Chapter one

I died.

In a stupid way of course! By drowning.

It was a normal bright sunny day. My friends invited me to the beach to swim since it was really hot outside. I obviously said yes, completely oblivious that I would die that day.

What was the saying? People are calm before death or something? I don't know.

I was just planning on staying on the sand and get a nice tan or something and not go anywhere near the water. Did I mention I didn't know how to swim.

One of my friends asked if I was scared of water because they noticed I didn't want to swim. My stupid pride had got in the way and I went out really deep in the water in order to prove that no, I wasn't scared of water.

It was really windy that day so the waves were massive.

You can guess what happens after that.

I died at the age of 13

'Note to self: learn to swim in next life, if I have one.' Was the last thing I thought.

I now find myself in this black void.

Where am I? Did I die? Am I in a coma?! Did my family pull the plug? What about Mom and Dad? What about my older brother?

Deep down inside I knew the answer. I just didn't want to believe it.

The five stages of grief are:

Denial

Anger

Bargaining

Depression

Acceptance

I knew that my family knew that I loved them with all my being. There was just so many things I haven't done.

It felt like I'd been the the void for forever. It wasn't bad. It felt warm and safe. It felt lonely.

After a -insert amount of time here- the void started getting smaller and uncomfortable. It felt like I was being crushed.

I'm gonna skip the part where I was born. I don't want to describe it, and you probably don't want to here my experience anyway.

It was gross, to be blunt.

There was cold air and it hurt but I wasn't going to cry. That's embarrassing. There was bright light and loud noises everywhere and these giants were passing me around.

'What the frick is going on? Stop passing me around! It feels so dizzy.'

Finally they stopped passing me around.

I looked up and saw yellow and green. The giant cooed at me and stroked my hair.

"Kanojo wa kireida." (I just used google translate lol)

Then there was a blurry pink blob in my vision.

"Kore wa watashi no imōtodesu ka?"

"Hai, kanojo no namae wa Haruno Sayuridesu."

'Wtf?!'
