes.
They were able to make time sparring together or playing the violin, he even serenaded her with his beautiful, enchanting voice and violin. The first time he did both, she fell even more in love with him. He also taught her how to dance and would sometimes twirl her before going to retrieve the Young Master in the morning. Sebastian enjoyed kissing her until she desperately needed air. After about a minute and fifteen seconds, he would release her from the kiss, though she would last just a bit longer each time they embraced.
One night, after she finished making the oils and potions for the Young Master, she was getting ready for bed. She had just crawled under the covers when she felt his presence at the door. He knocked before entering. She sat up, looking at him.
"Good evening, Sebastian." She greeted, smiling.
"Good evening, Frances." He greeted back.
In a blink of an eye, he was by her side. He laid down on the right side of her. She picked up her hand to stroke his hair, but stopped short.
"May I?" She asked, softly.
He smiled shrewdly, "You may."
She smiled and began running her fingers through his incredibly soft hair. It felt so luscious. She wondered if his feathers would feel the same. Her smile widened as she watched his eyes close. After a while, she spoke.
"Sebastian, when's your birthday?" She asked.
He opened his brownish-red eyes and glanced at her.
"Demons don't have birthdays." He said, indifferently.
She propped herself up on her elbow, turning her body towards him, still stroking his hair.
"But, you had to have been born, or made on a specific day…" She said, softly.
He turned his head towards her, his brownish-red eyes looking into her brown ones in wondering silence for a moment.
"What brought this on?" He asked her.
She smiled, her hand moving to caress his cheek.
"Well, I love you and I want to celebrate you." She explained as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
His eyes widened in surprise. He stared at her in silence for a few moments before a smile spread across his lips. He leaned towards her and kissed her lips. She kissed him back. He pulled away after about thirty seconds. She opened her eyes to see him smiling at her.
"You are such an exquisite human." He said, softly.
She smiled, waiting.
"October thirty-first." He answered her.
Her smiled widened. She leaned forward and embraced his lips for a moment before pulling away.
"October thirty-first, my love's birthday!" She exclaimed, happily.
He chuckled lightly.
They remained in silence for a few moments, she continued caressing his face. Then she asked her question.
"So, were you born or made?"
The demon gave her a smirk.
"I was created by God."
Her eyes widened.
"Yes, I was an angel however, I followed Lucifer to Hell."
"…I see."
She leaned down and kissed his forehead. She pulled away, smiling at him.
"Thank you."
His eyes widened once again. Suddenly, he embraced her lips in a passionate kiss.
The following day, before they got started on breakfast, Sebastian handed her a box. She looked at his smiling face with her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"What's this?" She asked him.
"A present." He answered, simply.
"For what?"
"For being you."
She smiled and opened it. She gasped. It was a silver pocket watch! Once she got paid, she was going to ask if she could go into town to buy one herself! She looked up at him in surprise.
"How did you know I wanted one?" She asked.
He smirked.
"Just a guess." He stated.
Her smile widened. She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaned up, and kissed his cheek.
"It's beautiful. Thank you!"
She let go of him and hooked it onto her pocket before slipping it inside. She looked up at him.
"Shall we?" She asked.
"We shall." He said, smiling.
They made breakfast together.
Ciel noticed that things had gotten more serious between the demon butler and Frances. He knew they kept their loyalties to him and he noticed that it didn't interfere with their work; however, he had to question the demon for he thought demons didn't love.
"Why are you entertaining this girl? Demons don't love." Ciel asked him.
"While it is true that demons don't love, we are not incapable of it. Despite what has been said about us, we do have feelings, however, love is very rare, albeit a demon's love is slightly different. Frances is the one who has brought it out of me. She is unlike any human I have ever encountered, my lord."
Ciel looked at him inquiringly, silently asking him to explain.
"She has an inner strength and protectiveness that I have never seen in a human, it is at the same level as a demon's. Her mere presence makes me feel rather calm and the way she lives each day treasuring every moment intrigues me. She wants to understand the world around her and is unapologetic about it and unafraid of beings such as myself. She is extremely intuitive. She has the strength yet gentleness that I have never seen in a human before and transitions between them elegantly." Sebastian explained his voice filled with adoration.
Ciel stared at the demon in complete shock. He had no idea demons could feel so deeply. It slightly worried him, yet he was intrigued. He intertwined his hands with his elbows on his desk.
