So I'm going to upload some of my SasuSaku snippets here. Since some of them are probably a bit too long to be considered as a snippet anyway oops.

"Why does everyone like Itachi more than me?" A five-year-old Sasuke asked.

Mikoto blinked unsure if she heard him right.

"What are you talking about Sasuke? We love you both equally."

"Dad doesn't."

Mikoto sighed, this wasn't the first time her son questioned his father, he did spend a lot of time with Itachi.

"Sasuke, he doesn't love your brother more than you. Itachi just has responsibility being the eldest."

The young Uchiha pouted but said nothing. Giving him a comforting smile she spoke.

"But you know who does love you more than anyone else?"

His ears perked up at that.

"Who?"

"Itachi of course."

And well she wasn't wrong.

"Sometimes I hate having adorable children." Mikoto groaned, as her eldest son was currently surrounded by girls. She waited for him by the school gate with Sasuke beside her.

It was Valentine's day, the absolute worst day for her as girls would flock to their house or follow Itachi around to give him their chocolate.

Even at the age of four, he was popular.

"Um…" A small pink-haired girl grabbed their attention. She clutched the box in her hand blushing.

Her bangs were mostly covering her eyes.

"Uh, this is for you Sasuke-Kun," she bowed handing him the box.

Sasuke looked at her blankly then looked up at his mum. She in return nudged him a little to accept the gift.

Although Sasuke didn't like sweets, Mikoto didn't think it was fair for the poor girl to be rejected. Especially as it must have taken some confidence to approach.

"Uh, thanks?" He wasn't really sure how to respond.

"Thank you for helping me," and with that, she ran over to her mum. Mikoto looked at her son.

"Helping her?"

"Ah, I stopped these kids from picking on her."

A small smile formed on her face, she did raise a gentleman.

"It seems you have your first admirer."

At the age of eight, Sasuke and Sakura were more acquainted, along with a blond boy called Naruto. The three of them were at Sasuke's house, eating snacks whilst Sasuke complained to his friends.

"Everyone likes Itachi better than me, it's not fair."

"I like Sasuke-Kun."

"You're only saying that to make me feel better."

"No I'm not," Sakura, pouted.

"I like you more because you're Sasuke."

"Only because you're my friend," Sakura huffed and looked to Naruto for support.

"I don't get why that matters. The majority of them are old hags anyway."

"Naruto watch your language." Sakura scolded

"Just saying." He shrugged not seeing the big deal.

"Besides Sakura-Chan's right, we like you better."

"You can't."

"Well, why not?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah, why not?" The two looked at him waiting for an answer and when he didn't respond they both smirked satisfied.

"See," Sakura stuck her tongue out at him munching on the snacks.

Mikoto watched from afar smiling at the scene.

At the age of 14, Sakura confessed to liking a boy to her two friends.

Both Naruto and Sasuke were shocked.

"Have you told him yet?" Naruto asked.

"Uh, no?"

"Well, good because whoever he is doesn't deserve you."

Sakura just rolled her eyes at his protectiveness.

"You know I will get a boyfriend one day right?"

"He'll have to go through me first."

Sakura snuck a glance at Sasuke, there wasn't really much of a reaction which saddened her.

How is she supposed to confess to him if he didn't even care?

Time flew by and Sakura still had no courage to confess to Sasuke.

Even though they were both adults now at 22, it's embarrassing.

Once again Valentine came and Sakura decided that today would be the day.

She asked Sasuke if she could come by to which he agreed.

Now she just needed to gather her confidence.

Sasuke went to get a drink but was stopped when she grabbed a hold of his sleeve.

"Sasuke, I like you. I mean more than a friend so... will you be my Valentine's?"

Unfortunately, for her what Sakura didn't know was that Naruto was there too and had just walked in on the moment.

"Uh, should I leave?"

Sakura turned red and wanted to bolt out the door mortified. But Sasuke just grabbed her hand and intertwined them together.

Smiling lightly.

"Ah," well that was the closest she was going to get to a yes.

She smiled in return.

"Told you it was you she liked and not your brother," Naruto spoke. Sasuke threw a pillow at him.
