Summary: The Rugrats gang has a imaginary detective adventure in Tommy and Dil's backyard.
It was a splendid sunny day in Yucaipa, California as the Rugrats, Angelica, Susie and Zoey were hanging out at Tommy and Dil's house.
"What fun are we gonna have today Tommy" asked Chuckie.
"Yeah, it's no mystery that we can all have a good time together and have a lot more fun now since Angelica has changed for the better" added Kimi.
"Mystery" went Tommy. "That's it, we can play Masked Defective" he said.
"Masked Defective, what's that" asked Dil and Savannah in unison.
Tommy then explained how He, Chuckie, Phil and Lil were inspired by listening to a radio broadcast that Lou tuned into, as well as making up the game and Angelica wanting the chocolate coated malt balls all to herself when she was still the bad one.
"I wonder why it doesn't surprise me" Zack thought to himself.
"The suspense always builds up when a defective is on the case" replied Zoey.
"Yeah and that the bad guys always get caught" added Susie.
"Specially when the bad guy has her partners tie an innocent kid up and tickle their feets, that's no fun" replied Chuckie.
"And just for fun, Me and Lillian partnered up with Angelica as Madam Evil when we played that one time" said Phil.
"Yeah and I played a trick on the Masked Defective by getting him to drink a warm bottle of milk and fell asleep likes a cute baby. That is until I later pulled a fast one on Madam Evil and helped the Masked Defective in the end and wanted him to runaway with me and eat all the chocolate together" added Lil.
"Hmmmm, if only I can get Lil to like me that easily" Jesse thought to himself.
"Being a defective sounds cool" said Dil.
"Yeah, I want to play this game and see the poopertraitor get timed out" added Savannah.
"If we do play that game, think maybe we can do it a bit differently this time" asked Chuckie.
"Perhaps it could be a case where the Defectives have to solve the case of the stoleded toys" suggested Angelica.
"Uh-huh, and we can pretend that our most favoritest toys were stoleded by the worstest thief on the block" said Kimi.
"This sounds promising" replied Zack.
"Only who is the poopertraitor gonna be" asked Jesse.
"Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper" said Phil and Lil in unison.
The others nodded in agreement.
"C'mon guys" said Tommy. "Let's get started" he said.
Tommy got his screwdriver out of his pocket and unlatched the playpen lock. Soon everyone headed out to the backyard. Once outside the backyard transformed into the office of the Masked Detective and his fellow Detectives as they were discussing a toy-kidnapping crime wave hitting their town.
"Fellow Defectives of the Junior Defective Agency" said Masked Detective Tommy. "There's been alot of kids, including ourselves that have had our favoritest toys stoleded likes my Reptar doll" he said.
"Yeah, and based on what other kids witnessed when these toy-kidlappings happened, we are gonna be going up against the meanest, nastiest, trouble making bully around that made a clean get-away with my Cynthia doll" said Detective Angelica.
"We knows and he gots my favoritest Wawa teddy bear and unfortunately, none of the witnesses gotted a picture of the poopertraitor" replied Detective Chuckie.
"But what we do know is that the poopertraitor is described as a big kid with blond hair and has a scar on his face" said Detective Zack. "Anyone that makes off with toys from innocent kids, likes me and my favoritest toy Super Why, won't gets away with it" he added.
"Uh-huh, and witnesses say that he is really tough and pushed little kids out of his way as he made off with their toys, just likes my favoritest toy Super-Thing" replied Detective Kimi.
"Yeah and the poopertraitor gots my favoritest Goober the Gopher toy" said Detective Dil.
"And my favoritest Dora the Explorer doll" added Detective Savannah.
"It's a fact that whoever is the poopertraitor that's doing the toy-kidlappings, has gotta be stopped" said Detective Susie.
"Yeah, justice must be served for all the innocent kids" added Detective Zoey.
"Oh yeah" replied Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
"The poopertraitor as well as the stoleded toys could be anywhere in town" said Detective Jesse. "Where do we begin" he asked.
"We are all gonna split up into teams to find clues to who the poopertraitor is" said Masked Detective Tommy. "Once we find out who the Poopertraitor is, we are all gonna meet back here and makes a plan to catch the poopertraitor" he added.
"Yeah" shouted the others in unison.
Detectives Tommy, Dil and Savannah were team # 1, Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey were team # 2, Detectives Jesse, Phil and Lil were team # 3, and Detectives Zack, Kimi and Chuckie were team # 4.
"C'mon guys" said Masked Detective Tommy. "We will search around the park for clues" he said.