"What do you mean different?" He asked.
Sebastian smirked. He glanced at the Young Master out of the corner of his eyes.
"Demons are possessive creatures after all. We have been known to kill those that threaten what is ours. We mark those that are meant to be our mates to let other demons and beings know that they are ours."
Ciel's eye widened. His hands pressed flat against his desk, standing from his chair.
"Have you marked Frances?!"
"No. It contains a certain… intertwining to complete and Frances has expressed that she is not ready for it."
A blush came upon his face, causing the demon to chuckle lightly at the boy's embarrassment. Ciel sat down and looked away.
"I see." He stated.
After a few minutes of processing everything, a smirk appeared upon his face.
*This should be interesting.* He thought.
The other servants knew about their relationship as Frances had told them because she knew of Mey-rin's crush on Sebastian. She was upset at first, however, seeing the two of them be so happy with each other and seeing Frances' expression as she explained how she had never felt this way with anyone, she got over it. Though, she couldn't help, but still find him attractive and she told her as much. Frances couldn't help, but giggle and agree to that. Bard said he had known and Finny was just happy that she was happy and that he hoped he found love. She told him he would in time, what with his adorable personality, love would find him. He blushed then gave her a tight hug. Her friends were truly adorable.
When she received her paychecks, she would send half of it to her siblings while saving the rest for gifts, dresses, and things. She wrote to them and sent them cookies and gifts from time to time. They would write letters to her as well, telling her about their days and she could feel how much happier and livelier they were now that they were free from their past. She could feel how happy they were that she was happy, though she did feel when they missed her. She missed them too from time to time, but she knew she could ask the Young Master to visit them when she wanted to. However, she was still happy being able to grow and be with Sebastian, Ciel, and her friends that have become a second family to her.
One mid-morning, the Young Master had some guests that she and Sebastian attended to including Madame Red and Mr. Lau. They merely brought them some appetizers and drinks to snack on while they conversed. Once that was taken care of, the two departed from the room. They gave each other a quick kiss before parting ways to work on their chores. As Frances was cleaning up her assigned rooms, she could hear her friends running about the manor trying to catch the rats that had been infesting the manor for the past week. Just that morning, she had already captured four of the pests in her cage that she summoned. Apparently, they were overrunning the city. She had briefly wondered if the growth in numbers was her fault as that man might be swindling money from people. She might have to ask the Young Master if she could go into town.
She had finished her chores a little later than usual, she put her supplies away, and held up the cage with the seven rats she had within, wondering what to do with them. After a few moments of debating what to do with them, she decided to send them to a veterinary clinic in town. Once that was done, she made her way to the Practice Room and started playing the violin.
Sebastian closed his eyes, hearing the beautiful sounds coming from her violin. He was going to have her join him in cleaning up the game room and sending off most of their guests and assist him in taking care of the remaining guests. However, upon hearing the joyful tunes emerging from her soul, he decided to take care of them himself. A smile graced his lips as his being relaxed upon hearing the musical notes.
As she played through her second song, she had felt Sebastian's extreme discomfort. She had a feeling that it was Madame Red's doing. She felt when it died down even though he was still uncomfortable. She played through a few more songs and just as she had finished playing a piece from the past, an overwhelming feeling of something was going to happen to the Young Master filled her. She quickly placed the violin upon the chair before running out the room and down the hall. She got to the Young Master's Office just in time to see two people grab him, holding a cloth over his mouth. There were four other people in the room. They looked at her in surprise. She gave them a fierce glare.
"Let go of the Young Master!" She said, going into an offensive position.
The Young Master looked at her and gave her the slightest shake of his head. She mentally frowned. She disliked this part of his "games". She gave a small nod nonetheless. His head leaned forward, overcome by the chemicals in the cloth.
"The Watchdog's Bodyguard." One of the men said.
"Get her!" The one holding the Young Master ordered.
Two of the men attacked her. She grabbed one and threw him at the other. They fell into each other, landing on the floor with grunts. A third man grabbed her from behind, but she flipped him over onto the Young Master's desk and threw him across it before he landed with a thud upon the floor. Suddenly, the fourth person wrapped his arms around her, locking her arms behind her back. She snarled as one of the men she threw at the other came up to her with a cloth and covered her nose and mouth with it. It smelled strongly of chemicals. She tried to fight it, but she couldn't.
