It was late in the afternoon with the sun starting to go down, its glow landed on two figures in a forest. One of the figures was a blond male that looked to be around nineteen or twenty. He had slanted blue eyes and long golden blonde hair which he wore in a half ponytail. The most significant thing about his hair was the bang that hangs over his left eye. His clothing consisted of a grey blue jacket with a fishnet shirt underneath and grey blue pants. What stood out the most though were the two mouths on his hands.

This man was Deidara, the S-rank Missing Nin and a member of the Akatsuki, a mercenary group that had some of the strongest shinobi alive. Deidara was also a former shinobi of the Hidden stone and is a self proclaimed artist.

The figure across from him was a raven haired teenager that looked to be around fifteen or sixteen. He wore a pair of dark blue pants with a blue cloth tied to his waist by a purple rope belt. His dark black eyes convey an emotionless tone as he was looking at the beaten Akatsuki member in front of him.

The teenager's name was Sasuke Uchiha, one of the last two living Uchiha in the Elemental Nations and former shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village. He left his village two and a half years ago when he went to Orochimaru for power.

These two shinobi had engaged in a fierce battle with Sasuke gaining the edge after using Lightning Style to deactivate his Clay Bombs. This battle took a lot out of Sasuke and Deidara with the former having to use the Chidori multiple times as well as the Curse Mark and the latter having to use nearly all it C-variants. As Deidara stared into Sasuke's emotionless eyes, he couldn't help but remember his look. It drove him crazy to the point that he started laughing?

"That look is what annoys me the most about you and your brother, you think you're so much better than me! It's those eyes, those overconfident eyes of yours make me so sick! Your eyes judging me and my art, that's why I can never forgive those eyes of yours. I can tell you have no respect for my skills, art or even me. I CAN NEVER FORGIVE THOSE EYES THAT JUST IGNORE MY ART!" Deidara shouted angrily towards Sasuke.

Sasuke just stared back at him with those emotionless eyes." I couldn't care less for all of that, I just want you to tell me where I can find Itachi," he replied as he retracted his Sharingan.

"So you deactivated your Sharingan, do you really take me that lightly, do you even acknowledge my skills!" Deidara exclaimed. 'I guess I have to use that technique then'. He then proceeded to tear off his shirt and brought his left hand up to his chest, to which the mouth started to take the stitches off. The next action he did was bringing his right hand down into his pouch and grabbing large lump of clay.

'What's he doing now, can't he see that he's already lost to me?' Sasuke thought while trying to figure out what Deidara is doing. What shocked him next was the fact that Deidara put a large amount of clay into the mouth of his chest. 'Is he trying to turn himself into a bomb?' Sasuke thought worriedly.

"This is my ultimate art. This time I'm going to detonate myself" said Deidara with a crazed look in his eyes

'He's insane' thought the Uchiha. 'Damn it, if I can't think of something quick, I'll die with him.'

"In death I'll become art itself. No one's seen an explosion like this, one that shall leave a scar on the very Earth itself and then I'll receive more admiration for my art that I finally deserve! While I will be remembered and acknowledged for my art, you'll most certainly be DEAD! Forgotten This explosion will cover ten kilometers, you can't run away from this one. TREMBLE, RECOIL IN DESPAIR, COWER IN AWE... BECAUSE MY ART... IS AN EXPLOSION!" Deidara shouted with no fear whatsoever. A huge explosion went off destroying everything within ten kilometers resulting in the death of The Mad Bomber. 'I guess this is it. Hmpf Master Sasori was right, I was the type to die young hehehe... Tch, that Uchiha brat better be dead, I really hate people like him!

Unexpectedly, Deidara's soul continued to linger on. For what reason, he didn't know. His gut feeling told him that this wasn't the afterlife. The Mad Bomber couldn't see anything; he only felt nothing. 'Why do I feel so empty... Did I really want to die? Who am I kidding this was the only chance I had to prove my worth to HIM, TO THEM, AND THE WHOLE WORLD. But... is this what my mom would want?

Flashback

"And here's you child Kiyomi" told the Doctor. The doctor gave her a wide smile. It's rare these days for ninja to give birth as the lifespan of a shinobi tend to be very low. "He's a healthy boy with a bright future as a shinobi as well."

"Thank you." replied Kiyomi happily. She's always wanted a child ever since she was little. It became even more difficult once she became a kunoichi. She was brought out of her thoughts when suddenly the baby started crying. "Hmm, what should I name you little one? How about Deidara, yeah yeah, that's a beautiful name. Tenshi don't you want to see our child?"

"So this is him, I'll make sure he becomes a splendid shinobi when he grows up so that he won't sully our name." said Tenshi emotionlessly. Unknown to Kiyomi, the only reason he even wanted a child was to carry on his legacy. Tenshi was one of the greatest shinobi in the Stone. With his genes and Kiyomi's genes, the child would be strong to even gain the title of Kage.

