Well, until two people from my other story respond to my pm I will be putting that on hold! Hopefully, it won't be long if they don't respond however anytime soon I will continue it! Now, for this new story a simple concept. It is a syoc story which means pm for the form! Sadly unlike my other one, I will be taking three characters for the main central focus after those three everyone will be side characters but will make an appearance and have some sort of significance.

I do not own RWBY!

Fear. The simple emotion is what drove people to conduct acts despite their character, it's what drove humans into the corner. It bought out everyone's darkest thoughts and true colors.

Life could be summarized in many different forms, yet without any logical sense behind it could one truly ponder the concept of it? Rapid screams were heard throughout the small village, clouds of smoke engulfing the skies. The smell of burning flesh lingering in the air like a virus. The village was going down the drain anyway why not speed up the process? The warriors put up a decent fight against attackers, sadly no one was strong enough to even come close to injuring the 'leader'. She put them down one by one; it was light work to her.

Bright red eyes pierced the moon up above, a sigh escaping her vocals cords forcing her rather dry lips to part. The sounds of people pleading and screaming for mercy never took a toll on her mental state, in this world only a selective group could survive. The female's heels planted into the dirt firmly, this life was only customary to her nothing could change it. She wasn't complaining, this was all part of the plan. Right?

Her head snapped towards the left, the sound of someone shuffling their feet caught her attention; they were trying to be quiet possibly to escape? She couldn't allow that. It was only a matter of seconds before she appeared in front of the child? Red hues narrowed like a predator zoning in on its prey. The child tensed their golden orbs staring up into emotionless red. Nothing was said, but their body was shaking with fear despite that they pushed the smaller boy behind them. Fist balled up, crimson liquid stained on their cheek. She could tell from their gaze alone they would fight no matter the handicap, foolish. It was utterly foolish. Still, she had to commend them not many could stare into the eyes of Raven Branwen with the thought of fighting to the death. Maybe if this was a fairy tale the child would've won? Not likely.

A male opened his eyes ruby-colored eyes glaring into the blue sky, he remembered it like it was yesterday. The sound of the blade ripping his elder sister to shreds, the necklace she gave him before she passed. His index finger brushed up against the locket around his neck, the gentle breeze blowing his white hair to the side. It was an odd turn of events, his family easily wiped away with the rest of his village. Sure, he was young but did that didn't mean much he should've gone with them instead fate bought upon him something much worse than death. "Kuro! The boss wants you!" Ruby colored orbs shot towards the lackey that called his name, fate was indeed playing with him.

After all these years...his boots splat against the ground dust forming from his steps...his legs pushed towards the hunt the 'boss' stayed in. Even if he was granted life...what type of life was this? He was a simple slave in his own view. He entered her quarter's bright eyes staring into a slightly darker tone of red almost blood-like. He was working for...his families killer he was raised by this vile woman. Whatever innocence he harbored before now long gone the deeds he done overwritten it long ago. He vowed to kill her one day...when that day came who knew but he was certain he would be the one to take her life. "Good news, you get to go on an extended task for me..." The glint in her eyes sent a shiver down his spine, he didn't respond which she has grown accustomed too. Kuro was filled with questions that would never be answered, why him? Why spare his life? "Beacon academy...home to many future Huntsmen and Huntresses...Ozpin a formidable foe...you are going to go undercover...inflirtrate the school dig up information on what is going on." Her voice didn't waiver once her expression was as dull as ever. He gulped there was no room to decline in her eyes she owned him...he was a simple slave. "I will handle transcripts and everything else your job is to find out what he is formulating I will expect daily check-ins...and don't go running away.." She stood tall, yet that didn't stop her from looking up at him he wasn't a short child no more he was taller than her and she despised that. It was swift the jab in his side, all feeling in his right leg going out his nerves spiking in his head. He collapsed onto his knee, his teeth smashed together as he bit down the pain that wanted to escape.

"I will find you always." Her tone alone made the thought vanish, he didn't dare look into the female's eyes he merely nodded before standing to take his leave. Raven merely rolled his eyes, she didn't trust him completely sure she trained him that didn't mean she could trust him. Her gaze went over to her blade, he was simply expendable if he got caught he knew what that meant everyone in the tribe did. "Let's see how this plays out."

Kuro moved slowly if he protected himself she would've just kept going until she was satisfied, his lean figure moved towards his sleeping quarters anything could happen on this task-the fact Raven was making him do this either meant he was the best gifted in this situation or it was a death wish. Either way, he was oddly pleased to get out of this hell hole.

PM! Me for the form, be prepared I may not accept your character for multiple reasons though. If I feel your character is slightly op I will ask you to tone them down! Besides that send your forms! I will most likely dedicate a chapter to each main character for the intro! So be detailed.
