Angel: Alright...my first Randy Cunningham fic! I don't even know what to say XD Well, hi everyone. Um, I will say that there might be some continuity issues. Any website or app I use to watch these episodes has a different order than it lists on the Disney wiki, so I actually have to put numbers next to my files so that I don't get confused. And I'm following the order of both the Disney wiki and the RC wiki.

Also, they list the episodes WAY different on Disney +, which I started using to write this like…since the 10th episode. For example, Silent Punch, Deadly Punch is episode 22 on the streaming app…but on both wikis, it's supposed to be episode 15. I'm not even ON episode 22 XD I'm basically going back and forth whether I go in order of the app or jumping around random episodes to follow the wikis' episode lists!

For my sake, I'm going with the order from the wikis for the most part. I will be switching some episodes around in the future. And this does mean I'm gonna be writing episodes in the wrong order for now. That doesn't mean that I'm gonna go on hiatus just so I can get to episode 22 on Disney plus. I'll just go ahead and write the 15th episode and then go back to where I was XD. I just wish the app had this in order. At first they didn't even have all the episodes. Either way, websites will have it different. And I do know some aren't reliable on my phone, so I'm sticking with Disney plus to write this…

Anyway, enjoy, while I continue writing random episodes XD

In the city of Norrisville in Norrisville High, students go back to school after summer break.

"Well freshman, I know you're all bummed to be back at school..." The English teacher, Mr. Bannister, says casually while clapping his hands, until he suddenly shouts in their faces. "Well SO AM I!"

Suddenly, the principal bursts the door open. "Students, we have a new student joining us," He gestures to the hallway. "Meet Amelia Smith!"

A lightly-tanned girl with green eyes and light brown hair in a bun steps into the room, holding a pink bag. Dark purple horn-rimmed glasses are over her face with white gems on the side of the lenses. Her clothes are a dark purple vest over a pink long-sleeved blouse, a black tutu skirt, black see-through leggings with pink polka dots over them, and purple ankle-length boots.

"Please make her feel welcome," He gestures to the girl, who waves nervously. "Miss Smith, why don't you introduce yourself?"

"Uh...I..."

Every student has their eyes on her and her knees are shaking. For some reason, she couldn't talk, even though she had a proper speech prepared.

"Um...my name is Amelia, but call me Amy...I'm 14, and..."

Because of her nerves, she lets out a loud "Nice to meet you all!"

She bows her head, panting a little.

"That's it?"

She looks up to see a short obese boy with short orange hair, his arm casually around the back of his chair.

"That introduction was a little short," A boy with purple hair, his bangs hanging over his face calls out, "Tell us more."

"Um..."

She stays silent for about five minutes before she speaks up again.

"Alright," Amy clears her throat, "Like I said before, I prefer Amy instead of Amelia. I'm 14 years old, and you might not find me much around here, but that's because I'm always studying. But what you can know is that I like having fun."

"Now that's a proper introduction!" The purple-haired boy points at her, the class nodding in agreement. Amy laughs a little, smiling at them.

"It's nice to meet you all," She bows her head more confidently.

"Alright, Miss Smith," Mr. Bannister looks around the room. "I'll assign you a seat..." She waits for a few seconds and he points to a seat next to the taller purple-haired boy. "Sit there, beside Mr. Cunningham, please."

"Over here," The boy waves her over and she nods, finally sitting down at her seat. "Randy," He holds out his hand and they both shake. "He's Howard, my best bud," He jerks a thumb to the short boy in front of him.

"Sup," He waves casually.

"Thanks for the save," Amy smiles in relief.

"Five hundred words! What you did on your summer vacation!" The teacher slams down pieces of paper on his stapler.

The two teenagers look at their papers.

Name: Randy Cunningham, Grade: 9, Title: What I did on my summer-

Howard peeks directly in front of his desk. "Cunningham, let me copy off ya," He whispers to the boy.

"Howard, we can't turn in the exact same essay," Randy leans back in his seat.

"But we had the exact same summer."

"You did?" Amy drops her pencil. A shoe is suddenly thrown directly at the back of Howard's head, and he rubs it, turning to the teacher that has one shoe on, the other one with bunions on top of it...Amy sticks out her tongue in disgust.

"No talking!" He yells to the boys.

Well, it wasn't the exact same...

Randy ran into his room, followed by his best friend. I mean, it started out the same. He ripped open Grave Puncher, their favorite game and immediately started playing. Then when Grave Puncher 2 came out, they played it. Same thing with Grave Puncher 3.