Kiyomi frowned at that, "Tenshi, his name is Deidara and I want him to have a normal childhood. I don't want to force him into our world." Tenshi's response to this was to walk off. He couldn't care what she wanted.

She sighed at his attitude; she wondered why she even ended up with him in the first place. It was just one of her many mistakes in her life. Her blue eyes landed on her child, and she smiled. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you have a happy childhood Deidara..."

Deidara at the age of 5

Deidara was a happy child inheriting most of his looks from his mother. He spent most of his time either playing with his mom or creating clay sculptures to which his mom would praise him and call him an artist for.

"Mom! Mom! Look! I made a little bird, isn't it amazing!" He gave her one of the most beautiful smiles she had ever seen.

"Your artwork never ceases to amaze me, but do you know what's even more amazing?" Deidara cutely tilted his head showing that he didn't understand the question.

Her look softened and she pointed at him. "You!"

Kiyomi poked him playfully and started to tickle him. "Mom, I think you are amazing too!"

Deidara laid on his stomach clearly enjoying the time with his mother. Her mother picked up his clay bird and placed it in between Deidara and her and ask Deidara something. "Do you know what the greatest artwork is?"

Deidara shook his head and stared curiously with wide eyes at her. "I might not be an artist like you, but I've seen many different artworks before. One day, I want you to figure out what your meaning of art is and create something truly special."

Kiyomi gave a smile to Deidara showing that she believed in him. Eager to figure out what his mother meant by that, he went inside to create something else. When he left, Kiyomi looked down at her hand only to see a little blood on it.

Deidara at the age of 7

He started going to the Academy one year ago thanks to his mom. That was where he was taught the history of the Hidden Stone, Jutsu, and Chakra. Even though he went to the academy, he was always made fun of due to his girly looks, it annoyed him to no end. He thought his time would be better used creating his clay sculptures or helping his mother Kiyomi around the house. Although, he hated to admit that being a shinobi was pretty cool, maybe he could be an Artistic Shinobi, yeah yeah, that would work. On the way home, he thought about how his mom divorced his dad. It made him wonder, why? When he arrived home, he came to see a sight that he changed him. On the floor was his mother clutching her chest as if in pain.

"MOM MOM, what happened?" cried Deidara as tears rolled down his face.

"Deidara, my precious little artist. I'm sorry to tell you, but you're mom doesn't have much time left. A year ago I went to the doctor an found out that I had an incurable lung disease. I refused to tell you, because I loved you so much that it hurt me to realize that I may never see you ever again. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry my baby, all I wanted for you was happiness not fear." Suddenly Kiyomi coughed up blood. "Deidara I want to teach you some things before I leave this world."

"But I don't want you to leave, you're the only person that loves me, please don't mom," cried Deidara as he held onto his mother. " Who's gonna call me their precious little artist, who's gonna cook for me everyday, who's gonna show me love? PLEASE TELL ME"

"My little artist, listen closely as I'll tell you what I call 10 acts of Creativity, C1, always enjoy your art because it's something truly spectacular.C2, try to live your life to the fullest by doing things that make you happy. C3, move on, don't get stuck on my death, because I'll always be with you no matter what. C4 make friends that care for you just as much as I did for you. C5, always look for things to improve, because nothing is ever perfect. C6, follow your dreams all the way even if they seem impossible. C7, never seek revenge, because that will only cause you more harm. C8, never get cocky or arrogant, because it never amounts to greatness. C9, try to help others even if it doesn't help you. And lastly C10, never give up, after all, a masterpiece is needs to be completed right?" spoke Kiyomi with a smile.

At this point Deidara was bawling his eyes out "I Love You So Much"

"Goodbye, Deidara and I love you," Kiyomi said as her breathing slowed down and eventually her heart stopped beating. Then there was a deathly silence.

Deidara at the age of 12

After his mother's death, Deidara's father Tenshi took him in and raised him. Deidara though this would be his chance to get acknowledged by his father and gain his love just like his mother. He was wrong. His father was strict and never treated him like his mother would. All his father would do was to put Deidara in grueling training that was not meant for a child like him. To make matters Tenshi took away his only happiness, his art. What he hated the most though was how Tenshi always looked at him with that look. That same damn look, did he not care that his mother died, did he always have to treat his art like shit, DID HE EVER CARE ABOUT HIS SON. No... he never cared, all he ever cared about was raising the "perfect" shinobi. When he reached the age of twelve, and graduated from the academy, he found something interesting. When his sensei introduced chakra natures, he had found that his paper blew up to pieces. This indicated the Explosion Release Kekkei Genkai. This was exciting for him, because it meant that he had something special like his mom said. This was his chance to show his 'father' that he really was a good shinobi. Maybe if he impressed him enough, he would get his art back. It didn't take long for his "father" to find out, and all he did was look at him and say this.

"Hmpf, to think you actually had the Explosion Release," said Tenshi. " But it's nothing special, after all, there is a whole Corps of them."

