"Hey! You!"

A Koopa Troopa servant turned to face the voice of Bowser. "Yes, sir?"

"I'm curious about that plumber's powerups. What would they do if, for instance, I tried them? Get me some."

"Okay…"

The Koopa Troopa, whose name was Albert, rushed into Bowser's throne room. "I'm back, with some powerups!"

"Huh?"

Albert facepalmed. Jeez, why can't he remember anything? He can be a bit small-brained sometimes… "The powerups you told me to get this morning."

"OH, those." Bowser laughed, but his laughter stopped when he looked in the bag. "Rather small…"

"I'm sorry, we could only find three powerups. Here's the first one." He tossed a red and white mushroom to Bowser.

"Hm… isn't this something we use in kart racing?"

"Yes, but usually, it makes Mario taller."

"Cool!" He ate it, and—

"Your Evilness, maybe you should step away from the throne?"

—it was too late. Bowser grew just over twice his size, causing his throne to be crushed.

"You could have warned me earlier…" Bowser said, looking at the remains of the throne.

Albert facepalmed again.

"Anyway, this is SO COOL! Usually I'm twice the size of Mario, now I'm…" He hesitated. "Even taller than that!"

AN: The Super Mushroom makes Mario taller, but the proportions of Bowser are the same, almost like Kamek put a grow spell on him.

"You might want to step outside for this next one… it's the fire flower."

"Why?"

"Your throne room is made partially of wood! Do you really want more stuff to be destroyed?"

Bowser grumbled and moved outside.

After taking away the powerup (Albert was slightly versed with magic), he gave Bowser the fire flower.

"So how do I work this thing?" he asked.

Albert replied with, "Just eat it."

"Eat it?! Of course not! It's a flower!"

"Just do it," Albert sighed.

Bowser ate it. His shell, Albert noticed, turned red, although nothing else seemed to be changed.

"What's up with this one?" Bowser asked.

"I-I don't know—"

"It doesn't work! Get me the other—" Bowser started choking.

"Oh no!" Albert raced to help the king. Suddenly, he stopped choking and instead started screaming.

"Ah! Ooh! Hot!" Bowser opened his mouth, and shot a fireball. However, the cause of his pain was evident in that he shot 3 fireballs, not just one. Bowser sighed in relief.

AN: The fire flower makes Bowser's fireballs triple! It also has the side effect of making his shell red.

Albert used the powerup release spell on him once more. "Alright, now for the last one: the Super Star."

"Please don't tell me I have to eat it, it looks pointy," Bowser whined.

"Don't worry, you only have to touch it."

"But you're touching it!"

"I'm wearing nonreactive gloves that won't change me into whatever the powerups do."

Hesitantly, Bowser reached out for the star. Suddenly, he started glowing every color in the rainbow. "Woah, so cool…" However, after a second, he he muttered, "Getting… dizzy…" He then fainted.

AN: With Mario, the Star kills any Koopa that comes in contact with him. Since Bowser is a Koopa, he isn't killed by using it, but faints, and becomes unconscious indefinitely if left for an extended time.

Albert casted the spell again, and Bowser stopped glowing, and woke up. "Well?" he asked.

"I'm so sorry, I had no idea that would hap—"

"What are you talking about? I'm not mad about that! Get me more!"

"M-More?"

"Yes! I want more!"

Albert sighed. "Okay…"
