Nathalie hated the fact that she was bed-ridden. She hated how Gabriel treated her like glass. Like she was going to break at any moment. She could do nothing to convince him that she was fine…

"Nathalie you should be in bed. Resting" Gabriel said in a firm tone, glaring at his stubborn assistant

"Sir, I'm fine!" She exclaimed. Then, right on cue, Nathalie started coughing. In one swift movement, she was in her boss' arms being carried bridle style back up to her bedroom.

"You are not fine, Nathalie" he said glaring at her while tucking her in bed.

She looked down and started drawing designs on her blanket. Gabriel softened.

"Nathalie, I just don't want to lose you, okay? You're a very important member to this family"

She looked up, and when she did, his lips brushed her forehead. She felt herself blush, and Gabriel smiled in return.

"And don't you ever forget that" And with that, Gabriel Agreste left the room, leaving Nathalie alone with her thoughts.

"Master! I saw that!" The purple kwami said giving him a smug smile "You like Miss. Nathalie!"

"Nonsense, Nooroo, I just told and did what she wanted to hear, so she'll stay in bed"

Nooroo frowned.

"All of that was… fake? You lied to Miss. Nathalie?"

"Yes, Nooroo, I did" he said striating his tie

"That was so mean! I'm going to tell Miss. Nathalie what you did!"

Nooroo was about to leave the room when Gabriel spoke up.

"No. Nooroo, I command you to stay here. And to never Nathalie about this!"

Nooroo bowed his head.

"Yes, Master" He mumbled.

And that was the end of their discussion. Gabriel for one, didn't know if he was telling Nooroo the truth. Unlike Nathalie he had Mixed feelings.
