July 24 1998- 9:50pm

Traveling in a helicopter of their own Alpha team was surveying the mass forest of the Arklay Mountains for any sign of Bravo Team. Alpha Team was comprised of 6 members, Brad Vickers the pilot for Alpha Team was the one of the few members of S.T.A.R.S. With no former combat training outside of the Police Academy. A former smuggler he has experience flying planes and Helicopters alike. A Caucasian male who is always well spoken and polite, if not a little timid. A little heavyset, he has brown hair and blue eyes.

Dr. Albert Wesker, Captain of Alpha Team and head of S.T.A.R.S he answers only to Chief Irons himself. An accomplished virologist but since most info pertaining to him is Redacted little is known of his past. A man who has an unapproachable air about him, he speaks little other than to issue orders and tends to keep his personal life and professional life separate. A tall Caucasian man with blonde hair and blue eyes, though you would probably never be able to tell since he always where's Sunglasses even at night.

Chris Redfield an ex-soldier, he served in the U.S. Air Force. A steady man with good morals and a strong sense of justice. He's maintained his figure since his service time, with Brown hair and blue eyes.

Jill Valentine, daughter to a notorious thief her father didn't want her to follow in his footsteps. So he pressured her into joining law enforcement. A woman with a slender, muscular figure. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Barry Burton, he served along side Chris in the U.S. Air Force. Him and Chris are long time friends. A bit of a gun nut, though he always makes sure to give time to his wife and daughter. Tall and muscular with brown hair and brown eyes and sporting a well trimmed beard and mustache.

Joseph Frost the final member of Alpha Team. A former Marine, he can handle himself in a firefight. He rarely takes off his red bandanna. But under it he has red hair, and vivid blue eyes.

After scanning the forest for about an hour they found they light of a fire and a column of smoke in the darkened night sky. When they got closer they found a clearing caused by a crashed helicopter. Figuring it was Bravo's they landed to investigate. Only Kevin Dooley the pilots body was inside. His eyes were gouged out and his throat looked like it was torn out by some kind of animal. Perhaps a dog or a wolf. There was no other sign of the other members of Bravo team. So Alpha fanned out to investigate the area.

Jill

Jill was cautiously walking not far from Joseph with her trusty Samurai Edge 9mm handgun in hand, and flashlight in hand as she surveyed they area, when she heard growling and gunfire from an assault rifle coming from Joseph's direction. She turned gun at the ready, just in time two see what appeared to be three rottweilers tackle Joseph to the ground. Not hesitating she opened fir unloading a whole clip into them but they were unfazed, focusing on digging there bloody fangs into Joseph. Joseph screamed in agony for what seemed forever before gurgling, and then silence. Continuing to pull the trigger fruitlessly not seeming to realizing the clip was empty. The horror of what she just witnessed seeming to leave her mind blank. One of the dogs, looks at her before charging and leaping.

A loud BANG seems to unfreeze her as the dog was shot to the side. Wesker sporting his Lightning Hawk 50 caliber Magnum had just saved her life.

"Jill this way," he says. As he, and the other surviving members of Alpha run back to Brad and the Helicopter only to see it in the air, and Brad flying away.

"Brad..." Chris yells. "Where;s he going?"

They continue to run forward. The dogs barking and growling at theor heels. In the distance they see lights and so they make their way over there. As they get closer the see an old Mansion ahead.

"Into the Mansion," Wesker Ordered. They didn't have to be told twice. Fortunately the front door was unlocked.

Entering the mansion and quickly slamming the door behind them to keep dogs at bay. They then catch their breath and survey the mansion. They appeared to be in a large two story main hall with one door to the west, two doors to the east. Large stairs straight ahead that branch to the left and right at a large painting on the North wall before going to the second floor.

"What is this place?" Barry asks.

"Not quite your ordinary place." Wesker answers.

"Wesker Where is Chris?" Jill says as she noticed he was absent. Not thinking she ran to the front door annd was about to open it when Wesker stopped her.

"Jill no don't go out there." Wesker says.

BANG! They here a gunshot to the west of the building, all three look.

"Chris..." Wesker wonders aloud.

"I'll go investigate." Jill says impatiently already moving to the west door.

"Me too, Chris and I go way back." Barry also says hastily.

"Okay I will secure the main Hall." Wesker said.