But then a week ago, something epic happened.

"Congratulations. You have punched all the graves." The TV announced, the two boys doing their signature hand-shake.

And the day after that, something even epic-er happened.

When Randy opened up the door to his room, he was surprised to find a red box sitting on his table. Looking to the right, a creepy guy left the room and he saw the 9 symbol on top of the box. Opening it up, a book with many symbols glowed red.

"The Ninja Nomicon," He read the title, throwing the book over his shoulder. He wasn't much of a book reader, anyway. He saw a note from a piece of paper.

"You are the Ninja. Oh my SWEET!" He held up a black ninja mask with red lines on it. "I have to tell Howard!"

Then he glanced behind him, noticing another note. "You can't tell anyone. Aw, that's wonk!" Grinning, he put on the mask, red and black lines sprouting from his body. They surrounded him and covered him in a black and red ninja suit, along with a red scarf.

Listen, I don't know how it works, but the ninja suit is the straight-up cheese. Randy landed on the ground, standing up and looking bruce. It lets me do things I could never, ever do. He punched a robot to pieces, flipping around and punching an alien figure, and then kicking the head off of a purple teddy plush.

I am Randy Cunningham. I am the Ninja! It's pretty much the coolest thing ever. Only bummer is, I can't tell anyone.

He frowns towards Howard on his left, who's scratching his armpit with his pencil. Not even my best friend. And apparently, I'm supposed to have a partner. She's called the Kunoichi, and it's wonk! I work alone! The Ninja doesn't need help! He helps other people!

"Pencils down," Mr. Bannister suddenly announces, snatching papers away from students. As he gets closer to Randy, he's cringing.

And now I'm realizing this probably wasn't the best topic for my essay. He cringes at his paper, as he wrote Ninja several times. Randy quickly rips the paper into shreds, showing it to the teacher with a big smile.

"...What's this supposed to be?"

"Uh, my commentary on the fleeting nature of summer?" Randy smiles a little, hoping that would work.

"Hmm, excellent use of metaphor." The teacher smiles proudly.

"Aced it!" Randy pumps his fists.

"I'll give you a B."

"B'ced it!" Randy cheers again, Amy snickering behind her hand.

"Are you always this lucky?"

"No, not really," He turns to her with a shrug.

Out in the hallway, a blonde boy in band uniform is running down the hall, holding the back of his pants. "Go away, Bash! I don't want a wedgie!" He runs past the boys and a larger one with brown hair twirls a piece of underwear on his finger.

"I already gave you a wedgie! I just wanna give you your change!" He chases after Bucky.

"Can we talk about this Ninja situation?" Howard walks down the hall.

"N-Ninja situation? There is no ninja situation," Randy says nervously as he follows after his friend.

"Exactly! The No-Ninja Situation! We've been in Norrisville High for two days, and we haven't seen this guy once!" Howard exclaims with a frown. "And not to mention the year of the first Kunoichi in practically forever!"

"I think he has to wait for like a monster or a robot to attack..." Randy shrugs at him.

"Why aren't you mad about this? We are their number one fans!" Howard gestures to himself, glaring at the ground.

"I mean, it's not like he can just smoke bomb on by for a meet and greet." Randy smiles with an idea. "Or...can he? But a Kunoichi? Come on! Don't you think the Ninja should work alone?"

"No, because the Kunoichi is his partner!" Howard shouts at him, gaining the attention of Amy, who just happens to be standing nearby. "You can't have one without the other, Cunningham!"

"K-Kunoichi?" Amy stammers anxiously, acting just as weird as Randy was moments before. "I don't know, Howard, Randy seems to be on the right track, but about the Ninja," She places a textbook inside of her locker, quickly zipping her bag that glows pink inside. Randy's bag glows red as well, but only briefly.

"Hm?" Randy glances at his bag, shaking his head. It could've been nothing...

"Are you both wonked in the head?!" Howard stares at the two of them as the girl closes her locker.

"No, I don't think so," Randy glances at the brunette.

"It's probably just new school resentment or something," She waves it off.

"No, and-"

"Alright," Randy covers his mouth, looking back towards Amy. "So Amy, since you're new here and all, we could show you around."

"No way!" Howard removes the hand, pointing to himself and Randy. "We're a duo, Cunningham! And we're not accepting additions!"

"Dude," Randy slaps the back of his head a little. "Be nice, she just got here."

"Oh, thank you, but I don't think your friend would be too happy," Amy points to Howard, waving at them. "I'll find my own way."

