A/N: This is a sequel to Pushing Daises. You can technically read this one without reading the first story but this story would make more sense if you did read the first. Anyway I hope you like it!
"Sam," Tucker said as he rang Vlad Masters' doorbell. "Can you at least try to be nice?"
Sam huffed and crossed her arms. "Who said I wasn't going to be?"
Tucker rolled his eyes. "Yeah, okay."
Sam and Danny had barely talked since Danny moved to New Salem. Tucker gets why she's mad. Danny lied and kept stuff from them but really it's been months. Tucker hoped he didn't have to spend his summer in New Salem being the mediator.
The door opened revealing a smiling Danny. "Hey guys come on in!" he said.
Tucker gawked at the Green Bay Packers decor. "You weren't joking Danny. This is insane."
Danny shook his head. "Vlad is...obsessive."
"Must you always insult me Daniel?" Vlad said as he walked into the foyer.
Danny shrugged. "It's not an insult if it's the truth."
Vlad rolled his eyes. "Sam, Tucker it's so nice to meet you both." he said. "I'm so happy that you'll be spending time here."
Sam snorted. "You don't sound all that happy."
"Vlad," Danny said as he pushed Vlad away from them. "You've done your dad quota for today, you can go now."
"Alright. No touching the collectibles!" Vlad told them as he left.
"So where is all the monster stuff?" Tucker asked.
"You sure you want to see it? It's not for the faint of heart." Danny said.
"Hell yes I'm sure!"
"Okay, don't say I didn't warn you."

Tucker swallowed back the bile that had crawled up his throat. Danny had taken them to the Maul and Tucker's pretty sure he was going to have nightmares for the foreseeable future. Were the drinks at Gore-me King really human gore? He gripped his dead roast coffee tight. At least the Coffin Bean was somewhat on the sane side.
"You okay Tuck?" Danny asked.
Tucker nodded and forced a grin. "I'm great Danny!"
Danny sipped his drink. "Okay…"
"Hey Danny!" said a blue girl as she walked toward their table. "And Danny's friends." she said as she sat down.
Danny grinned. "Guys this is my ghoulfriend Honey."
Tucker side-eyed Sam. She had been crushing on Danny for months. This had to hurt. Tucker smiled. "It's nice to meet you Honey."
Sam smiled wide. "Yes. It's so good to meet you."
"Nice to meet y'all too! So how are y'all likin' things so far?" Honey asked.
"It's crazy," Tucker replied.
Honey laughed. "It takes some gettin' used to when you're a normie."
From there they talked about surprisingly normal teenage things. But Honey and Danny kept saying completely made up words. Like what the hell was a boovie, biteology, and back to skull? Tucker shook his head and glanced around the shop. He seriously couldn't believe something like this was hiding in plain sight.
Tucker furrowed his brow. There was some girl staring at him a few tables down and for some reason he couldn't take his eyes off her. There was just something about her that called to him. It almost felt familiar. He stood up and walked over to her table. He thought he heard Sam and Danny call his name but it didn't matter because she was here.
"Hey, the name's Tucker Foley."
The girl smiled and tossed her hair. "Nefera De Nile."
He grinned. "Do you want to hang out?"
"Sure," Nefera said as she stood. "I know just the place."
They linked their arms together and they walked out of the Coffin Bean.
Eyes only on each other.

Tucker looked around in awe at the opulent Egyptian decor that filled Nefera's home."This place is amazing," he said as she led him through the halls.
"Yes, it is and I have something even more amazing to show you." she said as they walked into a room filled with treasure. She retrieved a golden scepter and held it out to him. "This is the Scarab Scepter. Take it. It was yours once upon a time."
He scrutinized the scepter. "What do you mean it was mine?"
"I'll tell you everything after you take it." she said, pushing it toward him. "Trust me."
And for some crazy reason he felt like he could so he took the scepter from her hands and as soon as he did his body felt like it was on fire. He screamed out as images flashed rapidly in his mind and then all he saw was black.
