"The fly crisis"
It's a hot summer day. Air condition is broken at Paddy's pub yet again, so Charlie keeps all the doors and windows open for air circulation. Meanwhile, government workers are protesting so the annual spring spray has not happened to keep the flies away during the summer. Flies breed big, loud, and aggressive. A fly's buzzing sound makes the gang go gradually crazy. The gang lashes out at Charlie for keeping all the doors and the windows open, so they close them. Now, they're trapped inside in the heat with a bunch of flies. Gang makes a joke about how Dee is failing to fulfil her duties as a bird by not catching and eating the flies. Then there is a whole discussion whether birds eat flies or not. This gives an idea to Charlie and Frank. They cover up the bar with double sided tape to capture the flies for dinner reasons and not for obvious reasons. Mac is shirtless doing karate announcing he is killing the flies one by one with a high kick. Dennis is in denial of the whole situation, sitting silently on a chair, conditioning himself to dance with the buzzing sound, imagining his own child self, with a psychopathic look in his eyes. Charlie and Frank manage to capture all the flies trapped in the bar, collect, and put them in a plastic bowl, close the lid, followed by an expressed relief and gratitude from the gang, only to have allowed them to open the doors and the windows again so they can escape the heat. The episode ends with a close-up of a fly making its way into the bar.
