*Andrea*

I am in my garage with the door open, which allows the sunshine and fresh air to flow as I sing the 80s music, which explodes from my stereo from a bench in the background as I waxed my 1997 Bourget Street Sweeper Sport.

When my phone rings, I stop what I'm doing and glide over to my phone sitting next to the radio. When I noticed that my cousin Opie was calling, I turned down the music and answered it with a smile on my face. "Hey, Ope, what's up?" I've not seen him in fifteen years, but we've always made sure to keep in touch over that time, even though he was in prison for five years.

"Oh, nothing, just calling to see how you were doing. I haven't talked to you in a few days, Andy." His voice bellows through the phone. "How are things?"

I take a seat on the bench and fiddle with a wrench. "Not wonderful." I laugh mirthless. "I'm about to kill my dad, he's such an asshole." I told him.

"What did he do now?" I can hear the worry in Opie's voice. "Did he hit you again?" His tone changing, anger slipping in place of the concern.

I laugh. "Hell no, not since I put him in the hospital last year and moved into my own place. He just keeps coming by my house trying to start shit. It's pissing me off. I need to get out of Arizona." I say bitterly. "I'm 25 and still here."

I hear Opie clearing his throat. "Well, you could always come to Charming. It's just 12 hours away, and I know a shop that needs a mechanic." He tells me. "I also know Kenny and Ellie would love to meet you." He adds, knowing that I always wanted to meet his children, talking to them on the phone simply doesn't do justice.

"Are you sure? Where would I stay?"

"Here with us, we have a guest room you can use. Donna would love to meet you." Opie tells me, causing me to smile.

"Say no more then. I'll be there within a day or so. Gotta wrap some shit up here. Oh! And don't tell Piney! I want to surprise him!" I say before we say our goodbyes and get off the phone.

It takes me a day to get my house on the market and pack everything I need for my trip. I don't take much with me, only my clothes and shoes, everything else is sold with the house. That's not much, considering I didn't have much in this place anyway.

Within an hour of getting my house on the market, I hopped on my bike and made my way to Charming. Opie told me that he would be at a shop / bike club called Teller-Morrow and to meet him there as soon as I got to Charming, no matter how late it was. I smiled at the thought of seeing my cousin, uncle, and Ope's children for the first time, and of course the opportunity to meet some new people. I was excited for this fresh start, getting away from my shitty father. It's not a surprise to me that Piney told him to fuck off all those years ago.

Glancing down at the time on my watch as I sat on my bike and prepared to leave, I realized it was 8 a.m., so I hit the throttle and pulled on the highway. Instead of going 65 mph, I went 100 mph. I'm not fucking around, it's my chance to get out there here, and I'm going as fast as I can. Driving on the highways and through the desert has been a chance to clear my mind. Something about riding on the open road for so long gives me the chance to organize my thoughts and just relax.

Eleven hours later, after a few gas stations to fuel the bike and myself, I finally passed the "Welcome to Charming" sign with a smile on my face, knowing I'm not far from Teller-Morrow and my new home. Both excited and nervous about being reunited with my estranged family after all this time.

I revved my engine when I pulled into T.M. to let Opie know that I had arrived, and noticed a ton of motorcycles were a short distance from the garage while parking my bike next Opies truck, not far from them.

*Jax*

I'm sitting at the bar in the clubhouse with Opie and Piney when we hear the sound of a motorcycle pull into the parking lot, then the rider revving the engine.

I look between Ope and Piney when a smile spreads across Ope's face. "Ah, that must be the new mechanic." He says as he makes his way to the doors opening them and stepping out into the lot, all the guys following.

We get outside to observe an Orange 1997 Bourget Street Sweeper Sport next to Opie's truck. I have to do a double take when a figure steps behind the bike. I can tell by the tight jean shorts, purple flannel shirt and black boots, the person is a chick. She also seems to have a delicate peach-shaped ass under those shorts. She glances towards us as she removes her helmet, and my jaw drops

Her hair is bright purple, she has nice tits, a slim waist, tattoos covering her arms that sent my mouth watering just looking at her. She is a biker's dream-come-true, and I know the guys were thinking the same thing because they were whistling and cat-calling like crazy when we watched Opie and Piney amble over and pull the girl into their arms. They must know her.

"Damn, who is that fine ass chick?" Tig mutters to me, and I just shrug in answer while we watch my mom and Clay step out of the office. They stride towards the three across the parking lot, talking briefly before they all make their way over to us.

I make my way to the front of the crowd and give my mother a confused glance. She shakes her head and pats the girl on her back as they stop in front of us. "Everyone," My mother starts looking around at us all, "This is Ope's cousin, Andrea, she is a mechanic, and she is going to be working here to help us out."

The guys all look at each other and nod their heads, some of whom seem impressed and perhaps skeptical before stepping up to her, shaking her hand and hugging her. My stomach flops when I examine this girl, actually getting a good look at her. Her hair is long, almost to her ass, it's a bright purple color, and she has beautiful blue eyes. She has her nose, lip pierced, and I think I caught a glimpse of a tongue ring as she spoke. I watched as she flashed everyone a heart-stopping smile as she greeted them before her eyes met mine. She extended her hand to me, and I noticed something unreadable flash within her eyes.

Shaking myself out of my stupor, I flashed her my best "panty-dropping" smile as I took her hand in mine. A jolt of lighting flowed up my arm and coursed through my body as I shook her hand before retracting my hand and brushed off the sensation, "Hey, darlin', I'm Jax. Nice to meet you, what was your name again?" I asked while slipping my hands in the front pockets of my jeans.

"Hey, I'm Andrea, but you can call me Andy." She blushes and looks over at Ope, who has a stone-cold expression on his face.

Ope casts me a warning glare as he drapes his arm over her shoulder and leads her away from the crowd and into the clubhouse. My mom walks up to me and smacks my arm. "Quit undressing her with your eyes," she states. I roll my eyes.

"Mom, I was just looking at her. Damn, can't I look at a hot chick?" I ask.

"No, no, you can't because you have an unborn baby you have to worry about." She tells me before strolling back into the office. I sigh as I walk back into the clubhouse and sit next to my best friend and his beautiful cousin.