"Bring her with us!" The man ordered, tossing the Young Master over his shoulder.
Her eyes felt heavy and her world turned dark.
The drug wore off rather quickly. She opened her eyes just a little and looked around. She saw she was in the backseat of a motorcar, no Young Master in sight.
*They must have him in a different car…* She thought.
They drove through the East End for a bit. Finally, the car was pulling into a black gate with brick walls on either side that surrounded a tall, medium sized white mansion. They parked. She closed her eyes pretending to still be asleep. She felt two people lift her and began carrying her. One by her arms, the other carried her legs. She reopened her eyes a bit to see the Young Master being taken through a dining room while she was taken upstairs.
"Ha. The big bad Guard Dog and his bodyguard! Pretty pathetic! She couldn't even take us all down!" She heard the man at her head laugh.
The man holding her legs snickered.
She mentally smirked.
*Continue underestimating us. You'll be in for a big surprise.*
She continued to look around discreetly. There were no rooms on the left of her as it was a balcony from the stairwell. They rounded a corner and she counted five doors. They took her through the second door. They tossed her on the floor for a moment. She nearly grimaced with pain.
*Jerks!*
One of the men grabbed a chair and placed it in the center of the room. They threw her in it. Tied her hands behind her back, tied a rope around her waist, and another around her legs. There were four other people in the room. She reclosed her eyes.
Back at Phantomhive Manor
Sebastian knocked on the Young Master's Office door pushing the teacart.
"Young Master, I've brought your afternoon tea." He paused a moment, upon hearing no response, he opened the door, "Young Master?"
His eyes scanned the disarrayed room. Papers and books littered the floor, a chair was overturned, and the window was open, the curtains billowing from the slight wind. He sighed.
"This is terrible. The tea will go to waste."
He turned to leave when he caught her scent. It was faint and fleeting, but still there. His eyes narrowed slightly.
"Well, at least she's there to protect him. If they don't separate them that is."
Back at the Mansion in the East End
About ten minutes later, she felt the cold touch of a gun upon her chin. She slowly opened her eyes to see one of the Young Master's guests that she had seen while serving the appetizers. He was a man with blonde hair and green eyes. He had a scar going across the middle of his face from the right top of his forehead to his left cheek. A silver gun held in his hand. He smirked at her.
"Finally awake, are you?" He asked her.
"Where's the Young Master?" She demanded, her eyes narrowed.
"He's safe, for now. If your friends don't bring us what we want, we will kill them one by one."
She chuckled, looking away. He frowned.
"What's so funny?" He demanded.
She looked up at him, smirking.
"The fact that you think you can kill them."
He pistol-whipped her and made her fall to the floor.
"My men took you down easily enough. Though, that's hardly a surprise, seeing as you are only a woman after all. However, seeing as you are the Guard Dog's Bodyguard…" He turned his gaze to the men in the room, "Keep an eye on her!"
"Yes, sir!" The six of them said.
The door opened then closed. She turned her head toward the hardwood floor, covered her face with her hair that was in a half bun, and smirked even more.
About twenty minutes later, she could sense the Young Master getting hurt. She clutched her hands into fists.
*I'm sorry. I'm sorry.* She thought.
Back at Phantomhive Manor
Sebastian left the cart at the end of the hallway. He picked up the deep-dish apple raisin pie he made and began walking down the hall.
"Now, where can the Young Master and Frances have gone off to?" He wondered, placing a hand to his chin.
"Sebastian!" He heard Mey-rin's voice call out to him.
He looked up to see her running down the hall, waving a piece of paper in her hand.
"I just found a letter at the front door, yes!"
"Addressed to whom?" He questioned, feeling the sniper's scoop upon him.
"Um, "The Earl Phantomhive's Servants"." She responded, reading the letter.
He glanced at the sniper. He saw him panic for a moment. He turned his gaze to Mey-rin who shrieked as she tripped over her shoe. She went flying into the air. In the next second, he threw the apple raisin pie up into the air as Mey-rin fell into him as the bullet went through the window. It shattered both the window and the vase that sat in the hallway. The apple raisin pie began to fall back down. Sebastian merely lifted his arm and caught it.
"Mey-rin, the letter." He stated, stoically, trying to get the woman off him.
Mey-rin's face was bright red as she leaned away from him.
"Y-Yes, Sir, yes!"
She got off him, offering him the letter. He stood up, taking it into his hand in the process. He began to read.