When he came to, he was lying on soft silk sheets in a bedroom. He sat up and put a hand to his head. His hat was gone? He looked down at his body. His clothes were different too; it was Egyptian clothing but with a modern take. He even had wrappings around his arms.
"What the hell?" he whispered. "Where's Nefera?" As if on cue she walked in.
"Tucker, you're awake!" she said.
"What happened?"
"You took the scepter, remember?"
"Yeah but what about all this." he said waving to his new clothes.
"You were seriously in need of a new wardrobe so I gave you one." She pouted. "Do you not like it?"
"Nah, it's fine. I was just confused."
She beamed. "Oh good! Anyway you probably have a lot of questions. But before you ask, let me tell you everything first."
She told him that he was the reincarnation of her boyfriend Pharaoh Duul Aman. He placed a spell on the Scarab Scepter that would transform him into a mummy so he could spend his life forever with Nefera without the threat of death. But before he could be transformed he had tragically been murdered by a trusted friend. With his last dying breath he wished he could be reincarnated to be with Nefera again.
Nefera took the scepter and waited thousands of years in hopes that Duul Aman's dying wish would come true. "And it did!" she said.
Tucker's heart raced. "I'm a mummy now?!"
"Uh, yeah."
"My parents are going to kill me!" he cried. "What am I going to do?!"
"Tucker, your parents no longer matter. From now on you live here with me."
"But I live in Amity!"
"Not anymore you don't!" she said. "Now come with me, it's time for you to meet my family."
He was about to protest but instead he sighed. There was no point in fighting this right now. Resigned to his fate he followed her out the room.

Tucker tried to ignore the daggers that Cleo was sending him from across the table. For some reason she hated him or at least he thought she did. She hadn't said a word to him when Nefera introduced them.
"I was hoping you'd never be reincarnated." Cleo sneered, stabbing her knife hard into her steak. "You better watch your back!"
Tucker gulped. Yup, she definitely hated him.
"Cleo, please be civil. He is your future brother-in-law." Ramses said, giving Cleo a pointed look.
"What?!" Tucker shrieked.
"We were engaged in the past." Nefera said between bites of her food.
"Oh, I can't wait for the wedding," Dedyet gushed. "And then grandbabies!"
Tucker paled. "Babies?!"
"Of course," Nefera said. "We're having at least two."
"But I'm 15!"
Nefera shrugged. "So?"
Tucker bit back a string of curses and stuffed food into his mouth so he wouldn't say anything he would regret.
Why in the hell did he take that goddamn scepter?!
xxxx
Tucker laid on the bed and stared up at the opulent ceiling. He was so glad dinner was over. Nefera and her parents kept talking about the future wedding and the future kids. He couldn't believe what was happening to him. Did the scepter trap him in a nightmare?
A knock sounded at the door breaking him from his thoughts. It was the middle of the night. Why was someone knocking? Just as he was about to get up to see who it was the door opened revealing Nefera. "Tucker," she whispered as she walked in. "You awake?"
He sighed. "Yeah, I am. What are you doing here so late?"
She smiled, got on the bed, and crawled on top of him. "Babies don't make themselves." She said softly before pressing her lips against his.
His heart raced as she kissed him. This was not happening. No fucking way. He pushed her off him. "I'm not doing this Nefera!"
She huffed. "Why not?!"
He bit his lip. It was clear that she didn't care what he thought about having kids so he couldn't tell the truth. "I'm just tired," he said. "Getting turned into a mummy took a lot out of me."
She sighed and got off the bed. "Fine, goodnight Tucker." she said as she left the room.
Tucker breathed a sigh of relief. He was safe for now but how much longer would she take no for an answer? An image of him with crying babies flashed in his mind. No, that was not going to happen! He needed help. First thing tomorrow he was going to see Danny. Hopefully Danny knew what to do.
xxxx
Tucker wrung his hands together while he waited outside of Vlad's mansion. What was taking Danny so long? It had been like a whole 5 minutes since Tucker rang the bell!
