Prolouge— Welcome to Hell!
It starts off small. Barely noticeable, even.
In fact, it starts off as many other parasites that ever ceased to exist on planet Earth.
People being affected by it simply brushed it off, accusing the symptoms as 'common cold' and whatnot. They don't bother to get a further check-ups at any nearby clinics or hospital and simply let the sickness 'heal on their own', convinced by their own speculation.
If only they knew, that is not the case.
The first monster, now publicly dubbed as 'Devils' for its horrific mutation and origin, appeared in Musutafu, Japan. The man, Hori Kansei, was a rather relatively normal man if it weren't for the fact he had just consumed his own mother and sister.
The said man was a convenient store cashier when he noticed his health has been declining. However, he refused to get any sorts of treatment in fear the bills might be stacking up, thus neglecting his health altogether.
For days had passed, his health begins to deteriorates even worse, causing him to eventually lose his job. Consumed by depression over his own failure in maintaining his family financially, he had shut the whole world out.
He was angered that no one helped his family, and that was, unfortunately, the last thing he had felt before he was thoroughly eaten by the parasite that resided within him.
2 weeks later, it was known that Hori Kansei, or rather, formerly known as Hori Kansei, had murdered his entire family through horrific caninbalism before exploding out of fulfilled desire.
His family gone, therefore he has nothing to worry about.
Fortunately, Hori Kansei isn't here anymore to witness of what he has commited.
Unfortunately, Hori Kansei isn't here anymore to control said parasite.
A group of brilliant scientist and investigators has been assembled in trying to decipher these creatures; most popular speculation being this is the God's way of punishing human kind, sending the devils from hell to make humans miserable. Although many was reluctant to agree, there isn't much Science that could explain the formation of these parasites and how they are able to mutate one's form.
They killed their host by somehow fulfilling their deepest desire before mutating into what they desired to look like.
They are monsters. Parasites. Demons.
Devils.
People feared for their lives and loved ones, for these parasites worked as viruses; they strike whoever they wished, and by the time it was taken into account, it was simply too late.
Many has went through the trouble by using various of methods in trying to kill these things. Ignition, dismembering, hanging... Everything has been tried with fruitless results.
Once the person has been affected, they are as good as dead.
That was untill an organisation were formed under one mutual goal; to eliminate these devils and to protect the public.

The said corporation has been going long since the birth of Devils, now running smoothly for their effieciency in eliminating the parasites. While it was still shrouded mystery as of how they actually manage to kill, it didn't aroused questions from the publicity.
They did their job, and there's that.
However, the same thing cannot be said to the publicity, for these hunters are not always there...
