Lila Rossi was having a terrible day. She snarled as Marinette Dupain-Cheng laughed with her friends at the other table. That stupid blue-haired girl had stolen all of Lila's friends. Lila was sitting alone. Something that should never happen to someone of her caliber. She glanced to the side. Chloé Bourgeois was lounging at a table while her slave, Sabrina, was doing her homework. She rolled her eyes. That girl would do anything for Chloé. Even Chloé Bourgeois had a friend. Well, at least her "friend" thought she was Chloé's friend. It was obvious Sabrina was being used by Chloé to everyone but Sabrina. Lila recalled the story Marinette's best friend, Alya Césaire, had told her. Apparently, Marinette had been grouped with Chloé and Sabrina. Sabrina, being the dummy she is, thought Marinette was using her and ran back to Chloé with her tail between her legs. Lila snickered to herself. Like Marinette would ever use someone.

I'm so pathetic, Lila thought, I can't even find a friend (a slave) to sit with me and do our homework.

"I need a slave for myself." She muttered, as she pulled her Chemistry homework out of her bag.

The group at Marinette's table let out a huge guffaw, laughing as Marinette pulled a muffin out of her head. She was such a klutz. Adrien grabbed a napkin and picked off the muffin. How did Marinette get attention for being a klutz? Lila was gorgeous and graceful but Adrien ignored her. That boy was an oblivious mess.

As Lila looked down at her homework, she growled in anger. How was she, Lila Rossi, the one sitting alone. Marinette was such a clumsy freak and Chloé a spoiled brat, but she was the one isolated. Lila's vision blurred.

I'm not doing this, she thought. Lila picked up her bag and walked over to Chloé and her slave.

"Hey, Sabrina!" Lila said, waving, in her sickly sweet voice.

"Hi, Lila!" Sabrina replied, with her disgusting baby voice. No wonder she was Chloé's slave.

Lila put on a smile, "I'm having trouble with my Chemistry homework. Do you mind helping me, please?"

Sabrina grinned, "Of course not, Lila! I'd be happy to help!" She said excitedly.

"Ahem." Chloé glared at Lila, "What about my homework, Sabrina?" She said.

"Oh," Sabrina looked disappointed, "I'm sorry, Lila."

Lila smiled sadly, "It's okay, Sabrina. Of course, if I fail I won't become a surgeon to help all of those people in Kinochika." She laughed to herself. She didn't even know if Kinochika was even a place. But that wasn't important. Lila knew the dummy would believe her.

"Oh, Chloé," Sabrina whined, "can I help Lila? I can finish your homework next break? You have Chemistry later than Lila anyways."

Chloé scoffed. "Fine, whatever. Just finish it later. I have business to discuss with Ladybug right now anyway." She said, texting away on her phone, chewing pineapple gum.

Lila smiled, "Thank you, Sabrina and Chloé." She sat herself down and pulled out her homework. "I don't understand any of it, Sabrina."

"That's okay, Lila! I can do it for you!"

Lila smirked, "Thank you so much!"

Lila pulled out her phone. She scrolled through Adrien Agreste's Instagram page. He was so cute. Unfortunately, he was a goody-two shoes. Lila still remembered the day he defended Marinette. That stupid girl ruined everything.

Lila could feel a pair of eyes on her. She looked around to see Marinette with a nasty frown on her face. Lila grinned and waved. Marinette shot up from her seat and marched over.

"What do you think you're doing?" Marinette demanded.

Lila beamed, "Using my break wisely with my friends, Marinette. Same as you."

Lila could hear Chloé scoff at the "friends" comment.

"You two better not try anything." Marinette snarled.

Lila lost her smile and brought her face close to Marinette's ear, "Why would I try anything, Marinette? It's not like I've wanted to destroy you since we first met."

Marinette gasped, but quickly replaced her shock with a smile.

"We'll see what you can do, Lila." She said, walking back to her friends.

Lila growled and got up, snatching her homework from Sabrina ("Lila!") and walking out as the bell rang. She went to Mr. Damocles office. Opening the door, she put on a distressed face.

"Mr. Damocles, sir!" She cried, "I just got a text from my mother. She is sick and she just started throwing up. I have to take her to the doctors again. We think it might be an ancient disease from Kinochika!"

"Oh!" Mr. Damocles exclaimed, "Then with all means, go to her, Lila! I'll inform your teachers."

Lila smiled thankfully, "Thank you, sir."

Lila turned back around and ran all the way out of the school. She continued running all the way to the park. She sat herself down on a bench, dropping her bag, her papers scattering the floor. She broke down crying.

"Why won't Marinette just go away?" She said, shaking her head, tears streaming down her face.

Lila sobbed for a good twenty minutes. She yelled at herself for being dumb. So many plans had failed. They were extremely clever too. She banged her head onto her hands. She was such a failure.

"Lila?" A tiny voice said.

She looked up to see Manon and Chris staring at her. She quickly wiped away her tears.

"Why are you crying? Crying's for babies!" Chris said.

Lila laughed, "I'm not crying, silly! My 'tears' cure an ancient disease from Kinochika. So I'm pinching myself really hard."

"Woah," Manon and Chris exclaimed, "that's so cool!"

"Do you have some candy like you did last time?" Manon asked, with her baby doll eyes.

Lila smiled warmly, "Of course!" She pulled out two candies from her bag that was still lying on the floor. Manon blew the strand of hair off of her eyes and stuck her hand out alongside Chris. Lila placed one on each tiny hand.

"Yay!" They both shouted, "You're our favorite babysitter, Lila!"

That statement confused Lila, "I thought Marinette was your favorite?" She said, hate lacing her voice.

They both shook her head, Manon pouting. "Marinette doesn't give us candies. She won't even let me play with her dollies." Chris nodded in agreement.

"She lied to me! She said she was one of Santa's elves. She's a liar!"

Lila smirked, "I'm sure she didn't mean to."

Before Manon and Chris could protest, Mrs. Chamack called for them, causing them both to run off, shoving their candies in their pockets so Mrs. Chamack couldn't see them.

Lila gathered her papers and shoved them into her bag. She thought about how she was better than Marinette at something. That definitely made her feel better. Those little devils were actually useful for something. She organized her homework. Lila glanced at her Chemistry homework. Sabrina had finished a majority of it. She quickly filled out the rest of the worksheet. After five minutes, Lila had organized and stored away all of her papers.

Then, to her surprise, she heard someone cursing loudly. Looking around her, she saw a blonde boy in a black outfit kicking a tree in the distance. Lila quickly smoothed her hair and designer clothes. She picked up her bag and strutted over to the mysterious blonde boy.
