Chapter 1 – The Mysterious Night
It was a rainy night. He pulled away the knife from the corpse. The knife was covered in blood. He pushed the corpse into the pool. It submerged, and the pool turned red. He became frightened upon seeing the pool; a scene where someone is brutally stabbed in his stomach using a knife played inside his mind. This made him gasp and he fainted immediately.
Monty hurriedly ran towards Zach's house, soaking wet, as he had received an emergency text from his brother Mike. He looked for his brother inside the house, only to find a devastating scene beside the pool.
The thunder lashed in, making roaring sounds. A corpse was inside the blood-covered pool. Mike was lying down next to the pool, naked and covered in bruises. And there was a blood-stained knife in Mike's hand.
Monty looked at his phone; it was 3:30 in the morning. After seeing the horrible scene, he sighed saying, "What a violent night." He took a picture of fainted Mike. He removed his jacket and went towards Mike. He lifted him, loosely wrapped his jacket around his body, and carried him inside.
Monty took Mike inside to a bedroom and laid him down. He unwrapped his jacket and took another picture of him. He flipped him over and took another picture of him. He then removed a piece of log that was sticking inside his butt. Upon removing it, blood gushed out. The part of the log that went inside him had bloodstains. Mike was assaulted.
Monty thought to himself, "Oh my god! This is not good. My poor Mikey was assaulted by someone. He is covered in bruises and even had a log inside him. But one thing I don't understand is that why was he holding a knife and why is there a dead body inside the pool? Did Mikey kill the guy who assaulted him? Oh dear, I have to call Zach right now."
He tried to call his best friend Zach, who was at his girlfriend's birthday party, but he wasn't picking up. "Maybe he got drunk and slept in his girlfriend's house because it's late at night right now. Alrighty then, anyways he has to come back here tomorrow morning, I'll talk to him then.", thought Monty who was still shocked about what had happened. He loved Mike very much and was willing to protect him at all costs. He didn't want Mike to go to jail on charges of murder. He yawned, realizing that he needed to sleep, and he then slept next to Mike, holding him tight.