And so Jill and Barry entered the west door. In the adjacent room was a large dining hall, with a large long table in the center of the room, a lit fireplace on the west wall. And a loud grandfather clock on north wall. And a typewriter on a small table on the south wall. The dining table was so big it could easily seat ten to twelve people though there was only eight seats.

"I think you better take a look at this," Barry said after he stopped on the west side of the room.

"What is it?" Jill said as she hurried over to see a large puddle of fresh blood.

"Blood! Jill see if you can find any other clues, I will be examining this. Hopefully its not Chris's." Barry replied.

"Okay," said Jill clearly weirded out and a little confused.

Noticing a door in the corner of the west wall she decided to check out there.

On the other side of the door was a hallway branching to the east and west, with door on the north wall to the east and an immediate right turn to the west. Jill decided to check around the corner to the west. When she came upon a bald man hunched over another person who was lying on the floor. The smell of something sour and rotten laid heavy in the air. The bald man was making chewing and sloshing sounds. Thinking this might be one of the individuals who was behind the cannibalistic murders she heard about. She leveled her gun at him.

"Freeze," she says as it stops and slowly turns its head towards her. Its skin was almost grey, its eyes were white as if blind. Mouth open, with bloody yellow teeth it rose from its twitching victim. Turning with outstretched arms it began to stumble slowly towards Jill. It was like something straight out of a Horror film.

"Stop or I will shoot," Jill said with some panic in her voice. When it continued to approach her she shot it in the leg. But it hardly seemed to flinch as it continued to walk towards her. Over come with fear she turned around and ran back to the dining room where Barry was.

"Barry," Jill said as shes rushes up to him.

"What is it?" Barry turns around in surprise just as the thing bursts through the door behind Jill.

Not knowing what else to call it Jill says "Look out its a monster."

"Let me handle it," Barry reacted fast and shot it with his custom Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver.

BANG! Right to the creatures chest it limply fall backwards to the floor and remains still.

"What is this thing?" Barry asks looking down at the creature that looks like a walking corpse.

"I don't know, but we should probably report this to Wesker," Jill says as she calms herself and catches her breath. Fear still lingering in her eyes, for they weren't trained to deal with stuff like this.

"Right," Barry replies seeming to distracted with his own thoughts to notice Jills fear.

Jill then starts to head back to the main hall with Barry close behind. But just as they were approaching the door to the main hall they heard a groin and the door on the far wall slam. Not wanting to linger they continued into the main hall.

"Wesker," Barry calls out not seeing Wesker in the Hall.

When they still didn't hear or see him after a few minutes Barry says, "Jill help me look for him, though lets not leave this hall."

"Alright," Jill quickly replies.

Jill then proceeded to the second floor as Barry looked on the first. On the second floor there was two doors on the west wall, and two doors on the east wall. With two walkways connecting them, on the north wall was of course the west and east branches of the main stairs connecting to one of the walkways. Not finding Wesker on the second floor of the main hall, Jill went back downstairs to Barry.

Who was just done checking a small alcove behind the main stairs with a east and west entrance.

"Barry," Jill calls out as she comes down the stairs.

"Any luck Jill," Barry asks.

"No, first Chris and now Wesker," Jill says with clear worrie in her voice.

"We should look for them. This mansion is huge, lets start on the first floor. I will take the west, you go east." Barry says.

"Alright," Jill replies.

"Oh I almost forgot here's a lock-pick you would make better use of it," Barry says as if its an afterthought.

"Thanks I may need it," Jill says with a hint of sarcasm.

"Listen If something happens we should meet up in this hall," Barry says as he begins to walk to the dining room door.

"Okay," Jill says.

Barry then proceeded into the dining hall again.

Before heading to one of the two western doors, Jill decides to satiate her curiosity as she goes to see whats in the alcove under the stairs. Behind them she finds two stairs going down, one on the east and one on the west. They join in the middle at a double door gate going south. She goes to open the gate to find it's stuck or locked. There is no keyholes, but there is two indentations one on each door, for small octagon shapes. On the other side seems to be more stairs heading down into a dimly lit tunnel with torches on the walls.

Suddenly shes hears raddling and moaning down the stairs and decides to progress to the western doors.

The northern door seems to be locked with an emblem of a helmet above the keyhole. And no matter how much she tries to lock pick it, it doesn't seem to want to open. So she decides to progress to the door on the right.