""If you want us to return your master and servant safely, bring that thing to Nova Scotia Gardens in Bethnal Green." What a vulgar invitation."
"Sebastian!" Finny yelled, running with Bard down the hallway.
Sebastian placed the letter into the inside of his tailcoat pocket.
"Say, what happened?" Madame Red asked.
He turned to her and Lau with a calm smile.
"I apologize for the commotion. Nothing is the matter, so please don't worry."
Madame Red and Lau turned to the broken window.
"Nothing?" She asked, skeptically.
Ran-Mao popped out behind Lau, looking at the vase. Grell caught up to them and bent over, panting as he caught his breath.
Sebastian turned to Bard and Finny.
"I'm sorry, everyone, but would you please clean this up?" He asked, handing Bard the apple raisin pie.
He walked past them, intent on finding the Young Master and Frances.
Back at the Mansion in the East End
Frances could feel the continued beating of her Young Master and wanted nothing more than to break out of her restraints and go to his aid. She was getting impatient. She knew she had to wait for Sebastian to figure out where they were. Suddenly, the door burst open and another man came in.
"Hey, the boss wants four of you to come with me to guard the outside of the mansion! That butler is coming here!"
"All right!" One of the men said.
Four of them left the room, leaving her with two. Her smirk widened. She broke through the rope on her wrists, waist, and legs. She summoned her sword and stood up quickly.
"Hey! How did you…?" He pointed his gun at her.
She stabbed him in the stomach. The other man lunged at her; she sliced his chest. Once they were incapacitated, she made her way out to the hallway. She closed the door quietly. She made her way stealthily down the hallway. Upon reaching the end, she leaned against the wall and peaked her head around the corner. There were many men lining the hallway. She looked at the other side to see more men lining the other side of the balcony. She inched closer, using the shadows to cover her. She looked over the edge of the balcony to see more men on the dining room floor. Suddenly, Sebastian strolled in. As he quickly glanced around the room, his eyes caught hers. He gave her a small nod. She nodded back. The men started firing. Sebastian blocked the bullets with his serving tray. Frances summoned a shield. She began to slice into the men's side as she ran down the hallway aligned with men. After she took out the fifth person, the men turned to her in shock before firing their guns at her. She held up her shield to block the bullets. She continued to run and slice.
Sebastian took out the other side with his tray. Upon using his tray, he jumped onto the table, ran across it, grabbing the plates to throw the men upon the ground. When he ran out of plates, he used his knives.
"Who the hell are these two?" They heard a man on the ground floor ask.
One of Sebastian's knives imbedded into his head causing him to fall to the floor, dead.
"A Phantomhive butler who can't do this much isn't worth his salt." Sebastian said, throwing more utensils at the men.
Frances smirked as she continued running and slicing into the men in their sides or stabbing them in the stomach. Once at the end of the line of men, she calmly walked down the stairs, sending her sword and shield away. She smiled at Sebastian who was hanging upside down on the chandelier with his arms crossed over his chest.
*He looks like a bat.* She thought, smiling wider to contain her laughter.
She made it to the last step and walked towards him. He dropped, flipped mid-air, and landed perfectly on his feet right beside her. They looked at their pocket watches. It was four forty-five. They closed them at the same time. A small click sounded. They looked at one another.
"I'll go around back." She said, quietly.
He nodded. They walked forward. Just as they were about to spilt, Frances reached out a hand and gently took his. He looked at her.
"Be safe." She whispered.
The demon smiled. Used to her affection nature. He gently caressed her cheek.
"You as well." He said.
She smiled, leaning into his touch for a moment before taking off down the hallway. His eyes followed after her. A smirk formed upon his lips.
"Now then."
Frances made her way towards the room the Young Master was in. She snuck in through a secret door she found. She slowly opened it and looked in. She saw the Young Master tied up in belts around his waist and chains around his ankles. She saw the blonde haired man pulling the Young Master by his hair placing the gun at his head as he stared intently at the door. Sebastian walked in. He bowed.
"I have come to retrieve my Master."
The man lowered the gun slightly.
"Ha! This is a surprise. I was imagining a brawny giant, but you're just a milksop in a tailcoat. Who are you? You're not just a butler."
Sebastian straightened.
"No, I am merely one hell of a butler… that's all."
The blonde haired man gave a short laugh.