"Good!" Howard shouts after her, about to walk off. "Now let's go back to the N-"

He doesn't feel Randy's presence, turning around to see the boy running after Amy. "Seriously?!"

"Amy, wait," Randy comes to a stop in front of her and she adjusts her glasses, slightly startled. "Howard's a little...Howard, but I promise he can be a good guy when he wants to be. Come on, let me show you around."

"Well..." She stares at him, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "If it's no trouble...then sure, I'll let you be my tour guide."

"Right this way, my lady," He gestures to a corner and she rolls her eyes in amusement, walking past him. Howard narrows his eyes at this. They were so going to have a talk about this...

At the center of Norrisville is McFist Industries, owned by Hannibal McFist, the richest man in the world. By his side is his scientific assistant, Willem Viceroy. Both of them are talking to a skull-like being with green skin and a brown cloak, projected by a chamber.

"You promised me you would destroy the Ninjas!" He says bitterly.

"But I haven't seen them all summer," McFist tugs on his collar nervously. "Have you seen them, Viceroy?"

"I haven't seen them," Viceroy gestures to himself, a finger on his chin. "Then again, they are both ninjas so stealth is kind of their dealio."

"We have a plan," McFist's mechanical arm starts acting out. "The next time they poke their little ninja heads out of their ninja-hiding hole...BAM!" He slams his robotic arm into the flesh one. "Destroyed!"

The skull man roars, the office briefly quaking. "Do...Not...Fail...Me!" And with that warning, he disappears.

They stand there in silence until the phone rings, startling both of them. McFist picks up the phone. "Mr. McFist, your wife is on the line."

He tries to grab the receiver, with his mechanical arm spazzing out. He gains back control and takes a deep breath. He then holds up the phone to his ear, acting as if nothing happened.

"Hey sugar-face!" He smiles, listening to her, "I'm a little busy here...Of course, I'll meet you there, Honey-Cakes." Then he slams the phone back into place, repeating this action again furiously before slumping into his chair. "How am I supposed to run an evil empire when my stepson keeps getting into trouble AT SCHOOL?!"

"Kids," Viceroy scoffs at him.

"Just get down to your lab and build me something deadly, something dangerous, something with a cupholder!" His arm goes out of control again, smashing a coffee cup to bits. "You know what? Forget the cupholder. Just make it deadly."

Viceroy hums as he crosses cupholder off the list.

The bell rings for lunch and Howard is cleaning his plate clean. He frowns until he sees Randy's lunch unattended. "Cunningham, I know you're in the can," He calls out softly, "But if you don't want me to eat your tater lumps, just say so," He crawls across the table and grabs one before his hand is smacked.

"OW!"

He looks up to see Amy holding her tray of food. "Really, Howard?"

"You don't know anything about us!" Howard points up to her in anger. "Cunningham might be swayed, but I know your best friend-stealing ways, witch!"

"I intend to do nothing of the sort," She sighs a little. "I know you don't like me, and I understand why, but-"

"Smoke bomb!"

A red puff of smoke appears right next to them, revealing Randy in the ninja suit. Everyone gasps, stopping what they're doing.

"Hello, students! Tis I, THE NINJA!" He shouts as everyone gathers around him, cheering. Amy just rolls her eyes at his attitude.

"Finally, yes! NIN-JA!" Howard yells in excitement. "Hey, cork out, Cunningham! The Ninja just showed up!"

"Hey, Ninja, where's the Kunoichi?"

"Yeah, where's your partner?"

Amy glances around the room as they flock around the Ninja, asking questions about the Kunoichi.

"Oh, that shoob?" The Ninja laughs, waving it off. "How do we know she even exists? She's the first Kunoichi in years, but you're looking at the only hero Norrisville needs!"

She narrows her eyes and drops her tray, heading towards the bathroom. Zipping open her backpack, the brunette looks at the white mask with pink lines and a book tucked away. She didn't even want to show up because it's not about showboating, but she'll show him who's a shoob!

Amy slips on the mask, white and pink lines overtaking her body. Her top is formed first, then her arms, and then her legs. Her hair turns pure white before it grows into a floor-length braid that's shaped like a scorpion's tail. Her ninja suit is essentially the same as Randy's, but white instead of black with pink highlights, and her glasses have been removed. Her scarf that's as long as her hair is pink.

In the principal's office, Hannibal McFist, his wife Marci McFist, and his stepson Bash Johnson are sitting across from Principal Slimovitz.

