Hey, guys, TheMasterBlacksmith here! What better way to kick off summer vacation than a story that takes place during summer vacation? Here's a recap of the storyline for those who haven't read my first two books yet. The dates in parentheses are the approximate time over which the story takes place.
Book 1 (mid summer - early fall 2016): The Loud kids are driving to one of Lucy's poetry gatherings late at night and accidentally run over a young man named James Flint, who reveals himself to be a powerful sorcerer and an interdimensional explorer. Jim starts dating Leni and has several adventures with the family, eventually rescuing them, first from financial difficulties, then from a school shooting. After being captured and nearly terminated by a federal agent, Jim is pronounced a superhero and dubbed "the Wraith." He then leaves suddenly and unexpectedly on important business, leaving Leni with an enchanted mirror that she can use to contact him.
Book 2 (mid-April 2017): As an alternate ending to UnderratedHero's Requiem for a Loud, James Flint returns after several months to do Leni a favor. Forcibly removing Lincoln's ethereal consciousness by means of a spell, he enlists Lisa's aid in growing a clone body that's been genetically modified to not have the terminal illness. He succeeds in curing the boy and ultimately reveals his secret identity as the Wraith in the process. Meanwhile, Lynn discovers that she has pyrokinetic abilities and is claimed as Jim's apprentice.
