"Hey Jack" Tim says as he comes into the kitchen with some papers in his hand as Jack is standing over by the oven cooking something in a pan

"What did you find out?" Jack as he turns around to look at Tim as he sits down at the table as he continues looking at the paper

"They have the court date set for next week" Tim says as he looks at him "Can't wait to get this guy where he belongs"

"I'm with you" Jack says as he walks over to where Tim is sitting "It's been a hard few months on us all" he says continuing "Especially on Lyndy, she still ask me everyday about them"

"And something tells me that it is going to get harder before it gets better" Tim says looking at him as he takes a breath before continuing "Is Lilly still supposed to be coming today?"

"She called me a little while ago from the road" Jack says looking at him "She was about a couple hours away still"

"So, what is the plan when she gets here?" Tim says as he looks at him "Where is she planning on staying at?"

"She's going to stay in the apartment in the barn loft since Georgie moved into the apartment with her little friends from school" Jack says as he looks at her "You know it's been especially hard on her, not getting to be here helping us" he says continuing "And it will be really good for Lyndy to see her too" he says walking back towards the stove "And plus she wants to see this guy go to jail as much as we do"

"For all that he took from us he deserves more than just jail" Tim says as Jack turns around looking at him "I still can't help but think to myself what if they had never been on that road that night" he says continuing "What if they had never gone to that horse sale"

"I've been thinking a lot about that too" Jack says looking at him "But we couldn't stop them either, they were determined to go" he says continuing

"GG" Lyndy says as she runs into the kitchen as she see's Tim sitting at the table "Grandpa!"

"Hey Sweetheart" Tim says picking up his youngest granddaughter in his arms "Are you all ready for your dance lesson?" he says looking at her outfit

"Yea" Lyndy says as Tim sits her in a chair at the table as Jack walks over to the table carrying a plate of food

"But first you need to eat your breakfast" Jack says sitting the plate in front of her as she takes a bit of her eggs as a car pulls up outside "Uh oh, you better hurry up eating someone is here to see you" he continues as Tim gets up joining him at the window as they see Lilly as she parks her car

"She must have broken new speed records between there and here" Tim says as the door opens as Lilly comes through door as Lyndy turns around

"Granny" Lyndy says as she jumps down off the chair running over to Lilly

"Oh" Lilly says as she lifts her up into her arms "There's my favorite girl" she says continuing to hold her

"Did you finish all of your breakfast?" Jack says as he looks at her as he walks over toward the table

"Yes GG" Lyndy says as Lilly comes over to the table with her as Tim washes off the plates in the sink

"Well, we better be getting you to your dance lesson" Tim says coming over as he gets ready to take Lyndy from Lilly

"I want Granny to take me to dance" Lyndy says looking at him with a determined look

"Well Granny just got here she might want to rest" Jack says as he looks at the little girl still giving them a look

"Actually, I would love to take you to your dance lesson" Lilly says as Lyndy smiles at her "Why don't you go get your things and we'll head out" she says as she puts Lyndy down as she runs into the other room for her bag

"It's good to have you here" Jack says as he walks over giving her a hug

"It feels good to be here" Lilly says as she looks at him "Especially with everything that has happened over these last couple months"

Later that evening Lilly and Jack are sitting by the fire as Lilly takes a sip of tea as they look at it

"Lilly" Jack says as he looks over at her "How have you really been doing since the accident happened?"

"Been trying to put on a brave face" Lilly says looking at him "And trying to stay strong but it's been really hard"

"I know what you mean" Tim says as he and Lou walk back into the room "On the outside I've been strong but on the inside I've been ready to fall apart" he says looking at them "As a parent, you never want to have to bury your own child"

"And when they have so much life ahead of them" Lilly says wiping a tear away from her eye "I just wish it could go back to the way that it was before"

"I don't think it will ever be that way again" Jack says looking at them "But I think the best thing we can do is focus on now and what needs to be done"

"So, who is going to the hospital tomorrow?" Lou says as she turns to look at them

"I'll go" Lilly says as she turns to look at them "I want to do something to help"

"You being here is going to help" Jack says he looks at her "He's going to need all of us when he gets home"
