A quick one-shot for #Rivahisu. Nothing serious or exciting. I was planning to put this in "Longed for You" but I can't fit it in properly with the story.
For her safety, Historia was only allowed to do the Railway site visits in the presence of a bunch of MPs, and with Levi or Commander Hange around. This was only a year after the arrival of the Volunteers. She thought the developments were impressive.
One of the Engineers was giving them the site tours that were no longer related to the development and more on its attractions. The MPs were looking highly interested than ever before.
Of course, they would be happy to know there will be bars and fancy restaurants in this area. Historia smirked. She'd decided to let them be distracted and took a step back and enjoying the view instead.
"Tsk. Shame this passion never showed up during other meetings we've had before." she heard a voice from behind. A very familiar one.
Historia can't help but smile at that. She turned and of course, the Captain looked very much annoyed.
"Well, at least they've got their attention elsewhere now. It's suffocating at times with them hovering over me."
"Which one especially?" he asked. Eyes wandered from one MP to another.
Historia raised her eyebrow, eyeing the Captain suspiciously.
"Why? What are you planning on?"
Levi gave her a smirk. Cute, she thought quickly.
"Don't know, maybe a good beating?" he replied.
Historia widened her eyes, but she then saw his tiny smile and immediately knew he was not serious. But while they were on this topic..She wondered if she should tell him. He would probably think it was nothing and called her naive.
"Actually.."
"Hm?" his brows furrowed into a frown.
"Well, there is someone from the MPs… who can't seem to keep his hands to himself. It's making me a little uneasy."
"What?" Levi was livid, he looked furious at this newfound information she just spilled on him.
With no friends around and no one she's comfortable enough to talk to, she had been keeping this to herself. Besides, she has tried giving this particular person the benefit of the doubt until it happened again just the week before.
"Which one? Tell me." he asked again.
She was deeply moved by his concern but slightly worried what he might do next.
"He's not here today, luckily. He's on rotation. I managed to send him away for some delivery work." Historia bit her lip, unsure whether she should have told someone else instead. But she knew she could trust Levi more than any others.
"What did he do?"
"Well, he was quite touchy, as if I was about to fall off at any time. Putting his hands on my back and shoulder even not needed to. I'm not sure Levi, perhaps he was ju-"
"The name, Historia. I know what to do with this. How long has this been? Fuck, should have told me or Hange.."
"Its Hueber. This tall brunette. I can't simply say this to anyone, it might just be in my head."
"Hueber." he repeated. "Consider it done. Fucking MPs. I'll have a word with Nile and change up your chaperones."
"Should I be worried?" she asked.
"Nah. But right now you're not leaving my sight."
Historia did not mind that at all.
"Well, if you insist," she said. "Want to go check out the park?" pushing her luck further.
"Again? Tsk. Fine. Any other complaints or uneasiness, tell me along the way." he replied. "Thought I said you can talk to me, Historia."
Oh she knew that. His words warmth her heart still. Perhaps, I should.. test him a little.
"Just wondering, if they're showing us a tea shop next, would you still go with me?"
"Course not." he smirked.
Historia gave him a light punch on his arm as they were headed to the park, leaving the rest behind.