"Oh, really? At any rate, I don't intend to fight you. But…"
He pointed the gun at the Young Master's head again.
"You better have brought the goods."
"Yes." Sebastian said, reaching into the inside of his tailcoat and pulled out a key, "Here it is."
A bullet shot through his head.
Frances gave a small gasp and clutched her head momentarily as pain shot threw her. Ciel's eye widened.
"Sebas…" He started.
A rain of bullets came from the portrait on her left. She winced as she felt his pain. Once the guns stopped, so did the pain. Three men stood behind the "portrait". The blonde haired man laughed excitedly, thinking he won.
"Sorry, milksop, but I win this game! I'm up against Phantomhive, the game master (She watched as four men emerged from the secret passage.) so of course, I had a trump card to play! I damaged the goods a little bit, but you should fetch a good price even if they can't sell your parts. (Frances was disgusted as she watched as he took Ciel's eye patch off with the gun. He tapped under his chin with it.) Now, no need to be scared. By the time some pervert takes you in…"
Frances glared. Her hands clutched into fists.
"Hey! How long are you going to play around?" He asked Sebastian.
"Goodness gracious…" Sebastian started moving his hand.
Frances smirked.
"Th-That's impossible." The blonde haired man gasped.
The four men that shot at Sebastian backed away in terror. Sebastian got up to his feet, slowly, unnaturally, bending his legs, back, and head to stand upright. Frances found it fascinating.
"Today's guns are so much more efficient… Quite different than the guns of a hundred years ago."
He was standing upright.
*Wow.* Frances thought.
He coughed the bullets and some blood into his hand. He smirked.
"I'll give these back to you."
The blonde haired man gasped, "What are you waiting for?! Kill him!"
The four men were terrified. They unsteadily pointed their guns at Sebastian but before they could pull their triggers, Sebastian threw the bullets in his hand at them, hitting each of them. They went down. The blonde haired man lowered his gun and grip on the Young Master in shock. Frances ran in. He turned to her with a gasp, but she was already behind him. She kicked the gun out of his hand, breaking it. The gun landed with a clank, sliding a few feet away. He gripped his wrist in agony. She began a series of punches and kicks on the man.
"Oh, dear. My clothes are full of holes." Sebastian complained.
"That's what you get for fooling around, you idiot." Ciel retorted, annoyed.
"Young Master, you look good." Sebastian said, walking towards him, "You're like a caterpillar. It's quite pathetic and wonderful. It suits a small, weak creature like you."
He picked up the Young Master.
"This wasn't a fun game." The Young Master stated.
Sebastian walked over to a purple chair with brown armrests.
"Frances." The Young Master called her.
Frances gave one last punch into the man's stomach. He grunted.
"Don't you ever underestimate a woman." She huffed, standing up.
She turned on her heel and walked towards the Young Master. Sebastian had placed him in the chair. She walked to the left side of him. She leaned down.
"Would you like me to heal you, Young Master?" She asked, quietly.
He shook his head, no as Sebastian began ripping off the belts before undoing the chains on the Young Master's ankles.
"W-Wait!" The blonde haired man cried.
Frances glanced at him as she straightened.
"Both of you, become my bodyguard and I'll pay you both five times what he does now. No, ten times! And you can have all the wine and women you want! And for you miss, you can have to greatest man! So…" He trailed off as Frances scoffed.
She turned her head away in disgust. Sebastian scowled, a low growl escaping his lips.
"No, thank you. I am more than happy where I'm at. Besides," She said, turning to Sebastian with a radiant smile, "I am already in love with someone who has more chivalry than a measly rat like you."
Sebastian glanced at her, a smirk forming on his lips. He turned back to his task of unchaining the Young Master.
"Unfortunately, Mr. Vanel, (He dropped the chains that he took off the Young Master's ankles.) I have no interest in the rubbish created by humans. And as for women, I have no need for them for there is only one who has captured my black heart." Sebastian said, looking at Frances with a devilish smile.
She looked away from him as a blush covered her cheeks.
"Black heart?" Vanel asked, confused.
Sebastian turned to him, his devilish smile turning into a wide smirk.
"Yes. You see, I am merely one hell of a butler." His eyes turned fuchsia with cat eye slits as his demonic voice emerged.
Frances felt a pleasant shiver run through her. She had never seen his demon eyes nor heard his demonic voice before. It was haunting, enchanting, and…
*So beautiful.* She thought in a sing-song way.
