Our story begins back on everyone's favourite island. The camp Wawanakwa sign can be seen in frame before the camera pans out to show the whole dock, and standing on the end is everyone's favourite host, Chris McLean.

The middle aged man hadn't changed much since his last appearance on camera (thanks to a lot of botox), and he still wore his signature dark teal button up top and light tan cargo pants. It was almost scary how plastic the older man looked, but he always wanted to look good for the cameras after all.

"Welcome back, Campers! That's right, what you've all been waiting for, Total Drama is back!" The former boy band member announced enthusiastically, "and we're bringing it back to camp Wawanakwa!"

The scene changes to show a shot of the cabins from season one. They look almost untouched, until a raccoon pops out of one of the drawers with a light pink bra on it's head.

"Crappy cabins."

A shot of a bear in the forest, taking a bath in the lake, appears on screen.

"Wild animals."

The bear notices the camera and begins to blush as he covers his private area. Luckily for the poor bear, the scene changed once again to show Chef in the kitchen with a sinister smile on his face. He was stirring a pot when a puff of smoke comes out of it, the smoke forming a skull and crossbones.

"And questionable food that we're 50% sure isn't fatal!"

The scene shifts back to Chris standing on the dock, a big smile plastered on his, as usual. "Just like before, campers are going to be competing in gruelling challenges, and every three days they will face the judgement of their peers. The last person standing will receive one. Million. Dollars!" He pulls out a suitcase full of cash in it, a yellow halo glowing around the cash. "All we're missing are some fresh victims- I mean contestants!" The slip up didn't stop McLean from grinning ear to ear, obviously he was thrilled that Total Drama was back. "That's right, this season we're looking for 16 brand new contestants to risk their lives. So, if you want to compete for 1 million dollars, submit your applications now!"

Hi everyone, welcome to my Total Drama SYOC. I'm not new to the TD SYOC community. I've submitted several characters for other stories under a different account and really wanted to try writing one on my own. The reason I made a whole new account was so I could start fresh and not feel as much pressure.

Also, to clarify a little bit. This season takes place in an alternate universe where the show got cancelled after World Tour due to… legal/PR issues. However, after 10 years, Fresh TV Studio is on the verge of bankruptcy! In order to avoid closing down the studio for good, they need one smash hit. And there was never a bigger hit for the studio than Total Drama. They have just enough to fund one season of a new Total Drama season to hopefully save the studio. This is NOT going to be a rewrite of Revenge of The Island but with OCs.

But anyway, here are some rules for submissions. Please follow these rules, if not the character will be immediately rejected.

- No Mary Sues or Gary Stus. No character can be perfect, if they are then they aren't very entertaining.

- This is NOT first come, first serve. I will be looking at what potential storylines work for each character, and deciding based on that. If your character does not get accepted, also please understand it is NOT because the character is bad per say, it means they just aren't suitable for this particular story.

- Submissions in PMs ONLY! If anyone can look at the reviews and see your whole character's application, it makes it very difficult to do a plot twist or build a suspenseful story with your character.

- Characters will be revealed in the cast list update. Do not review or PM me regarding whether or not your character has been accepted or not.

- Each person can submit 2 characters, one male and one female.

- Please label your PM: "TDI2: *Character's name*'s Application*. Just to help me keep everything as organised as possible.

- Please be patient with me. This story will not start IMMEDIATELY. It may take a few weeks to select characters, and at least a month or two after to plan everything out. So if you're looking for instant gratification, sorry I suggest finding a different story.
