Peter Parker x MJ (MJ played by Katherine McNamara w/red hair)
It was the first fall for Peter Parker outside of school, he had officially graduated from high school in the spring and was already thriving on his own. He worked part-time as an Avenger and had his apartment in the Queens area. The apartment wasn't too far away from his Aunt May's, yet too close so he still had some independence. While his career as an Avenger went on past his high school days, his relationship with MJ did not. The two had broken up a few months before graduation, finding that a much-needed break was needed and that they needed to focus more on their schooling. MJ was also moving off to college, so she felt the need to focus on that part of her life more than her relationship with the Amazing Spider-Man.
It was around 10 am when Peter finally woke up. He yawned and stretched before reaching over to grab his phone off of his neighboring nightstand. He stopped in awe as he saw a familiar name pop on his phone screen. It was a text message from MJ. He sat in shock, silently reading over the message she had set him. The message was simple, standing that she was doing well in college and was coming home for her fall break.
He then froze once again as his eyes landed on the question that followed her greeting, "would you like to get together sometime?" He reread the message to ensure he didn't misread anything.
Peter looked away from his phone, trying to think of what to say and how to say it. He finally picked up his phone and moved to type his reply. "Sure," The message said before sending it.
He then internally screamed, "sure?" He spoke to himself in embarrassment before quickly typing up a longer reply to her message. "I would love to get together" He started, "maybe pizza?" He sent his final reply before getting out of his bed and rushing through his morning routine.
A shower, change of clothes then finally breakfast. He sat down with his plate of eggs and toast, glancing at his phone as he took a sip of orange juice. Nothing yet from Mj. He started to panic, did he say something wrong? Did his "sure" throw her off? He took a bite of toast and felt his phone buzz, immediately glancing at it in hope that she had replied. He sighed as he saw it was only Ned sending him a link to a Lego set ad he saw online.
Breakfast was finally complete and the dishes followed after. He started to do a small workout in his living room, keeping a close eye on his phone. Finally, a message from Mj had arrived. She agreed and explained how pizza sounded amazing. Peter then invited her to his place, offering pizza to be delivered to his place and a nice movie to go with it.
"As long as it's not that one movie about aliens'' MJ replied after, "how does 7 sound?" She asked after.
Peter moved to reply immediately, excitement washing over. "Sounds good to me, I will see you then." He sent the message before turning back to his home workout.
Throughout the day Peter spent his day cleaning his apartment which was filled with dirty laundry that he hadn't gotten to do yet from being Spider-Man, but he had made arrangements to do this over the weekend, he would quickly shovel things into the laundry hamper before kicking his closet closed. The next thing the young adult would do is collect the mail which had always been slipped to him under the door, all of which was rent due.
It was a good thing he had this month's rent on time, he had always been late by a week but he still paid which meant he was allowed to stay for the rest of the month. Once the young man had finished with all of the cleaning (and yes this included mopping and sweeping) it would've been five in the afternoon. 'How did time pass that quickly?' he asked himself but shook the question away as if it was nothing, he had to make sure to impress MJ in case she had wanted to get back together with him.
Peter would then text MJ 'Hey, I know this is out of the blue but what kind of pizza would you like?'
MJ took a few moments to reply to the message, "anything but anchovies. I do like pineapple." She responded.
Peter heard his phone go off and would then respond "Alright, I'll order a bacon and Pineapple pizza then, I'll see you hopefully soon." He said not knowing how far away she was and was nervous that he had said something wrong.
However, there was no response from Mary Jane, which made Peter stop everything he was doing and pace, moving back and forth. He was stressed, had he said something wrong. He wasn't entirely sure and went to pick up his phone to see if she was messaging, but as he did there was a knock on his door. Walking over to the door, Peter would look through the peephole to see Mary Jane Watson holding the pizza he had ordered for them both. Sighing with relief he'd open the door and would invite her in.
MJ was wearing a trenchcoat and would also be holding the pizza that Peter had ordered, walking in she would set the pizza onto the small table in the apartment before turning around to face him with a small smile as he closed the door.
As Peter turned around and would walk over to MJ before kissing her head lightly out of kindness really, but placing his hands at her hips he found that there weren't any layers of clothing underneath the trenchcoat which she was wearing. Which the man had tons of questions about really. "Someone's being sexy aren't they?" He asked with a small smirk as he looked at her.