"H-Hell?" Mr. Vanel asked, looking terrified.
Darkness took over the room as Sebastian's black feathers dropped around him. Frances smiled and looked around in awe. She reached up and took one of the feathers. She held it in her hand, gently running her fingers over it.
*It is just as soft as his hair.* She thought with a sigh.
The Young Master sat with a smug look upon his face as he leaned on his hand.
"As long as my Young Master holds the contract, I am his loyal lapdog. (Sebastian took his glove off with his teeth.) I am bound to my Master by a sacrifice, a wish, and a contract. (Sebastian lifted his left hand to cover his eye, showing off his demon insignia to Mr. Vanel who continued to cower in fear.) Until the day I take his soul." Sebastian explained.
Mr. Vanel looked horrified.
"Unfortunately, for you, this is game over." The Young Master stated, smugly.
Sebastian walked slowly towards him. Mr. Vanel stuttered incoherently. Frances watched as his sharp black nails appeared. Mr. Vanel screamed as Sebastian appeared before him. He quickly turned Mr. Vanel into nothingness cutting off his dreadful scream. She saw his black blur move over to the other bodies of the room before returning to the Young Master's side, pulling on his gloves. All was still for a moment and the darkness surrounding them, dissipated, revealing the room they were in once again.
"I'm tired. Let's go home." The Young Master stated.
"Very well, my lord." Sebastian said in his human voice.
He turned to Frances, who turned to him with a smile.
"Get on my back, please." He told her.
She looked at him confused.
"Uh, all right." She said, quietly.
She stuck his feather into her pocket, sending it to her drawer in her nightstand at the manor. He knelt down. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. He bent down and picked the Young Master up before running at his demon speed. Frances closed her eyes and buried her head into his shoulder. She could feel his head turn towards her, a smirk evident upon his face. He turned his head back. Soon enough, the Young Master had fallen asleep due to his injuries. After about ten minutes, Sebastian slowed down to a normal human walk. Frances opened her eyes and lifted her head. They were entering the long driveway to the mansion.
"Let me down, please Sebastian. I can walk the rest of the way." She said, softly.
"Very well." Sebastian said, stopping a moment.
He kneeled down. She slid off his back, caressing his neck as her hands left him. He smirked at her as she smiled at him. They walked the long driveway side by side. The Young Master opened his eyes as they were about a quarter away from the mansion. Frances felt his fear race through him for a moment.
"Awake, my lord?" Sebastian asked him.
She felt him calm down. They saw Mey-rin and Finny run up to them.
"Young Master, welcome back." Finny said.
They both gasped, putting their hands on their cheeks, looking at the Young Master with concern and adoration.
"Master Ciel, you're hurt!" Finny exclaimed.
"I just tripped while I was out. Don't worry about it. What, you don't trust the words of the family head?" The Young Master asked.
"That's not it! It's just…" Mey-rin started.
"That looks fun! Like when you lift a baby in the air!" Finny finished.
Frances turned towards them and had to agree. They did look adorable. Like a Father carrying his son. She smiled warmly. Ciel blushed. He turned towards Sebastian who looked at him with a look of shock from their words.
"P-Put me down now!" The Young Master commanded.
Sebastian complied, recovering as he placed the Young lord on his feet. Mey-rin and Finny still looked at the Young Master with smiling faces.
"Of course, it wasn't fun! You two are…" The Young Earl started, embarrassed.
"Excuse me, Young Master." Sebastian interrupted.
The four of them turned towards the butler.
"Let's get you cleaned up and prepared for dinner." Sebastian stated.
"Fine." The Young Master stated before heading into the mansion.
Sebastian turned to Frances.
"Can you get started on dinner for me, please? We will be having Parisian style flat meat with vegetables and white rice."
"Of course, Sebastian." She said, bowing slightly.
He nodded before following the Young Master into the mansion. Frances moved past Finny and Mey-rin going into the kitchen. She washed her hands before starting on dinner. She hummed lightly as she prepared dinner. As she was nearly done, Sebastian walked in with a package. She looked at him inquiringly.
"New utensils." He explained.
She giggled, "I see."
He finished putting the utensils in the drawer before going and getting plates for everyone. When he returned, he placed the plates on the island. His arms wrapped around her waist, kissing her neck. She leaned into him before glancing up at him. She leaned up and kissed his lips. He kissed her back. She pulled away after a moment. They smiled at each other. She looked away so she could turn off everything. He released her so he could serve his Master. She served herself. Her friends came in and served themselves. They talked and laughed as usual.
