Hey, I'm back with another high school fanfic Big Sea highschool will be discontinued because I don't enjoy writing the story anymore, but this story however will be an apology for the discontinuance of that story. I hope you like this one as much as BSHS happy reading!

Romance. Drama. Bullies. Fights. And stress. Words that you can use to describe your typical highschool. It's the last week of August in the summer of San Diego California. Namara Wallin nicknamed Nami is our protagonist of this story. The seventeen year old is the new transfered student at Piece One high school. Her mother Belle-mère Wallin had landed a new job which became the reason for their move. Nami was upset at first because she had to leave all her friends behind in Denver Colorado.

"Nami, can you stop texting for two minutes and help me with these boxes?" Belle-mère looks at her with an annoyed expression.

The redhead slips her phone in the back pockets of her shorts and leans off of the moving truck to take a box inside their one story house located in East Blue County.

She looks at the brownish grass and stares up at the sun through her shades.

"Gotta make sure to wear sunscreen in all this heat. You don't want to be sunburnt before school starts." Her sister Nojiko walks past her, heading back to the truck for another box.

Nojiko Wallin. Nami's older sister who already graduated highschool two years ago back in Colorado. Nojiko had spent the two years out of school working and studying part-time in university towards her bachelor's in Business administration. Nojiko could empathize with Nami because she too had to leave her friends behind at her old university and transfer to a college in California. Her stay in their one story isn't permanent, she's already looking for an apartment closer to her University.

Nami carries the box inside and takes a look around the house. The outside wasn't the best looking, and the inside...it's just as depressing.

"Mom, you seriously couldn't find a house that doesn't look haunted?" Nami puts the box down, takes her shades off and rests it on top of her head.

Belle-mère looks at her after rummaging through some boxes, "well, Nami I didn't have time to look at mansions with an infinity pool in the backyard." She answers her sarcastically. "Where are my gardening books?" She asks herself.

Belle-mère Wallin, a single mother in her mid forties. She has a head full of burgundy hair, blue eyes and a few grey strands. A police officer who recently found a position in San Diego California for a higher pay. Although her kids hated the news of moving to California and leaving their friends behind. She hoped they'd understand that she'd done it for the future of their family.

"You don't seriously think you can grow anything in this kind of weather, the grass isn't even green. I'm homesick already." Nami sighs.

"Well, this is our new home now, so you better get used to it. I'm sure something will bloom in all this heat." Belle-mère pulls out a book with a tree on the front cover. She smiles in victory. "Go check out your room Nami, it's got a nice view."

Nami walks past her in her shorts and tank top, to find her room. Her steps came to a stop when she got there. It was way smaller than her room in Colorado. She takes her phone out to call her best friend.

"Hey, are you all moved in?" A female voice can be heard on the other side of the phone.

"We're moving in the boxes. I hate it here already. I'm gonna be suffocated at home in this tiny box I call my room."

"Let's video call." Her friend suggested.

Nami swipes up and turns the voice call into a video call. Her blue haired friend smiles excitedly at her.

"Wow, this blue hair really does suit you." Nami smiles in awe.

"I'm rocking this color until my roots start growing in. Let me see your room."

"Okay, but don't laugh vivi." Nami flips the camera and shows her the size of the room.

"Oh, well...it's not that bad. You can fit almost everything in there. Except your couch."

"My mom was telling me on the way here that I might have to sell a few things. My couch being one of the few things. That's like, my favorite thing about my room."

"Yeah, that was the sweet spot. We did each other's hair, nails, facials, homework and gossip about-"

"Koza!" They say at the same time.

Nami gives a half smile, "Vivi, promise me you'll make a move on him this year. We're seniors now. You've liked him since freshman year."

"I can't do it. My wing woman is all the way in San Diego." Vivi groans.

"You have my full support even though we're miles apart." Nami gives her a thumbs up.

"Nami! Are you done checking out your room? Let's go get you registered for school." Belle-mère says from the living room.

Nami rolls her eyes, "I gotta go, I'm gonna get registered for school. I heard we have to wear uniforms."

"On the bright side, uniforms are so cute and you don't have to pick an outfit everyday."

"I guess that's a pro. I'll call you later."

"Toodles." Vivi waves goodbye.

The call ends and Nami puts her phone back into her pocket and meets with her mom and sister in the front room.

"All the boxes are in, Nojiko, can you take care of the moving truck? I gotta take Nami to school."

"I'll send you my location to pick me up afterwards." Nojiko says, swinging the keys of the moving truck on her index finger.

"Let's get going Nami." Belle-mère tells Nami.

Sitting at the red light in their two thousand and ten Hyundai Sonata. Belle-mère sat in the driver's seat humming to the music on the radio while Nami listened to her music through her airpods in the passenger seat. A red convertible car pulls up next to them with three teenage boys seated inside. The driver was a blonde teen with blue eyes, a balcony haired boy with shades on in the backseat and a boy with green dyed hair in the passenger seat.

The black haired boy says something to the blonde guy and the red convertible engine starts revving. Nami looks at her mom annoyed. "Typical west coast boys and their fancy cars."

Belle-mère smirks, "looks like he wants to race. He better not try to go over the speed limit or else I'm gonna have to give him a ticket."

"Mom, please don't. You haven't even started work yet."

"We have speed limits for a reason Nami."

The light turns green and the red convertible leaves their car in a heap of grey exhaust. Nami groans at the thought of her mom being a karen and chasing after the teens to give them a lecture about speeding.

"You're in luck Nami, next time I see them I'll definitely let them know about the dangers of speeding." Belle-mère takes a right as the navigation system takes her to the school.

Sitting in the office waiting to speak with a counselor Nami takes a look around at the photos and awards on display. This school has an excellent football team, they won the state championships eight years in a row. Nami's eyes fell upon a specific photo, she recognized the faces in the photo as the same boys in that red convertible. They were a part of the undefeated football team.

"Namara Wallin? I'm counselor Makino, I'll be taking care of your registry." A lady pokes her head out, searching the waiting room for Nami and her Mother.

"That's us. Come on Nami." Belle-mère gets up and follows Makino.

Nami switches her focus to the two women in front of her and follows after them.

"Your transcript is really impressive Namara. You've been getting beyond four points since freshman year. You're a bright individual. You need four more credits to achieve your honors diploma so I'll register you in some classes that I think you'll pass with ease." Makino marks down Nami's name alongside some classes and teachers.

"She's been working really hard since freshman year to get a full scholarship into college." Belle-mère comments.

"Well, it seems like that full scholarship is possible the way her grades are looking. Alright Namara, I signed you up in your core classes, you have three free periods left. Two excluding lunch. Would you like to take some electives? Having free periods on a transcript isn't good if you're looking for a full scholarship to college."

"I'll take art and personal finance." Nami tells her.

"Wonderful choices." With two more marks on the paper the counselor wrote on. She looks up and smiles at the two women sitting across from her. "Alrighty, I have all of your classes here ready to form your schedule. You can pick up a senior uniform at the front desk and take a look around the school if you'd like. Welcome to Piece One High school." The dark green haired woman smiles warmly.

"Thank you." Belle-mère returns the smile.