"In these two days at school alone," Slimovitz reports from his laptop, "Bash has given 66 wedgies, 32 swirlies, and a chaga-newga gravy bowl."

"Is that even a real thing?" McFist asks in boredom, tapping his metal fingers against the chair's arm. The principal simply turns around the laptop and the sight causes both parents to cringe and/or scream.

"Sweet potatoes!" Marci murmurs, covering her mouth.

"Oh yeah!" Bash pumps his fists.

"Oh Principal Slimovitz, I just don't believe my little Bashford would ever do anything like that," Marci says in her sweet-like voice.

"Yeah Ma, he's framing me!" Bash points an accusing finger, but it has a piece of ripped underwear on it. He yelps and hides his hand behind his back.

"Hey, the Ninja's in the cafeteria!" A student runs past the office, followed by a flock of other excited students. Slimovitz stands up excitedly.

"Oh, the Ninja!" He looks at the McFists, Hannibal gritting his teeth at the mention of his name. "Let's say we take a fiver," The man runs out of his office, followed by Bash, leaving the two parents alone.

"I'm escaping!"

"Oh, go on," Marci waves a hand. "If you don't destroy the Ninja, it's all you'll talk about on the ride home."

"You know what? You're the best!" He kisses his wife on the cheek, running out the door.

At McFist Industries, the phone rings and Viceroy sighs at being interrupted, answering it. "McFist Industries, evil genius Viceroy speaking."

"The Ninja's at the school," McFist whispers into his phone, pushing past students. "Right now! Release the...the thing!"

"His name is Krakenstein."

"RELEASE THE KRAKENSTEIN!" McFist yells in frustration, gaining the attention of some students. He looks around awkwardly.

Viceroy uses a taser to shock the Krakenstein to life. It has six arms as Viceroy laughs a little. "Go forth, my Krakenstein, and destroy the Ninja!" The Krakenstein roars loudly in his face before just standing there. "Oh, he's about yay high, red scarf, black suit—wait, maybe it's navy blue."

The monster roars again before running towards the wall, making a giant hole in it. "No, you're right, it is black. You never wear red with a navy blue."

Back at the school, McFist glares at his enemy with hatred.

A pink cloud appears across from Ninja, causing him to turn around. "What the juice?!"

The Kunoichi stands there, clenching her fists. She narrows her eyes as she recognizes her counterpart immediately.

"Ninja."

He glares right back at her. "Kunoichi."

"There's a female ninja," McFist murmurs in disdain before realizing what he said. "There's a female ninja?!"

The crowd murmurs in excitement at her appearance, looking between her and the Ninja. "Listen Kunoichi, I may have jumped the gun a little. You're obviously real, but I work alone."

"That's funny, I was gonna say the same thing to you," She smirks, earning an ooo from the crowd.

"Glad we agree, you can return your suit, and I'll keep mine," Ninja gestures to himself.

"Think you're smug, Ninja?" She mocks him, hands on her hips. "You need me more than I need you."

"Cunningham is totally missing this bruce banter," Howard mutters under his breath.

"That is so wonk!" The Ninja points at her. "You need me way more!"

"Ha! Don't make me laugh. At least I showed up for these students and not for glory!"

The crowd is jeering at the whole exchange.

"That's not-" Ninja stammers, feeling like he was caught red-handed, and he was, but obviously he'd never admit. "Whatever! As a Ninja, a real one, I must be prepared at any moment to do this!" He punches in the air. "And this!" He does an air kick, "And how can I forget THIS!" He air kicks again to Howard's awe before striking a pose, looking towards Kunoichi. "Try and top that, sweetheart."

Kunoichi scoffs and backflips into the air. She jumps onto various tables, doing a 360 spin and landing in the center of the room. She flips her braid and it hits Ninja in the face, causing him to growl a little.

"Well, you've been great, everybody! Except you," He points at Kunoichi, who rolls her eyes. This was supposed to be her partner? A reckless and irresponsible shoob? "See ya next time, remember to tip those lunch ladies. Smoke bomb!"

"I can't believe we're paired up together," Kunoichi shakes her head, pulling out her own smoke bomb.

Before they can throw it, Howard grabs them by the legs. "No wait, Ninja! My buddy and I have been dying to meet you two since we were kids! Please, just hang out until he gets back."

"Aw, that's really cool of you," Ninja rubs the back of his head. As much as he wants to tell Howard, he still can't...which still frustrates him. "But we can't, we must go!"

And that's when the Krakenstein decides to storm into the cafeteria, sending the students into a panic.