He was about to ring it again then Danny finally answered the door. "Oh thank Ra!" Tucker cried as he rushed in. "Danny, I don't know what to do! I fucked up! I am so fucking screwed! I don't–"
"Tucker calm down and tell me what happened!" Danny said.
And so Tucker did.
Danny's jaw dropped. "Dude, what the fuck?!"
"I know! What am I going to do?!"
"Honestly Tuck I don't think you can do anything."
Tucker's heart sank. "What?!"
"The De Niles are crazy and they get what they want no matter what."
"What about my parents?"
"I can't believe I'm saying this..." Danny said. "You should just tell them."
Tucker groaned. "My life is over!" He dragged himself to the living room, slumped onto the couch and video called his parents. "Mom, Dad...I need to tell you something." he said when they answered.
He told them everything and when he was done his parents were absolutely shocked.
"Tucker…" Maurice said. "If this is a joke it's not funny."
Tucker shook his head. "I wish it was, trust me, it's not!"
Angela huffed. "Tucker, you can't let this girl walk all over you!"
"I'm not trying to, she just is!"
Angela shook her head. "No you're letting her! I don't care that she's some mummy princess or that you two were engaged in the past! It is the 21st century and if she wants to be with you then she's going to have to respect you!"
Maurice frowned. "Do you even want to date her, Tucker?"
Did he? There must have been something there between them if he fell for her in the past and those past feelings are what drew him to her now. "Yeah, I do. It's just I don't want to get married or have kids at least not now!"
"Then you need to tell her that." Maurice said.
Tucker sighed. "Alright…"
xxxx
Tucker steeled his nerves as he stood outside Nefera's room. His parents were right he couldn't let Nefera boss him around. Either she would listen to him or there would be no future for them. He went into the room. "Nefera, we need to talk."
She narrowed her eyes. "What about?" she asked as she walked toward him.
"Everything!"
She scowled. "What do you mean everything?"
"I can't do what you want me to do Nefera!" he cried. "We just met!"
She opened her mouth to protest but he cut her off. "And yeah we had a past together but I'm not Duul Aman! I'm Tucker Foley, a 15 year old techno geek from Amity Park!"
"So you don't want to be with me, is that it?!"
"No, I want to be with you!" he screamed. "I just want you to listen to me! It's way too early to get married, have kids, and move away from home! I have a life and I want you to respect that!"
She huffed. "Fine!"
"Wait what?"
She rolled her eyes. "If you don't want to get married and have kids right away I suppose I can wait. But we're going to have to figure out the living situation because I do not do long distance."
Was it really that easy? He thought he would have walked out of here either single or in a body bag. But the living situation was now the last problem...he was a mummy now. It would make more sense for him to live in New Salem and Danny lived here too so Tucker wouldn't be friendless. "I guess I can ask my parents if I can move here."
"Ooh! Call them now!"
He pulled out his phone, and video called his parents. Nefera swiped the phone when his parents came on screen. "Hello, I'm Nefera! Your future daughter-in-law. It's so nice to meet you!"
Tucker rolled his eyes and took the phone back. "Hey, so we talked."
Angela raised an eyebrow. "It seems like it went well?"
"Yeah, but, don't be mad!" Tucker rushed out. "I want to stay here in New Salem."
"Tucker!" Maurice said. "You are 15 years old, you are not moving away!"
"But Dad!" Tucker said. "I'm a 15 year old mummy! Amity isn't the place for me, New Salem is!"
"Where would you even live?" Angela asked.
"With me and my family of course." Nefera said as she nabbed the phone again. "If you want you can move here too. You are my future in-laws after all."
Tucker scowled and snatched the phone back.
Angela sighed. "Is this really what you want Tucker?"
"Yes. It is."
Maurice pursed his lips. "What about school?"
"I can go to Monster High."
Maurice sighed and shook his head. "Alright Tucker you can stay but we want weekly calls. Do you understand?"
"Understood."
Nefera squealed after Tucker hung up the phone. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him in for a fierce kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist as he deepened it. They broke apart after a few moments gazing into each other's eyes.
"Nefera," he murmured against her lips. "You're going to be the death of me."