"Okay" replied Detectives Dil and Savannah in unison.
Meanwhile, in the neighborhood, Detectives Chuckie, Kimi and Zack were getting their search underway.
"Alright Defectives, let's search the neighborhood for any possible clues" said Detective Zack.
"Sure thing" replied Detectives Chuckie and Kimi in unison.
Meanwhile, at the beach, Detectives Jesse, Phil and Lil were getting their search underway.
"Alright guys" said Detective Jesse. "Let's search the beach as many kids play here at the beach and that they're at times bullied here" he said.
"Okay" replied Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
Meanwhile, in the downtown area, Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey were getting their search underway.
"Alright girls" said Detective Angelica. "Let's search the heart of the town real good for clues and maybe get a sneak peek of the poopertraitor in action" she said.
"Were on it" replied Detectives Susie and Zoey in unison.
Meanwhile, in a deserted building downtown that once housed Mega Corp, Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper was on the rooftop gloating with glee.
"AH-HA-HA-HA" laughed Anthony the Kid-lapper. "Those cry baby kids will never know that lighting struck them on the head when I made off with their stinkin toys. Once I have stolen enough toys, I will sell them on the internet and be able to live off the fat of the land. AH-HA-HA-HA" he laughed.
Meanwhile, back at the park, Detectives Tommy, Dil and Savannah discovered a clue.
"I finded a clue you guys" said Masked Detective Tommy.
"What did you find" asked Detective Dil.
"A bunch of candy wrappers lying on the ground near the playground" replied Detective Tommy.
"I guess somebody's a messy eater" said Detective Savannah.
"Most kids know to throw their litter in the waste basket likes our mommies and daddies do at home or anywhere don't they Defective Tommy" asked Detective Dil.
"Right" replied Masked Detective Tommy.
"So our poopertraitor that we're looking for is a litter bug huh" asked Detective Savannah.
Detectives Tommy and Dil nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, back at the neighborhood, Detectives Zack, Chuckie and Kimi discovered a clue.
"Guys, I finded a clue" said Detective Kimi.
"What did you find" asked Detective Chuckie.
"Look at these marks on the street" replied Detective Kimi.
"Tire tracks" exclaimed Detective Zack.
"What does this mean" asked Detective Kimi.
"It means that whoever made these must have been in a big hurry to leave" replied Detective Zack.
"You means likes bad guys trying to makes a getaway in their runaway cars" asked Detective Chuckie.
"Exactly" replied Detective Zack.
Detectives Chuckie and Kimi nodded in agreement.
"I better take pictures of this" said Detective Zack as he pulled out the camera and took a few pictures.
Meanwhile, back at the beach, Detectives Jesse, Phil and Lil discovered a clue.
"Hey guys, I found a clue" said Detective Jesse.
"You did" replied Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
"I found big kid feet prints heading away from the beach" said Detective Jesse.
"Hmmm" pondered Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
"I have seen bullies run after little kids before" said Detective Phil.
"And whoever the poopertraitor is must have been here today" added Detective Lil.
Detectives Jesse and Phil nodded in agreement.
"I better take pictures of this" said Detective Jesse as he snapped and clicked photos of the big kid footprints in the sand.
Meanwhile, back in the downtown area, Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey were checking out the abandoned Mega Corp building for any possible clues when they saw the biggest clue to end all clues.
"Uh-oh, I see a speedy car coming towards my mommy's old office, let's hide in the bushes" said Detective Angelica.
"Okay" replied Detectives Susie and Zoey in unison.
Soon, the girls were watching quietly from he bushes when a figure with blond hair and a scar on his face stepped out of the car with bags of toys.
"He-he-he-he" laughed Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper. "Stealing these toys is like taking candy from cry babies" he said.
"Gasp" whispered Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey in unison.
"By tomorrow, I, Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper, will be making money off of these toys and there will be no one to stop me. And best of all, the stinking Junior Detective Agency doesn't even have a clue of my whereabouts, especially when a thief can hide in an empty building and those fools turning a blind eye at empty places like this one "AH-HA-HA-HA" laughed Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper.
Detective Zoey seized this moment as the Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper's eyes were closed as he laughed manically and snapped a few pictures of their culprit. After their culprit was done gloating, he headed inside the building and made his way to the roof.
"Well girls" said Detective Angelica. "It looks like we found our poopertraitor" she said.
"Yeah, he'll have another thing coming to him" replied Detective Susie.
"Wait until we show and tell the others what we discovered with these pictures" said Detective Zoey.