"Yes, destroy! DESTROY!" McFist shouts from his hiding spot.

Ninja stares at the monster in somewhat excitement, Kunoichi's mouth wide open. "My first monster fight!" He mutters to himself, "So honking cool! Ninja flip!" He flips off the table, standing in front of the robot monster. "Monster-" Kunoichi lands next to him, "Kunoichi," He murmurs in dismay, "Get ready to get-"

Krakenstein punches them through the wall.

"Yeesh," Howard pulls out his phone, typing a text message to Randy. "Cunningham, get back here! The Ninjas are totally getting p'wned!"

The two crash into a row of lockers before Ninja hears his phone beep. He takes out his phone.

"Now? You're gonna check your text messages right now?!" Kunoichi exclaims in disbelief and he shushes her, to her annoyance.

He gives an offended look at the message. "I wouldn't say I'm getting p'wned," He mutters under his breath. The Krakenstein appears from behind the wall and snarls at them. Ninja flips into the air, Kunoichi spinning on the ground. He kicks it in the jaw while his 'partner' sweep kicks it, knocking it off its feet.

"I had that!" He yells at her, gesturing to the monster.

"Listen, this is my job, not yours," She narrows her eyes at him. The monster gets back up with a growl.

"Uh oh," Ninja knows what's coming next and the monster punches him in the face, sending him down a flight of stairs. "Oh man, I am getting p'wned..."

Suddenly, Kunoichi gets knocked into another wall, landing at the top of the stairs. "NINJA SPRINT!" He scurries out of the way, just before the Krakenstein lands where the Ninja was. Ninja runs into a bathroom and jumps into a stall. The Krakenstein crashes into the room and begins punching stalls open one at a time, until he finally finds the one the Ninja was hiding behind.

"I wasn't hiding from you, if that's what you think."

Before the thing could beat him up, its waist gets grabbed by a pink scarf. "Huh?" Ninja looks to where it came from to see Kunoichi struggling to pull it away. "What are you doing? I don't need your help!"

"Well, you got it, so if I were you, I'd say thank you!" She retorts before the Krakenstein breaks free and beats up the Ninja. Kunoichi jumps inside the stall and lands on the monster's head, giving Ninja enough time to escape. And then the bell rings and Ninja stares at the stall, remembering that it's stuck inside with Kunoichi.

"Kunoichi!" He shouts in a slight panic before she lands in front of him unscathed. "You gave me a heart attack!"

"I thought you didn't care," She crosses her arms and he scoffs, waving it off.

"I-I don't!" He stammers, realizing that he's supposed to hate her. "But apparently you did since you tried to save me!"

"Tried to?" She asks angrily. The bell goes off again and Ninja grabs a metal pipe, trapping the monster inside the stall. "See you never, Ninja," She throws down a smoke bomb, leaving a pink cloud around him.

"Huh, smells like strawberries..." He smiles slightly at the smell before shaking his head rapidly. "No, no! I don't like her! And now she's made me late for class!"

Randy gets out of his suit and slides into the classroom, crashing into someone's desk. "Sorry-" He looks up to see Amy. "A-Amy! Hey..." He waves at her in embarrassment before seeing that she's also out of breath. "Wait, did you get here before I did?"

"Um...maybe. I was...cleaning a window!" She stammers before internally facepalming. What the juice, did I just use cleaning the window as an excuse?

He gets into his seat to Howard. "Where have you been?! We were supposed to meet the Ninjas together. And between you and me, they were kind of stinking it up out there."

"Come on, Howard, we-" Randy defends before correcting himself, "Uh, the Ninjas was trying their best." He couldn't even believe he was defending his so-called partner all of a sudden. Well...she did help him out...but that didn't change his opinion either. "It's not like there are instructions for being the Ninja. The instructions!" He perks up in realization, standing up from his desk.

"I need to use the bathroom!" He declares dramatically, Amy raising a hand.

"I'll take him there, in case he gets lost!"

Randy stares at her in confusion as she runs past him, grabbing his hand. He stares at their palms in shock...it felt really warm.

"Sorry about this, gotta go, bye!" Amy lets go of him, running into the girl's bathroom. He blinks at the door, wondering what just happened.

"New girl is weird," He shrugs at her, "But I dig it!"

He quickly uses his bike to get home. "Hey Randy!" His neighbor greets as he rides past the man watering his lawn.

He runs into his bedroom, digging through his clothes until he finds the Ninja Nomicon. At first, he thought it was useless, but now he sees that it's supposed to help with being the Ninja.

