Wedding Anniversary Celebration
One evening in the city of San Diego California, just before their final performance, the Atwood family members were in the trailer of Jess and Shane celebrating a very special night with a very special dinner and dessert.
Tonight was the night of the fifth wedding anniversary of Jessica Cooper and Shane Wilson.
Since Lisa was expecting her third child and couldn't move around very easily, hers and Rafael's twin daughters had to prepare the anniversary dinner.
The main course was spaghettini with an arugula garnish, the side dish was a loaf of garlic bread, and the dessert was cannoli and gelato.
"Thank you for such a wonderful anniversary dinner," Shane said to Rafael. "I know how much Jess loves Italian food!"
"Oh? And you don't, Shane?" Jess asked in a teasing manner.
"You got me, Jess," Shane said. "I too love Italian food!"
Everybody had to laugh.
Jess suddenly turned to Lisa.
"Oh, Lisa! Before I forget," Jess exclaimed. "this letter came for you in today's mail!"
Lisa took the letter and opened it, "It's from Maya!" she exclaimed.
"Who's Maya anyway, Mom?" Evie asked.
"Her name is Maya Collins, she married Lee Cranston a year and a half ago, she Chewie's paternal cousin," Lisa answered the youngest of her twin daughters. "she's also an old friend of ours from Willow Creek."
"Oh! I get it now!" Evie exclaimed.
Rafael turned to Lisa, "So, what does Maya have to say in her letter?" he asked.
Lisa read the letter out loud to those attending the celebration.
Lisa: Dear Wandering Star Circus troupe;
Lee and I found something intriguing and mysterious in our attic.
Come to our house in Willow Creek and we will show you what's in there.
Your friends,
Maya Collins and Lee Cranston.
"Well, everyone, after our final performance here in San Diego California," Rafael said. "we will be heading to Willow Creek!"
Shane checked his wristwatch, "Oh my gosh! Look at the time!" he exclaimed.
"What is it, Shane?" Jess asked.
"We need to get changed! It's almost time for the show!" Shane exclaimed.
"I can't perform right now because I'm expecting a baby." Lisa reminded.
"Don't worry, Lisa," Jess said. "I will stand in for you while you're on bedrest."
"Thank you, Jess." Lisa said.
Shane detected a problem.
"Jess," Shane said. "we were supposed to perform tonight."
"I know that, Shane," Jess said. "but Lisa needs me right now."
"Jessica Cooper," Shane scolded. "you are the most unromantic woman I have ever met!"
Rafael looked at Shane and Jess.
"Cut the arguing!" Rafael scolded.
Jess and Shane looked at each other.
"Sorry, Rafael." Jess said.
"I'm sorry too, Rafael." Shane agreed.
"Good," Rafael said. "now, we had better be getting ready for our final performance."