"WHAT, are you kidding me, I train my ass off, and that's the only thing you can say," shouted Deidara angrily.

"Tch, don't raise you voice at me boy. I OWN you, YOU listen to ME, I did not raise a worthless child like you. Maybe if you had the Sharingan, I would be a little impressed"

This hurt Deidara more than he ever thought it would. He just wanted to be looked at by 'father' as his own son, to make Tenshi proud of him.

As time went on he went and joined the Explosion Corps begrudgingly due to Tenshi's orders. He faced the same kind of treatment as he did in the Academy, but this was where he met a peculiar person. Since he was the youngest to ever join the Explosion Corps, he caught the attention of the Tsuchikage. The Tsuchikage took Deidara under his wing where he trained and treated him better than Tenshi did. It felt refreshing for Deidara. He was even allowed to make his art in his presence. Although, the Tsuchikage never really made a comment about his art, but it was an improvement right? Eventually, with enough persuasion he was allowed to move in with the Tsuchikage to train. It was there where he met an annoying little brat Kurotsuchi, although she was like a little sister to him but he wouldn't say that to her. Hmpf, at least she appreciated my art.

Eventually, four years passed by without word from his biological father. He was thankful that Tenshi left him alone, tch Tenshi probably knew about his training with the Tsuchikage. Deidara would always made sure to visit his mother whenever he can, after all, she was one of the only few people that cared. In his time in the Explosion Corps, he was known as a prodigy mastering all of the Explosion Release Jutsu available to him. To be honest they were all fools, every single one of them. They think that their Kekkei Genkei would help carry them through every battle. He had to train his ass off to get to where he was. It doesn't concern him though, because what he wants to achieve is a combination of his Explosion Release and his clay sculptures. He thought it would bring him closer to his mom and fill up the empty void inside of him. Deidara's ambition to be closer to his art led him to use a Kinjutsu on himself. This Kinjutsu gave Deidara the mouths on his hands and chest. It gave Deidara the ability to mold his chakra into his clay creating explosive clay. It was perfect... he became an artistic shinobi, the true epitome of what he wanted to be.

"I did it mom, I achieved my dreams," said Deidara as he started creating more sculptures. "Now, I can show world how amazing my art is," Deidara finished solemnly. 'If only you could see me now mom.'

" To think I didn't beat that art crap out of you" Out of nowhere Tenshi came into the shrine Deidara was at. "I didn't spend all that time for you to become the "perfect" shinobi just so you can play around with clay."

"SHUT UP, you would never understand anything. How much love mom gave to me, How proud the Tsuchikage is of me. You will never understand shit," responded Deidara angrily.

"Tch, it seems I need to beat some more sense into you. You know I kind of had high hopes for you. You joined the Explosion Corps, became the Tsuchikage's apprentice, and even became well known throughout the Hidden Stone. It's too bad, you would've been Tsuchikage by now if you hadn't been messing around with garbage like this. You're a failure," replied Tenshi. He then started walking towards Deidara with his emotionless face that gave no respect at all.

'That's it, I've had enough. I'm... I'm... I'm gonna FUCKING MURDER you for everything you've ever done to me,' though Deidara. Suddenly a crazed look appeared on Deidara's face as he sent his clay creations towards Tenshi, and put up the necessary hand seals.

KATSU!

An explosion shook that the ground in the area that the shrine was. All Deidara could see now was what was left of his biological father's burnt corpse.

"That was beautiful... to think that my art could be brought even further than it already was. Mother, did you see my art? Did you see my glorious art that took away years of pain? So this is what true art is hm? True art... IS AN EXPLOSION!

Thus began Deidara's decent into madness. He lost sight of who he truly was and went against all of his mother's 10 acts of Creativity.

End of Flashback

'To think I fell this low hm. I'm sorry mom... it's just so hard to forget what he did to me, how they all turned their backs on me, I just want to be acknowledged and loved again. I want to live on for you, just one more chance please...'

'Do you want to live?'

Deidara didn't know who this was but he didn't care. He wanted one more chance to go down the path of redemption, and then maybe when he finally dies. He can look his mom in the face properly again. No, not after the atrocities he's commited, all the people he has killed, and he went against the final lesson his mom taught him. He needs this.

'Yes'

'Then live on, do what you couldn't accomplish in this life, learn from your mistakes. I can give you another chance, but the choice is yours. Do you accept knowing you may never see this world again.'

'Yes'

'Very well, I wish you best of luck on your endeavors, but know this, you will face many challenges that are much greater than the one you faced in this world.'

As Deidara's soul got sent to what he called the DxD world, he couldn't help but smile. That's because Hagoromo Otsutsuki knows that he will do just fine.

A/N

Just finished writing the prologue of this story. I decided to write this because I've never seen a good crossover story with Deidara in it, so I took it upon myself to make one. Also Deidara's character might seem OOC a little bit, but he'll be back to his usual self in the next chapter. If you have any suggestions, feel free to give me some but please don't flame me because this is my first time. So anyways see ya.