"The Ninja Nomicon. Come on, baby, drop some sick ninja knowledge on me."

Amy gets into a stall from the empty bathroom, removing the same book that Randy has from her backpack, but it glows pink and is named the Kunoichi Nomicon.

"Okay, what do I do about that insane monster?" She murmurs, opening the book the same time as Randy. Light shines from the pages and their bodies go limp at the same time as the two enter the mythical world of the Nomicon. The two teenagers fall through various pages that have animated pages of ninjas and monsters. Randy suddenly slams into something and lands roughly on the ground. Amy lands on paper and it bounces her into the air, turning her around so she can see the words.

Randy rubs the back of his head, looking up to see the same words that Amy is seeing.

Believe in the weapon that is in the suit. The Ninja and Kunoichi must combine their hearts as one to prevail.

"Oh, you honestly expect me to work with that idiot?!" Amy lands on the ground, pacing as she crosses her arms.

"No honking way!" Randy seems to be on the same opinion as Amy, frowning as he's also pacing. "She's stubborn-"

"He's inconsiderate-"

"Doesn't know when to quit-"

"Wants all the glory-"

"She's cramping my style-"

"He has no consideration-"

"And I can't work with him/her!" They shout at the same time in frustration. Arrows just point to the advice again, lightning flashing into both their pages.

"Okay, okay, we'll try," They recoil back in slight fear before reading the first sentence again.

Randy tries to process the advice. "Okay, what's in the suit?" He asks himself, "I'm in the suit, I'm the weapon! I just have to believe in me!"

"Hm," Amy rubs her chin. "Well, it's gotta be something in the suit, right? But combining our hearts? As in working together? Ugh, man..."

Their minds are returned to their bodies and Amy slams the book shut. "Stupid partner, stupid N-" She stops herself as the Nomicon flashes at her. "Alright, alright, I'll suck it up and...work together with him," She pouts, pointing at the book. "But I won't like it."

Randy rides his bike back to school and rushes down the hallway. Amy is running in the opposite direction when Howard trips him, causing him to tumble and knock right into Amy. They roll to a stop on the floor, her glasses falling off. Her book in her bag slides to a stop near them.

"Ow..." She holds her head, eyes closed.

"Ugh...listen, I'm really sorry, I-"

He opens his eyes at the person he fell on, his heart stopping. A blush comes to his face as Amy opens her eyes, seeing him on top of her, his hands slightly gripping her arms. For some reason...she looks...very cute without glasses on...

"Hey, perfect, you're back," Howard's voice interrupts, seeing their position. "Whoa, Cunningham, already making the moves on the new girl?"

"Huh?" Randy blinks before realizing how this looks. "Oh, um, I-I-prett-uh, sorry, Amy. I-I wasn't looking where I was going." He scrambles off of her, rubbing his neck. His heart was literally pounding as he's sweating. W-What was this feeling?

She clears her throat awkwardly, putting her glasses over her face. "It...happens," The girl murmurs quietly, brushing away some loose strands of hair.

"I got some great news," Howard starts off as Randy picks up Amy's bag, giving it to her.

"Sorry Howard," He helps Amy up and she dusts herself off. "But I have to, um-"

The bell rings, interrupting him. "No! NO!" Howard jumps, hugging him tightly. "You're going to stick around for this! Yeah, turns out the Ninjas couldn't beat that monster, so they just locked it in a basement stall!"

"Do you have to have this conversation now? People are staring," Amy whispers, Randy shrugging to the students passing by.

"So I let it out."

"YOU DID WHAT?!" The two teenagers exclaim, dumbfounded.

"Yeah, now the Ninjas have to come back, and we can see 'em in action, together," Howard points between him and Randy, his best friend and Amy dragging hands down their faces.

"Howard, do you have ANY IDEA-"

Before Amy could finish chewing him out, the front half of a car suddenly smashes through the wall. The three look outside to see the Krakenstein wreaking havoc. Amy and Randy look troubled. "You guys wanna...maybe now or later? Or how should we do this?"

McFist runs into the school yard. "Where the heck is watches-krak?!" He sees the monster throw what was left of the car. "There he is!"

"MY CAR!" Principal Slimovitz shouts in horror.

"Ninja action!" Howard answers, looking at the sight in awe. "Courtesy of mawa. Who's the best friend ever?" He tries to give Randy a belly bump, but he and Amy are both gone. "Huh? Are you kidding me?!"

The monster throws away a piece of debris.

