Chapter 1: Fallin for him
It was a sunny day here in Petropolis, it was around 10-11 in the morning. As there was a gentle breeze blowing throughout the city, the birds were chirping all around. As it was another morning at the headquarters, Agent Katswell was clocking onto her shift, as she just sighed "Another day" as it kinda got boring around the office, but she did enjoy some of her co-workers. Like Dudley or Keswick or sometimes the chief, no matter what, she enjoyed her day at work honestly.She was walking to desk, as Dudley was always goofing off, whatever he was doing honestly, which honestly made her chuckle. She kinda enjoyed his sense of humor, as she just said "Morning dudley" as then He replied "Morning Kitty" as he waved, as something landed on his head, as she chuckled a bit "Ah, your funny you know that'' she stated as he chuckled a bit "Thanks I guess" as she said "No Problem" as then the chief came rolling over and said "Dudley, Katswell. I need you two to investigate the port. We got word that snaptrap might be operating out of the second warehouse there." Dudley nodded "On it, chief" as she nodded as well "We'll get on it" as then Chief rolled off to the laboratory to discuss something with their lab expert. She then looked at him "Well, I guess we got some work to do, Dudley '' she stated as they went off to their vehicle that they always did their reconnaissance or other jobs in. The same white convertible with black stripes. As Dudley got into the passenger side, as she got in as she grabbed the keys from under the ashtray.As she went and started the vehicle, Dudley then asked, "So, what do you even do after work?" he asked as then she just replied "Mostly be at home, ya know, simple stuff. What about you?" then he replied "Mostly watch TV or play Video games. Something to kill time ya know" as she nodded as they both went off to this warehouse. As they stopped a couple blocks away so they weren't spotted easily, as dudley just was doing his own thing. Well technically, he was on his phone on his social media mostly looking through trends. As then he popped up asking "So uh, what are you doing after work?" as she then looked at him "Are you asking me out?" as then he replied "Depends" he stated as she chuckled a bit "I'm not doing much after work" she stated to him as then he replied "You uh, want to go get dinner I guess" as then she said "Sure, Id like too" she replied as then he said "sweet, sweet" as he looks at the warehouse as the chief came in on the screen "Dudley, Katswell, any updates on Snaptrap" as then she stated "Uh not at this moment, it seems too quiet here honestly" as chief then replied "Hrmmm. Go take a quick lunch break. Then back to doing your steakout" as then the chief disconnected.
Dudley then said "Tacos?" he asked her as she replied "You're paying" as he chuckled as he held the chiefs credit card "Chiefs paying" as she chuckled as she drove to this one food truck. That she has been hearing about, as she got two tacos meanwhile dudley got a burrito, as they were having their lunch as they were dicussing stuff, mostly on due to them both being single. But neither of them knew this, as they discussed their favorite hobbies, as after a bit the chief came in again "Agents, we have updated news that snaptrap is robbing the city bank" as then Katswell then said "We'll on the response chief" as she immediently drove off to the bank, upon their arrival, they both got out as they walked into the bank. Upon entry, a trap was made as a net captured them as snaptrap came out and said "Sucess, I have finally captured you both. Agent Katswell and your side kick" as dudley growled a bit as snaptrap then said "Dont worry, I will enjoy stealing all of the banks money, and you sit up there and watch" he stated as snaptrap walked off.
Katswell then said "What do we do now" as Dudley was already chewing on the rope, as it was working as she forgot rope was one of those things dogs loved chewing on. After a couple minutes, the rope broke and they fell down, Dudley landing first, he ended up catching her in his arms as she just hugged him like she thought death was like... staring her in the face, even though it wasnt a high enough drop, but giving the circumstance that she fell last, might as well treat it like it. As she was panting in anxiety as he patted her head a bit to help her calm down before they went to deal with snaptrap. As snaptrap saw them as he was like "No No No, how did you two escape my trap... agh.. minions attack" as his only three minions went to attack and well, cue your typical 1960s batman fight epilogue.
Katswell was cleaning off her gloves, as the four were tied off, as dudley highfived her as Snaptrap said "curse you... katswell and dudley" he stated before passing out as they walked out as the local police came to deal with the suspects, as the two went to their vehicle. As dudley continued to walk "Think it about this, we should be able to clock off tonight" as she then said "That'll be nice" she stated as she was already tired from todays work. as she got into the vehicle. Then he got in as they drove back to base, as they arrived as they just took the elevator up to their floor, as they walked out as it was around clocking out time, thank god. As the two went and sit down at their cubicles until it was time, then she went and clocked out followed by him.
As they took the elevator down again, as they stop at the garage, as she then said "You got a ride home dudely?" as then he said "Not really, I honestly walk home" as then she said "Ill give you a ride" she stated as she walks to her vehicle. As she grabs her keys as she unlocks her car which is by the way a Tesla Model X. As she got in, as Dudley got in the passenger side as she starts her car up. "Yea had to bug chief to install a charging station for me.." as dudley chuckled "Yea" he stated as she went and drove him home as they pulled up as he got out "Well uh, Ill see you tomorrow I guess" he stated as he went and walks off as then she said "You forgot something" as he came back as he grabbed his phone "thanks" as then she went and kissed his cheek "Your welcome" as she smiled a bit as he went inside his home. As she drove home "What a weirdo, but.. " she looks at a picture of him and her together "Hes my weirdo"
As the sun slowly sets on the horizon. It has been once again another day for the people of Petropolis.
