Hey, everybody. I'm back with another short story. Now, this was something that I came up with a couple years ago. As a fanfiction writer, I'm always thinking of new ideas for new stories of The Loud House. And when I first came up with this story, I immediately fell in love with it, and I planned on writing as soon as

I was done with "The Missing Linc". But that was of course when it was still a one-shot. Obviously, my plans changed for that story. Anyway, I figured this was the best time to write this story and not wait any longer to get this out. So without further ado, let's get into it.

Disclaimer: The Loud House is owned by Chris Savino and Nickelodeon. I own nothing.

This story begins with the baby of the family, Lily, bouncing a ball around in the kitchen, all while trying to catch it. Keyword: trying, as she hasn't learned how to catch yet. After a while of struggling to catch it, Lily accidentally bounced the ball away from the kitchen and into the dining room. Lily goes to retrieve the ball, but as soon as she does, she looks to her right and finds her big brother Linconl sitting on the couch, staring down at some sort of picture, and looking sad. Naturally, this raised the baby's concern. Lily walks over to the couch, and at this point, Lincoln notices her at the corner of his eye.

"Oh, hey Lily." Lincoln said before turning his attention back to the piece of paper

"Wincoln, sad?" Lily asked.

"Huh? Oh, it's nothing." Lincoln said as he set the picture aside. "It's just, the other day, I went to the city to hang out with Ronnie Anne for the day while Mom went to her conference." Lincoln showed Lily a picture of him and Ronnie Anne that her Tia Frida took during his short time over there.

"I got to show Ronnie Anne and her family this neat magic trick I was planning to do at the school's talent show." Lincoln averted his gaze back to the picture. "But that was a couple days ago. And I guess… I guess I still miss her." Lincoln said with a low voice.

Lily felt really bad for her big brother. Even though she is a baby, Lily was still able to understand how Lincoln was feeling. She wanted to find a way to make him feel better, in any way she knew how.

After feeling a sudden tug at his pant leg, Lincoln looked down and saw Lily reaching her arms up at him. Lincoln could instantly tell what his baby sister was asking for, which was enough to make him smile. After setting the picture down on the coffee table, Lincoln pulled his baby sister up by her arms, and as soon as he did, Lily wrapped her tiny arms around her brother's neck and gave him a squeeze. As expected, the hug was enough to lift Lincoln's spirits up.

"Awww, I love you too, Lily." Lincoln said as he returned the hug. After breaking up the hug, Lincoln held Lily in front of him.

"Thank you, Lily. You really cheered me up." Linc said. He then planted a kiss on Lily's nose, which caused her to giggle. Before Lincoln knew it, Lily grabbed him by his cheeks and planted a kiss on his nose, which was enough to make him giggle as well.

"Awww Lily, you're the sweetest!" Lincoln said. Just then, Lily grabbed Lincoln's face and started squeezing his cheeks. She then let go of Lincoln's face, only to squeeze his cheeks once again. She continued squeezing his face repeatedly, all the while laughing at how her brother's face looked in the process.

"Wincoln cute. Wincoln cute."

"I'm not cute, Lily. You're cute." Lincoln said, chuckling. Lily continued playing with Lincoln's face all while laughing and repeating "Wincoln cute" over and over. Since Lily wasn't letting him get a word in, all Lincoln could do was smile and chuckle a bit at Lily squeezing his face. After a few minutes, Lily decided to give Lincoln a break and stop squeezing his face. Lincoln let out one more chuckle before lowering Lily onto his lap.

"Hey, you wanna watch some TV, Lily?" Lincoln asked. Lily clapped her hands at the idea.

After reaching for the TV remote, Lincoln scrolled down to the kids section on the TV guide.

"So what do you want to watch, Lily? 'Bill the Builder', 'The Squiggles', 'Blarney the Dinosaur'?" Lily immediately cheered when she saw that "Blarney" was on. Without needing to be told twice, Lincoln turned the show on.

The next 30 minutes, Lincoln and Lily spent watching "Blarney". Lincoln watched with joy as his baby sister laughed, sing, clapped, and overall was enjoying herself, along with her favorite show. Soon enough, Lincoln turned his head towards the "viewers/readers"

"The joy of being a big brother." He said before turning his head back to Lily, who continued to watch with excitement.

The End.

A/N: There you have it, and I hope you all enjoyed it. Now, as you can expect, this story takes place after The Casagrandes episode "The Horror Scope", which was one of my favorites. Now, earlier this year, I made a promise that I would be more active on this site. Unfortunately, I have not fulfilled my promise as much as I would like to. I am really sorry about that. I can make all the excuses I want, but it's not gonna bring back the months I planned to release the third chapter of my fanfic, only to let them pass. I'll just say it, I am a horrible writer for not being consistent, or at least not as good as I wanted to be. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed, and hopefully I'll see you soon.