"Smoke bomb!" Ninja appears in front of the car, flipping and taking a stance.

"Ninja! Ninja! Ninja!"

"Smoke bomb!"

Kunoichi appears from behind the monster. "Kunoichi! Kunoichi! Kunoichi!"

"You again," Ninja crosses his arms at her, standing up.

"The feeling's mutual. Look, I know we have our differences, but we both know that we can't do this alone," She holds up her arms as a sign of peace. "So let's just get this over with."

"Fine with me. I believe in me. I believe in me. I believe in me...kicking your butt," Ninja murmurs to himself, waving the monster forward. He punches all six of his arms, charging towards him. The Ninja jumps up and uses one of the arms to lift himself up into the air. Kunoichi jumps off his shoulder, Ninja doing a midair twist and kicking it in the face. Kunoichi spins around, kicking it in the face as a double attack. They face the monster on opposite sides, who tries to punch Ninja, but he repeatedly blocks the blows.

"Ninja block! Ninja block! Ninja block! Ninja block! Ninja block! And...NINJA BLOCK!" He kicks one of the arms into the face, Kunoichi leaping and kicking him in the chest, sending it flying across the grass. "Who's getting p'wned now?!" He gives the cheering crowd a two finger salute, causing Kunoichi to roll her eyes.

Krakenstein snaps out of it, an arm growing from its chest. "What?!" Ninja exclaims as it comes right towards him.

"Secret arm!" McFist says in excitement, staying as quiet as possible. "That is so Viceroy!"

Kunoichi jumps up and grabs Ninja, leaping away from the attack. They slide to a stop and Ninja glances at her. "Get it together, okay? You're pretty slow."

"Slow?! Me?!" She screeches at him. She had literally just saved his life, he could at least be grateful. They move out of the way, watching as he slams down an arm. Ninja leaps over it, watching Kunoichi spinning around. While dodging attacks, they bump right into each other, ducking just in time.

"Oh come on! They're not even in sync!" Howard gestures to them. Even if they could work together, they're just way too different!

"I don't get it," Ninja mutters as he dodges punches. "I'm believing, but what else could be in the suit? What do Kunoichi and I have to do?"

Kunoichi jumps in front of him and spins, kicking the monster in the jaw and distracting it for a moment. He reaches out towards his partner, interlocking his fingers with hers.

"Kuno."

Her eyes widen at the sudden touch, looking at their hands. She nods in understanding on what he's asking and they wait for the monster to charge towards them. When it happens, Ninja jumps up.

"One, two-"

However, Kunoichi yelps in surprise and Krakenstein's head hits her foot, causing both of them to fall. Ninja lands on top of Kunoichi and glares down at her.

"What are you doing?!" He shouts at his 'partner.'

"You were too fast!" She glares up at him.

"You can do it, Ninjas!" Howard yells at the duo. "Just do it again!"

They glance to each other and go back to their normal positions. "One, two," Kunoichi starts off, jumping up. The arm of the monster hits Ninja's foot this time, causing the same accident yet again. Kunoichi sits up, glaring this time. "And you said I was too slow?!"

"Your timing was off that time!" He points up at her, Howard waving his hands.

"Uhhh, Ninjas?!"

They turn around, dodging the next attack. Ninja grits his teeth. How could they defeat him when she wouldn't even get it together? Krakenstein walks up to them, and Howard decides that he's had enough watching them get p'wned.

"Ninja! Kunoichi! That thing needs to get his butt kicked!" They turn around to him, "If you don't stop wonking it, it won't be bruce! You gotta work together!"

The two Ninjas glare at each other slightly before slowly realizing that he was right...no matter what they thought of the other, especially given their thoughts on working alone, they were chosen to work as a team. And together, they had to protect their city...

"The Ninja and Kunoichi must combine their hearts as one to prevail..." They murmur slowly as they look towards Krakenstein.

"We have to work together," They nod at each other, Ninja taking her hand and gripping it tightly.

"But I still don't get it. I'm believing, but what else could be in the suit?"

"Wait, that's what you got from the Nomicon?" Kunoichi asks in confusion, digging around her back. "And why do I get the feeling that-"

She pulls out a white tessen from her back. "Ah, believe in the weapon that is in the suit!" Ninja exclaims in understanding. He pulls out a sword and together, they sprint towards Krakenstein, Ninja slicing off the extra arm. "That makes way more sense."

"No duh," Kunoichi retorts before smirking. "Ready this time?"

"One," He moves his right foot.

"Two," She moves her left foot.

"Three!"