After she did the dishes, she went to the Practice Room. She smiled as she gingerly picked up the violin. Unable to help herself, she placed it under her chin and began to play and sing hers and Sebastian's song.
Violin/Frances: Your eyes see but my shadow~~~
Sebastian could hear her beautiful, pure voice as he walked down the hallway. He smiled widely. He thought back to earlier that day. He saw her pleasantly shiver at his demonic voice. He saw the way her eyes lit up as she watched his darkness surround everything. Unafraid. Intrigued. Awed. The way his feathers floated around them. He saw how she reached out and grabbed one. The way her fingers gently, tenderly touched it. He heard the sigh that escaped her lips as if it was as pleasant as his touch.
*Frances, you are purely amazing.*
He made his way to the Practice Room.
Violin/Frances: my heart is overflowing~, there's so much you could come~~~ to know~~~~ (She smiled as she felt his presence. She looked up and met his reddish-brown eyes. He smiled back at her.) You're content not~ knowing~, tenderly~, you will see~ my~~ soul~~~~!
She lowered the violin and bow. He walked over to her. He caressed her cheek, looking deep into her eyes, before leaning down.
"I love you, Frances." Sebastian whispered.
Frances' eyes widened and she gasped slightly as warmth completely filled her, but before she could respond, he kissed her passionately. She closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around his neck, still holding the violin and bow in each hand as she kissed him back. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer. They kissed until she desperately needed air. He pulled away, smiling widely as she gasped for air.
"I love you, Sebastian." She said, as she got her breathing under control.
He caressed her cheek once more before glancing at the door.
"Go on. He's calling you." She said, smiling.
He looked back at her, smiling. He kissed her lips briefly before leaving the room. She smiled widely as she put the instrument away.
*I wasn't expecting him to say it so soon.* She thought happily.
She knew demons didn't love. She knew they were capable of feeling love and other emotions, she had seen it the moment she met him, however, hearing him actually say he loved her, made her feel… giddy, warm, and an immense feeling of happiness! It made her feel like singing! She hummed happily as she made her way to her room, skipping down the hallways. She worked on her oils and potions for a few hours still humming happy songs including hers and Sebastian's song.
When she finished making her oils and potions, she got ready for bed. As she sat on her bed, a feeling of something was going to happen coursed through her. A smile appeared upon her face. She waited a few minutes, staring at the door intently. Suddenly, she saw it open then close as his black blur went through it and he stood in front of her. She looked up smiling at him to see him smiling at her. He kneeled down in front of her. She placed her hands upon his cheeks. Her right hand caressed his cheek, lovingly. He leaned into her hand. Her smile widened. She leaned forward and kissed him. He kissed her back.
Suddenly, he broke the kiss, undressed her, and kissed her once again as he pushed her shoulder down. His hands roamed her body, making it sing. She wrapped one arm around his neck while her other hand went to his chest, rubbing up and down it. He pulled away, enjoying her gasp. He began kissing her neck.
"Frances." He crooned against her neck.
"Sebastian." She sighed, making a come-hither whimper.
He smiled as he continued kissing along her jaw and neck. He nibbled her ear.
"I love you, Frances." He whispered into her ear.
"I love you, Sebastian." She whispered, arching into his caress.
He smiled as he continued kissing her, making her body sing. As he continued to kiss her and his hands danced across her skin, she moved her hands from his body, placed them upon his cheeks, and pulled his face to hers, kissing him deeply and passionately. He kissed her back. They continued kissing each other, making each others' bodies sing, until she whimpered.
"S-S-Se-bas-tian."
He chuckled lightly and stopped his dancing hands.
He caressed her cheek. She looked at him with flashing eyes. He leaned to her lips.
"I love you, Frances."
She smiled as her eyes cleared.
"I love you, Sebastian." She said, softly.
They embraced each other's lips. He pulled away after thirty seconds, enjoying her breathlessness.
"Get some sleep." He whispered softly to her.
She reached up and caressed his cheek.
"Thank you, Sebastian." She whispered, her hand sliding down his cheek to her side.
She closed her eyes, smiling as she saw his reddish-brown eyes smiling at her as she drifted off to sleep.
