Soooo, yeah, been a while since I have posted anything... I do hope people like this, it popped into my head and I wanted to share it. It is probably a little rough, but I think it is ok...

Dom led his tiny child out of the house, approaching the tractor the two had been fixing.

Letty watched them, a soft smile on her face. The two missed the action, true, but the child they were raising was also important to them as well.

Little Brian had his head phones off today, listening to his father quietly explain what they were doing with the engine.

Most children that young would probably get bored easily during such an explanation, but not this child.

Both realised something was wrong early. Brian never spoke, despite Dom's quiet encouragement. He communicated in his own way, but never words.

He loved to go fast, always giggling when riding next to his father, or with Letty on her motorcycle, however sound was an issue.

Dom had taken a ride in a Tesla, grimacing slightly when he had seen it, but the ride in the car had set the child off into a flurry of tears and wails, Letty unstrapping him from his chair and cradling him close while Dom quickly stopped the car.

They figured out that despite the noise of the engine bothering him, the vibrations it made was what the child also loved.

Dom reached out to Mr Nobody, who not only helped in finding some noise cancelling headphones for the child, but also introduced the parents to a child psychiatrist.

Little Brian came away with a diagnosis of Autism.

The two parents looked into therapies for the child, both observing what the therapists did so they could replicate it at home. When one got too aggressive, Brian was immediately pulled out.

Despite it all, the child's love for engines and cars never changed. He had a knack for it, seemingly able to spot problems before even Dom.

Years later, Dom, Letty, Tej, Roman, Ramsey and Leah stood by the go-kart track, cheering Brian on as he took the lead in the race. Leah would be racing later, after her brother.

Brian would never be able to drive on the road. The track was fine, something he could manage, but would get too flustered if he were behind the wheel of a car. He also had a poor sense of direction, so his parents feared he would likely get himself lost.

Leah always told her parents that she and Brian will never split up. Family is important, and she will always look after her family.

They got to the finish line just as Brian crossed, coming first by a large margin. He got out of the cart, hands flapping in excitement as Dom crushed him in his arms, congratulating him on an excellent race.

He then stood back, letting Leah come forward to also congratulate her brother, and Dom pulled Letty into his side.

"We did good." Letty says softly, watching the two kids and their friends.

"Yeah," Dom nods, pressing a kiss to her hair, "We did."