Still holding hands, they flip, kicking the monster backwards. "Let's do this," Ninja grips his sword. The monster runs up to them, but they swing their weapons multiple times, slicing and dicing it. The arms completely fall off before it crumbles to its knees and splits in half. Most students are disturbed, one of them even running off to throw up. The Ninjas look towards their hands and quickly pull apart, looking away from each other awkwardly.

"NOOOOOOOOO..." McFist cries in defeat, dropping his scream when he sees students glaring at him. "Way, dudes?" He smiles and he slouches. "That was awesome...!" He obviously didn't mean it as he walks away.

They smile towards one another behind the masks. "Maybe you're not as slow as I thought you were."

"And maybe you're not as irresponsible," She smirks, crossing her arms.

"Pick this up next time, partner?"

"I'll be ready...partner," She holds out her fist and they fist bump, wiggling their fingers, cementing their partnership.

"Smoke bomb, smoke bomb, smoke bomb!" The students cheer as they gather around the two.

The duo grin at each other, throwing them down at the same time. "Smoke bomb!" They declare, disappearing into a cloud of pink and red smoke.

Randy runs up to Howard out of the suit, hiding the mask behind his back. "Hey Howard."

"What, you think I'm some sort of chowder head?" Howard crosses his arms.

Randy doesn't really understand, rubbing the back of his neck. "I...don't know how to answer that."

"I know what you've been up to," The obese boy points up to him accusingly.

"You do?"

"Yeah," Howard says with a chuckle, "First you and Smith are gone, Ninjas are here. Then, they're gone, and you're here." He gives his best friend a sly smile. "I know your secret, man."

"Howard, listen, I wanted to tell-"

"Well, it's too late now," Howard interrupts, holding his hand in front of Randy's face. "Yeah, I figured it all out...with my mind."

Instead of being nervous, Randy places his hands on Howard's shoulders. "This is such a relief. It's been killing me that I couldn't tell you."

"I mean, sneaking off so you and Amy can have some alone time every time the Ninjas show up," He doesn't notice the red flashing lights until after he finishes his sentence, gasping as his jaw drops at Randy transforming into the Ninja.

"Wait, you're the Ninja? My best friend's the Ninja! Oh, this is incredible! I'm gonna tell everyone!"

"You can't tell anyone," Randy shakes his head.

"Well, that stinks," He slouches in disappointment before perking up. "Does this mean you know the Kunoichi's identity too?!"

"No, and I think she'd agree that we shouldn't know who we really are. It could be dangerous," Randy tells him, frowning a little behind the mask. If anyone knew that the Ninjas knew each other's identities, it would cause only more alarm to future enemies.

"Well that stinks too," Howard pouts at this.

"No Howard, this stinks!" Randy holds up another smoke bomb. "Smoke bomb!" He throws it and Howard coughs at the smell.

"Oh man, those things smell like farts!"

"You'll get used to it. You'd be surprised, you start liking it."

"It's still bruce!" Howard exclaims once Randy is out of the suit. "You're the Ninja!"

Randy shakes his head in amusement before seeing Amy walking across the sidewalk, holding her bag. "Amy, hey Amy!"

"Hm?" She turns around as he runs up to her, tripping and falling in front of the brunette. He smiles up at her, slightly mortified that he just did that. "Hey Randy. Something up?"

"Up?" He stands up, laughing nervously. "No, no, I'm perfectly fine, just tripped because you're prett-never mind! Um...do-do you want me to walk you home?"

"What is he doing?" Howard murmurs as he stares at them. Randy never croaked like that in front of any girl.

"Oh, that'd be great, actually," Amy smiles softly and hearts appear from his eyes. Then he walks off with her, to Howard's shock.

"What the juice?!"

"So, where did you move from?" Randy asks the girl, hands behind his back. He wanted to know everything about her—what she likes, what she doesn't like, her interests.

"California. My parents moved here from work. LA, if you wanna be specific."

"No way! That is so bruce! So what was it like?"

She chuckles at his enthusiasm and as she's talking, she couldn't help but think of the Ninja and how well they worked together. While Howard is running after them, she will admit...

They did make a good team back there.

McFist is grumbling as he paces around, Viceroy and Sorcerer both watching him. "I can't believe there's a female ninja!"

"Yes...it's been a long time since I've seen one," Sorcerer muses, rubbing his chin. "There hasn't been a Kunoichi for almost 30 years."

"It doesn't matter," McFist clenches a fist. "Because I WILL DESTROY BOTH OF THEM!"
