(Metal Sonic P.O.V.)
Victory,
Victorious ,
He was Victorious.
He had done it at long last,Before him the mangled corpse that was once this worlds hero and former adversary lay at his feet mutilated beyond recognition and oh what a feeling it yeilded.
Years of hard work planning and scheming behind his former master's back had finally paid off in the long shot,For now he was victorious at long last.
He had finally once and for all proven to who the superior of the two was and just as he thought and had always known to be true in his heart it was him.
He was never lying when he said he was the original and that the second-rate excuse standing before him was nothing more than a cheap copy,Afterall he never asked to be made into a mechanical slave.
He never asked to be ripped from his home world and ripped apart only to built back together with mechanical parts leaving only his mind intact and forced to fight this new version of him who was loved be all as he was loathed.
He had tried to fight for his freedom but his body was a mechanical prison constantly forced to move and bend to the will of his "master." As he suffered in silence due to the mad doctor intentionally forgetting to leave out a voice box so that he could call out his pleas for somebody, anybody to help him prove to the world that he was the true Sonic.
His anger grew and grew at a world that bad abandoned him treated him like dirt and then kicked him when he was down he held no mercy for this world for it was not his own the home he knew and loved,This was hell.
Then he met her so innocent,so precious the way her smiled seemed to block out the outside world and brighten up his life it was like a light at the end of the tunnel something to fight for that maybe meant enduring this torture would lead to a paradise where no one could hurt him again.
And yet through all the pain and agony at long last he had came out as the victor,His Neo form bestowed upon him by the power of the emeralds proving to be more than a match for his adversaries.
And now he was here with his inferior copy laying at his feet his ragtag of allies scattered across the battlefeild lifeless all except for her,She sat there on her knees tears straining from her eyes as she hugged him begging for him to wake up but he knew these calls were ultimately for nothing.
He had ran his hand through the copy's chest and crushed his vital organ that was furiously pumping blood within the palm of his bare hand and watched as his eyes rolled to the back of his head and his rival left this world by his own hand.
He began to laugh at his victory thanks in part to his voicebox one of the many new features of his upgraded form at long last he could relish in his success that he had once and for all proven he was the real Sonic.
"MURDERER!"
He stopped short when he turned to look at her who had cut off his laugh with her shrill cry of pain and anguish and stared at him with a look of pure hatred and betrayal,She stared at him like they had.
He did not like that,Not one bit.
Her tears were now furiously pouring down her cheeks akin to that of a faucet,The stare she gave him was as if all of heaven and hell were behind her in this very moment like he had gone behind her back and broken some sacred secret bond bewteen them.
"I TRUSTED YOU,I TOLD THEM YOU WERE DIFFERENT!"
He was silent for he did not know what to say.
"THAT YOU TOLD ME YOU DIDN'T WANT TO HURT ANYONE!"
He began to look at the ground and his feet for some unknown reason he began to find them quite intresting and vastly preferable to the scene that was on display in front of him and vastly both unfolding and escalating very quickly.
This is not what he wanted not at all.
"I Lied."
She stared at him long and hard in the wake of his revelation and the truth hit her hard as she just stared at him speechless of his awnser.
Instead she just turned back to the deceased body of his copy and buried her head in his chest sobbing and all was still for a moment.
He swore he could hear her mutter the word "why?" Inbewteen her incoherent sob's and suddenly it all made sense to him.
He had taken her away from him...
As if he had needed another reason to hate him more.
But he knew he could fix her.
He just had to make her see things his way and purify her again and destroy all the nasty lies his pathetic copy had put in her head.
He approached her cautiously hoping to avoid a repeat of her previous actions as his metallic footsteps clanked along the wooden deck of the armada's flagship he put his metallic claw on her shoulder, his fingers wrapping around the soft petite flesh.
She jolted at the cold sensation and once again stared at him confused by his actions until she felt a small pinch and only then did she notice the following action as he pried her away from the corpse and dragged her along the deck's wooden hull towards the back of the vessel with her kicking and screaming all the way desperate for her freedom before he began punching in a code and allowing the door to slide open before throwing her inside.
His inner rage burned not for her she was merely a pawn in all this but for this world,When he had found some sort of solice in this personal waking nightmare it had taken that away from him but he would not stand for it.
He was merely content with ruling this world but after what it had done he would burn it to ashes,Right after he reclaimed what was rightfully his.
He stepped in after her and before she could flee he once again grasped her by the collar of her dress and dragged her further into the darkness she squinted trying to find any light source and when she did and suddenly wished she hadn't.
A lone single tube with dark mechanical gray ports on both sides stood infront of her whilst the middle was wrapped around with bright lime green tinted glass,She remembered the device from her nightmares and knew exactly her fate.
He grasped the clear door edge before sliding it open, throwing her inside and slamming the door shut with a click trapping her inside the chamber as she began banging on the glass screaming and hysterically crying for him to free her,Calling out his name as each time it strung further on his heartstrings,No he had to do this it was for her own good she would learn to embrace her destiny.
He cleared his mind and approached the screen sitting beside the chamber only before punching a series of commands in on the adjacent keyboard and firing the machine to life,It whirred with a hiss as the top portion of the chamber began to rotate and begin charging up as he stared into her eyes and he could only mouth how sorry he was that it had to come to this and look away as the bright green beam fired and engulfed her which proceeded to conceal her image from his optics.
But not her screams as the glass did next to nothing to tune out the sound of her torture another side affect of his former master who often took pleasure in hearing his victim's cries for help only furthering how low he thought of the man but this was different he was helping her.
Right?
Finally her screams fell silent and the hum of the machine followed suite as the door slid open and steam rushed out of the machine clouding his vision until through the smoke cleared as he gazed upon her silhouette and ultimately decided that now she was perfect.
Her squishy flesh was now cold steel and as her pink quills now held white stripes matching his own,Her outfit no longer casual outdoors wear now was an elegant sleek metallic gown brilliantly contrasting his current apparel as she looked just as he had hoped she would,As beautiful as his queen should.
Her bright green optics sprang to life and captured his non-existant breath as she looked around frightened and confused but blissfully naive ready to be told of how much she loved him and to spend eternity by his side ruling alongside him as was her birth right and how he could love no other more than her.
In time her confusion gave way to contentment at her new found life and she found herself staring at him dawning his golden crown as he smiled down at her with her gleeming emerald optics and he gave a sigh of relaxation.
And as he snuggled his queen into the crevice of his arm and neck and gazed from their throne aboard that very flagship now fitted to their liking at the burning rock that once was the hell that tortured him oh so very much he breathed a sigh of relief and took in the sight.
He had gotten vengeance upon those who had wronged him.
He had reunited with his reason for enduring it all,And most of all.
He was victorious.
