The Mask; a powerful possession once belonged to the god of mischief himself in norse mythology. Once the wearer puts it on their face, they will be given the power of mischief. However, it is only for nocturnal use because it never works in daylight.

The Mask was discovered by a man named Stanley Ipkiss, on that dreary night with nothing but rotten luck. He finds something floating by the river. Mistaken to be a man drowning, there was nothing but trash and one item that stood out. That was when everything changed for Stanley Ipkiss when placed the ancient green wooden mask, for he had lost will power and became a whole different person. But The Mask of course wasn't exactly evil even though it was owned by the god of mischief himself dear readers. No, for it only transformed those depending if they are either pure or impure.

Throughout the adventures Stanley had to endure got him arrested, but that was cleared up after using The Mask one last time to defeat Dorian and his thugs which worked nonetheless. Stanley was living life to the fullest. As for the Mask, he discarded it in the waters after he decided that he wanted to be himself. He finally had the love of his life Tina and his dog Milo.

Now that comes to the question. What exactly happened to The Mask? Well for starters it was still floating in the rivers traveling state after state until it eventually came to a stop as it got caught by the smooth grey rocks. As it remains still waiting for it's newer owner to claim it. There was movement all around. Movement of living, breathing things. As it waits in the woods by the river, someone picked it up and looked at the inside of rough wood grains.

Kenny McCormick turned the mask around, his fingertips brushing the rough grained wood. It was ancient looking if this could possibly be worth something, but of course he knew where that would lead to. So he decided he wanted to keep it for himself until it could be the right timing to tell his friends-

Oh that's right! They're not my friends anymore.

As Kenny remembered that day he, Stan, Kyle, and Cartman had to part ways after all the disagreements and keeping secrets from one another. So Kenny's goals in mind was to keep his little sister Karen safe and make money for the family working as a busboy for a restaurant to keep a roof over his head.

But what he didn't realize was that he was holding a very powerful possession that can change his life as well as its previous owner but not right now for it was daylight.

Life was very difficult for Kenny, not only he was to where he couldn't die. Well he can, but could be reborn after his death and grew back into his current age instantly. Also, he and his family weren't the wealthiest family in South Park. For they were struggling financially. As Kenny went back home, there was a note on the refrigerator door written by his mother.

Kenny, Your dad and I will be back the next morning, for we had to go out of town for a family emergency. Kevin and Karen are with their friends and will be staying overnight. Dinner is in the fridge to heat.

With love,

Mom

For once Kenny was alone in the house, which made him feel lonely with the company of pet rats he keeps in his room. The sun was setting down as the sky was changing from copper orange to starry night blue with white shining dots in the dark. The full moon illuminating it's light below creating shadows either remained still or moved. As Kenny ate his dinner which was one of those tv dinners you put in the microwave. At least it was one of those with good tasting food which was something they could afford that was decent. He heads back to his bedroom, with the ancient mask sitting at the foot of his bed. Though something about it seems to draw Kenny closer to it wondering how it ended up in the river. But when he flipped it around to see on the inside, it shimmered.

Was it his imagination? Or was it the effect of the moonlight through his window? He brought it closer to face as he removed his hood exposing his dirty blond hair. but when he did, the Mask was stuck to his face like super. Kenny desperately tries to pull it off, but it was enveloping the back of his head. He screamed in pain as the rats looked at him, their black eyes growing with anticipation seeing their owner in something bizarre started to happen as he spun like the Tasmanian devil, the rats scattered away and out of the bedroom. Kenny was spinning seeing pictures of himself of his darkest desires flashing before his eyes. Things he wished he really wanted to do but just couldn't, for the actions would lead into facing consequences.

But all that will power evaporated quickly as Kenny was no longer himself it was being put into a dream but there was another persona taking control. No, this wasn't Kenny anymore for it was a new person born from the mighty powers of Loki's mask.

With a green face, red mischievous eyes and a wide cartoonish toothy grin with teeth twice the size of normal teeth. Blond hair slicked back. While wearing a black and white vertical striped suit with a red bow tie and a matching fedora.

"Ssssmokin!" He said but then frowned, his voice sounding a little distorted.

"No wait, that's been said before. It's showtime! No, that's been said, too! I'll think of something later, but first."

While holding his fedora then took his arm as it stretched as if it was made of rubber then snapped back.

There was a goal that needed to be accomplished…

"Next stop, the bank!"