It was after sunset that all the Junior Detectives met back at the office of the Junior Detective Agency and put their clues together and concluded that it was indeed Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper who's been stealing toy's from younger kids.
"Well guys, we finded our poopertraitor" said Masked Detective Tommy.
"Let's get him" said Detectives Dil and Savannah in unison.
"Yeah" replied Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
"Uh-huh, we will show him he can't do this" said Detective Kimi.
"I agree" replied Detective Zack.
"Let's take back what is ours" added Detective Chuckie.
"It's time to take a stand" said Detective Zoey.
"Oh yeah" replied Detectives Angelica and Susie in unison.
"What's the plan now to catch our poopertraitor Masked Defective Tommy" asked Jesse.
Everyone huddled as Masked Detective Tommy explained the plan to his fellow Detectives.
"Yeah, let's do it" shouted the others in unison.
In no time, Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey hopped in the Golden Chrome Cynthia Mobile, while the Rugrats Detectives hopped into the Reptar Mobile and sped towards the deserted Mega Corp building and were there in no time.
"We're here" said Masked Detective Tommy.
Soon, the Junior Detectives stormed into the building and made their way to the rooftop where their culprit was taking inventory of his stolen load of toys.
"Not so fast, Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper" shouted the young Detectives in unison.
Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper turned around and saw the Junior Detectives standing behind him.
"WHAT" shouted Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper. "How did you catch on" he yelled.
"We put two and two together and we have our answer standing in front of us" replied Detective Zack.
"Well you're too late as I have all the stolen toys from every crybaby in this town and by tomorrow when I sell them on the internet, I will be the richest person in existence, AH-HA-HA-HA" laughed Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper.
Thinking quickly, the Junior Detectives put their plan into motion.
"Hey poopy head" said Detectives Dil, Phil and Lil in unison.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME" shouted Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper.
At that moment Detectives Phil, Lil and Dil pulled down their pants, panty and diaper and mooned and taunted their culprit.
"I'm going to kick your behinds for mocking a clever mastermind" shouted Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper.
The other Junior Detectives took advantage of their culprit's distraction as Masked Detective Tommy and Detectives Chuckie, Jesse and Zack squirted baby oil right in the path of their culprit as he slipped and slided.
"Ahhhh" screamed Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper as he slipped and slided around the rooftop.
"Then Detectives Savannah and Kimi got their jump rope ready and pulled it from each end as their culprit tripped over it and hit the wall and fall flat on the ground.
"Ow" groaned Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper.
Then Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey jumped and hog-tied their culprit tightly with their jump ropes.
"Grrrrrrrr" grunted Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper. "You fools let me outta this" he shouted.
"Nuh-uh" replied Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
"As much as we like toys, we can't steals from others as kids who break rules end up doing hard time-out" added Masked Detective Tommy.
"Yeah" replied the others in unison.
Soon, the town police apprehended Anthony the Toy-Kidlapper for his crime and hauled him off to jail and the Junior Detectives returned all the stolen toys to every kid in town as well as getting the return of their own toys.
"We did it guys, we saved the day" said Masked Detective Tommy.
"Teamwork pays off" replied Detectives Angelica, Susie and Zoey in unison.
"Oh yeah" added Detectives Phil and Lil in unison.
"We were cool" said Detectives Dil and Savannah in unison.
"Few, I'm glad we wrapped up this case safely" added Detective Chuckie.
"Uh-huh, and we all got our favoritest toys back" replied Detective Kimi.
"Wanna call this, case closed" asked Detective Zack.
"That's cool with me as we have delivered justice to all the kids" said Detective Jesse.
"Yay" cheered all the Junior Detectives in unison.
At that moment the scene changed back to Tommy and Dil's backyard.
"That was a great caper" said Zoey.
"I'm glad I wasn't all tied up and tickled this time" replied Chuckie.
"That was awesome being a defective" said Dil.
"Yeah, it was fun" replied Savannah.
"Oh yeah" said Angelica and Susie in unison.
"That was cool" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"No complaints here" said Zack.
"Uh-huh, we showed the poopertraitor who's bossy" added Kimi.
"It was an awesome defective adventure there" replied Jesse.
"I couldn't have done it with out all of you guys" said Tommy.
The others nodded in agreement just as Didi came out to the backyard.
"Kids snack time, there's chocolate cookies and milk for everyone" said Didi.
"Last one in as a crumbled cookie" said Angelica and Zoey in unison as they ran for the house.
Susie and the Rugrats ran for the house as well for snack time.
