Crystal walked through the school hallway holding her sketchbooks close to her. She loved drawing, and she was embarrassed to show others, and she was a total nerd she was shoved to the side into the lockers. "Ouch!" She yelped, she heard someone chuckle. "Well, well. If it isn't Crystal Grey. So nice to see you." She heard a pitchy sarcastic voice say. "Anne." She said, Anne scoffed and moved her head back. Making her brunette hair move along with. Her emerald green eyes glimmered with mischief. "Let's see what that is." She said, reaching down to grab Crystal's sketches. "W-Wait!" She said, But Anne was already looking at her drawings, she 'tsk'ed and laughed. "Seriously!? Slugterra!? You need to grow up, stop being so childish. You're sixteen, so grow up!" She said, tossing the book down and walked away. 'Dumb bitch' She thought she began putting her stuff in her backpack then the bell rang. "I'm late for geometry!" She quickly zipped up her backpack, and ran to class.
One month later...
Crystal sat at the edge of the rooftop looking down. Sky Peak High school had three floors the third one added over summer last year due to how popular the school was getting, and they wanted more students, Crystal had been to Sky Peak High School since ninth grade and all the other Sky Peak schools, the schools mascot was a Blue Morpho Butterfly. Which was her favorite insect so it's why she chose to go to the Sky Peak schools since kindergarten, but that's off topic. She stared down at the long fall she sighed and shook her head, she finished her sandwich, and stood up on the, bench and thought of climbing the fence they put up to try and prevent anyone from 'falling off' she stared, then Jake walked over. "Hello Crystal." He said, Crystal jumped slightly in surprise, she turned back to see Anne's ex-boyfriend, "Jake, What a pleasant surprise." She said, sarcastically. "Oh, you still mad I left Anne for you?" He said trying to get close, Crystal shoved him away. "Not interested." She said, glaring. "Aww c'mon." He said, getting closer. "You could get written up for assault." She said, Jake glared then his face went back to a smirk. "Aww, to prove myself to you I'd die for ya'." He said, Crystal rolled her eyes. "Really?" She said smirking, Jake nodded. Crystal turned and climbed the fence, and sat on the top leaning forward so she wouldn't fall back, she smirked. Crystal heard one of the girls from their volleyball team yell. "She's bluffing!" Crystal smirked and swung her legs over the bar so they latched onto the fence and she leaned back and hung upside down. "Oh really? Then If I was bluffing, would I be so willing to do this." She said, Jake backed up, Crystal scoffed. "Jake, you're a piece of shit liar." She said, she saw Anne come through the doors Anne gasped and dropped her lunch. "C-Crystal..." She mumbled, Crystal didn't see Anne's reaction. She grabbed onto the fence and stood up straight on what little 'ground' there was on the edge of the roof. She looked down and a soft smile formed. 'It will finally end' She thought, She let go of the fence and began to fall forward and she kicked the edge and dropped. Anne ran and before anyone could stop her she jumped over the fence. She felt something on her back and she barely grabbed Crystal's wrist. But Crystal had fainted mere moments after she let go. Anne got a safe landing and she looked back to see what it was that was on her back, but whatever it was, it was gone. She turned back, to the unconscious girl she was holding. She pulled out her phone. "Hello?" "Yes, uh my friend tried to commit suicide, I caught her, but she fainted." Anne said. "When you say you, 'caught her' what do you mean?" The lady asked. "She tried jumping off a roof." Anne said.
The present...
Crystal, was sitting on the couch with her little sister Lucy. "Come oooonnn. I wanna watch season four." Lucy complained. "Not until Anne gets here." Crystal said, her sister sighed. "Fiine." She said, after a couple minutes Anne finally got there. "Alright let's start." Crystal said, as she hit play. After watching season four and all the other movies, they all went to the kitchen for dinner. "And to think I used to make fun of you for watching that. Damn." Anne said, Lucy looked at Anne weirdly. "You What?" She asked, Anne shook her head. "I'll tell you later Lulu." She said, Lucy crossed her arms. "So who's your favorite character?" Lucy asked, Anne quickly responded. "Dana Poor." She said. "But she barely got any screen time." Lucy said. "Your favorite character doesn't have to have that much screen time." Crystal said, she smirked. "Plus we all know you simp for Eli." She said, Lucy blushed. "Sh-Shut up!" She said, turning away. "Well who's your favorite character Crystal?" Anne asked, Crystal smiled. "Most definitely Junjie!" She said, Anne shook her head playfully. "Simp." She said, Crystal rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She said, not noticing the slight blush on her face. Once they finished eating dinner they all gathered in the living room. "Soooo... What now?" Lucy asked, Crystal shrugged. "Let's go out back." She said, Anne shrugged. "Sure, it's nice and cool outside." She said. Everyone went outside, Crystal decided to look around, she moved in to the house just last week. She saw something that, at first glance looked like a shed, but upon closer inspection she noticed something and gasped. "Hey guys! Come look at this!" She said, Lucy and Anne came over and looked at it and gasped. "The drop!" Lucy shouted, Anne and Crystal nodded. "Should we check it out?" Lucy said excited, Crystal shrugged. "Just in case it is you'd better get a bag ready, or else, mom would probably dig herself out of her grave to come and find your aft." Crystal said, Lucy giggled. "Did you seriously, use a cybertronian curse word instead of as-" "I'm gonna stop you right there missy, no cussing, now go get a bag ready." Anne stepped in. Lucy sighed, and ran inside, she emptied out her backpack, and grabbed a change of clothes, deodorant(TMI), some cheese-it's, and her favorite fox plush. Once she was done she sat in the living room waiting for Anne, and her sister to finish, once they did, they all went to the drop and opened the door, if they squeezed together they all could fit, in the chair. Which worked, once they reached the ground they all got out. "Never. Ever. Again." Anne said, stretching and rubbing sore areas, like her arms and legs. "Same here." Lucy said, stretching popping her back. "Sorry guys." Crystal said, she heard something, she turned around and saw nothing she heard it again, she 'aww'ed at a small geoshard. She bent down and held out her hand. "It's okay, I won't hurt you." She said, in a gentle voice. The slug looked at her for a moment, them hopped on her hand. Crystal stood up straight. "I think I'll name you... lAmethyst. How does that sound?" She asked, the geoshard jumped in joy. Crystal set the slug on her shoulder, she turned back and her sister and friend were staring at her. "Wow, that was fast." Lucy said, Crystal nodded. "What are they doing out of Crystal Caverns though?" Anne asked, Crystal shrugged she motioned for everyone to come closer. "Well there's a possibility that we could meet the Shane Gang." Crystal said, Lucy gasped. "The Sha-" Crystal covered Lucy's mouth. "Be careful what you say there could be anyone listening." She said, Lucy nodded, Crystal removed her hand. "I'm excited!" Lucy whisper-squealed, Crystal shook her head, and heard a rustle in the bushes, she motioned for everyone to get behind me, Crystal slowly walked forward, and suddenly Pronto sprang out of the bushes. "Freeze! And tremble! For you are in the presence of. Pronto! The Magnificent!" He said, Crystal did her best to contain a laugh, but she ended up bursting out in laughter. "I'm sorry I just can't-" She kept laughing, Lucy and Anne started laughing too.
