With the ear-piercing screech of metal, the giant rat forced its way into the train. The woman barely had any time to scream before the rats were on her. But before they could rip her quite literally limb to limb, a hail of machine-gun fire tore into them. A man grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the subway, where a helicopter was waiting. As they flew away, the rats turned and tore into each other. Blood flew as they tore each other limb to limb "That's the end of those monsters," the pilot commented. "No, they were just following their instincts, it was us human's that made them," the man said as the words "THE END," rolled across the screen.
Jack Smith opened the DVD Player and took out the disk for Nezura and put the movie away. His sister, Hope Smith, poked her head in the doorway. "Jack, come on, we're leaving," she said, referring to their flight to Japan. Jack nodded, and after putting his shoes on, he raced into the car and closed the door.
Elsewhere, a rock wall exploded inward, the silhouette of a strange creature blocking the light. His large ears swiveled about, absorbing all sounds, no matter how small. Unknown noises made him shiver with fear. "Oy-oy-oy," he said nervously but ventured in anyway.
As the family drove down the road, Jack flipped through a catalog of kaiju toys, books, and movies. "Hey, there's Kraa! The Sea Monster," he noted, not really caring how bad that film was. Hope was sketching, and while she wasn't a kaiju nut like her brother, seeing how they were going to Japan, she only found it fitting sketching the mascot kaiju of the country. After drawing the main body, she started on the little details with delicate strokes.
A long green vine holding a brush carefully brushed dusk off the mural. The being reared up on his hind legs before resting them on it, carefully blowing off more dust. Picking up another tool, he started scraping the dirt out of the groove.
In two different places in the world, a picture was taking shape. One was a drawing, the other... well that one had the answers to a question.
The being's green eyes widened as he saw the picture on the mural. "Amigos, amigos, you have to see this," he cried, running out of the cave. The picture showed a swarm of insects attempting to attack a large tree, only to be blocked by a swarm of monsters.

At the airport, the Smith family waited for their flight. "Hey Hope, how do you think the world would react if kaiju were real?" Jack asked his sister. Without looking up, Hope spoke. "The world would be in chaos," she replied. "Well, if we left the kaiju alone, wouldn't they do the same?" he asked. Hope nodded at the logic at his sentence. At that moment, the PTA sprung to life. "Flight 14 to Tokyo has arrived, please head to the terminal to get on," it stated. The family got up, not seeing the creature with glowing red eyes in the shadows. Wings on its back opened and it flew off.
As the plane slowly took off, the creature flew through a portal. "Well, what do you have to report," a voice boomed. "Yes, one group of humans have a youngling who loves monsters like us," the creature hissed. The other creature chuckled cruelly. "Well, let's give the child what they want," he said as another being took off, ready to intercept their victims. "Good job, now I believe your Queen is worried about you," he informed the little critter, who nodded and buzzed off.
Back on the plane, Jack stared out the window, picturing he was flying along aside a mutated prehistoric Dragonfly. In the cockpit, one of the co-pilots saw something appear on the radar for a moment. The pilot saw his confusion and addressed him. "Hey porcupine, what's the problem," he asked. "I could have sworn there was something on the radar," was the reply. "Hey Moe, the same thing happened to me," the other co-pilot said. Moe's brow furrowed at this, wondering if the equipment was acting up. At that moment, a blue blur shot by the window, leaving just disorientation in the clouds. Having a bad feeling, Moe activated the intercom. "Attention passengers, we may have a little bit of turbulence," he said, trying to hide the worry in his voice.
A moment later, Jack saw the left-wing suddenly tear away, one moment it was there, the next it wasn't. People instantly started screaming as the plane dove down. Hope caught a glimpse of green right before the plane jolted, the sound of tearing metal and...snapping wood? Hope and Jack curled up in a ball to protect themselves from falling luggage. At long last, the plane came to a halt, and the passengers looked about, slowly recovering. The whole left side of the plane was gone, along with the other wing. A scream of pain drew their attention to a man, a long vine wrapping around his neck. Before anyone could help, another wrapped around him, his body withering up as the vines drained him of his blood. Luckily, they were in a clearing, and they quickly got to the clearing.
"What the heck is going on?" an aide screamed in terror. Before anyone could speak, the ground shook, and a loud shriek filled the air.
SKRAWW!
A swarm of 20 kaiju appeared, towering over the trees. They were tan, with two protrusions on their heads. They had pincer-claws and jaws full of teeth. A man from Japan, returning from a vacation, spoke the creature's name.
"Sadora"
One of the Sadora pointed her claws at Jack and Hope, then its arm fired forward, stretching like rubber. Something slammed into the two kids, knocking them out of the way. To their horror, it was the mother and father. "Dad, Mom!" they screamed in fear as they were yanked away. "Run, get away," was the last thing they said before the Sadora bit down. Hope screamed in horror as Jack dragged her away.
The Sadora continued to feed, quickly devouring the group. A snap drew a Sadora's attention to the fleeing children. He wailed out and thundered after them, the pack doing the same, trees snapping under their claws. Right as they were in grabbing distance, the ground erupted, drawing their attention to the newcomers.
"GRROORRRSSSSS"
"GEEYAAAA"
A/N not the longest chapter, but I'm not the best with build-up.
