The war in Graznavia started suddently.
I was in Pogoren.
There was something in the air that hinted that something was wrong, before the conflict exploded.
The next moment, bombs and mortar fire were falling from the sky.
I had to do something.
The Grazni Army was made by the rotten apples of this country; sadist psychos and war criminals.
So I guessed that the Vyseni rebels were the good guys, right?
I knew I had to join the fight instead of dying while laying on a dirty floor.
The city was already in ruins.
I ran towards the nearest "Recruitment Center", which was a school some days before.
The "boss" welcome me.
He gave me an AK rifle and a ragged uniform.
Well, it was more like an hoodie.
It was gray and surely used by somebody else that could not reclaim it anymore.
The blood stains were a clue.
He made me shot some empty cans.
I had some experience with firearms so it was easy.
The "boss" was impressed.
He escorted me to the headquarters.
Other rebels were chilling and most were smoking and chatting.
The "boss" showed me, my bed.
It was a dirty matress on the floor.
He said.
"You should sleep now. You have guard duty tonight."
So I lay off and slept a dreamless sleep.
Sounds of gunfire woke me up.
I was confused but I grabbed my rifle.
I headed towards the sound of the gunshots.
Outside of the former school, there were black uniformed men shooting at us.
The Grazni Army.
From our side, a lot of wounded.
I started shooting back, aiming to them.
They kept coming.
So I went to a machine gun positioned on a wall nearby.
It was an old DShK.
I started using it, and hit the incoming wave of enemies.
Then my instinct told me to go away.
I ran to the inside.
As soon as I was inside, there was an explosion.
That was a close one.
That mortar could have killed me.
I went upstair and tried to snipe the last enemies.
I could barely see anything due the smoke and darkness.
Then silence.
The enemy retreated.
I went back to the school courtyard.
At least half of my comrades died.
I didn't even knew their names.
It was just the first day and first night.
