Annabeth POV
I sighed in bliss as I brushed my curly hair into and half up half down style. I was dressed in a grey sweater dress and knee length grey boots. I was 18 and I was going out with my boyfriend Percy Jackson. It has been a year since we finally got rid of Gaea. You see me and Percy are Half-blood, AKA Demigods. We have one parent that is a god or goddess and one that is a mortal. My mom is Athena goddess of Wisdom while Percy's father is Poseidon the Sea god. Therefore we went to a camp called Camp Half-Blood for Half-bloods. We then faced any challenges that normal couples don't face. We battled the Titans and won and then Percy went missing and we found out he was in a Roman Half-Blood Camp. After we found him we both ended up in Tartarus which is literal Hell. Then we escaped and had a big battle with Gaea AKA Mother Nature. She's not as nice as you may think. Now Percy will be getting her in five minutes so I finished my light makeup grabbed my bag and Demigod safe phone. I heard the knock on the door of my flat and I opened it to see Percy with adorable mussed hair. He gave me hug and a sweet kiss and closed the door. "Where are we going Perce? " I asked as we walked out of the apartment building. "That's A surprise" He replied with a mischievous smirk playing on his face. I smiled.
Percy POV
I was taking my beautiful girlfriend to a place near my mom's house. It's called Clancy's Cafe and it seems really nice so I thought why not. On the car ride there we laughed and sang along to some songs like "What Makes You Beautiful" By One Direction. As we pulled into the parking lot I heard Annabeth gasp. I looked at her and worriedly asked what was wrong. "Nothing" She whispered. I knew something was wrong, but ket it slide
Annabeth POV
Laughing as we pulled into the parking lot my laughter was cut short by the cafe we were in front of. Clancy Cafe. I think I must have gasped out loud because Percy worriedly asked me what was wrong and I whispered a silent nothing. Percy ever the gentlemen opened the door for me and let me in first. When the waiter came around his face split is dazzling grin. "Annabeth?!" he asked in shock. I nodded and hugged him. As I stepped back I said, "Hey Phil! How are you?" "I'm good you?" "Yea I'm good!" And he pulled me in another tight hug. Suddenly he yelped and I noticed some water on the back of his head. I turned around and glared at Percy. He smirked in reply. I rolled my eyes and dragged him to a table as Phil went t take someones order
Percy POV
I turned my hands into fists and glared as that Phil dude hugged Annie again. For almost a minute. Without knowing it I accidentally splashed water oh his head and as he yelped I had to stifle my laughter. Annabeth turned around and gave me her famous glare and I just smirked in reply. I noticed she rolled her eyes and dragged us to a table. As I opened my mouth to ask her who that guy was she pushed me in a seat and said, "I'm going to wash up and then you can" I nodded my head and kissed her cheek. As she walked away a waitress asked me for our order, I ordered two Camel Frappes and two cream cheese danishes. Soon Annabeth came back and I went to wash my hands.
Annabeth POV
In the bathroom I washed my hands and went back and sent Percy to wash his hands. While he was gone Phil came up and asked, "Hey Anna, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" I was so shocked I didn't know what to say but then I heard a growl and saw that Percy had returned and heard everything. He came over and dropped a kiss on my head and said, "Sorry dude, but Annabeths taken" I heard Phil growl in frustration and leave. I smiled at Percy.
3rd Person POV
The food and drinks had finally arrived and when the waitress placed them on the table, Annabeth took one look and burst int tears. Percy was shocked and kept asking her what was wrong. "Love are you okay?" Hiccuping Annabeth replied, "Perce when you were missing, me and your mom came here all the time. She sad this was your favorite pastry to buy and we always ordered these, and just seeing them made me feel like I was hit in the face with Nostalgia."Percy Sighed in realization and got up and pulled Annabeth up with him. He paid and they left the cafe. In the car Percy Pulled Annabeth in a big kiss and said, "Love I'm here now" Annabeth sniffled and said, "I'm sorry for crying like a big baby." "No, it's alright, let it all out." Annabeth buried her head in his chest and cried. After they got Chinese takeout and watched movies.
