Hey everyone! This is it, the first chapter of my new story which takes place after Avengers Crisis on Infinite Earths and during Injustice 2. It is also the sequel to WandaVision in Injustice. In this story, there will be other heroes from the MCU, and later heroes from the Arrowverse. For now, this is the MCU and little by little as the story progresses, I'll add other superheroes.

I had dreamed of doing this story for so long. I'm so glad to be able to start it.

I hope you will like this first chapter.

Good reading.

Chapter 1: The End of Krypton

Kara Zor-El was living a nightmare and wished she could wake up more than anything.

While she had planned her day, an unexpected and nightmarish event had happened in her world. First there was a meteor shower that destroyed the buildings in Argo City. As the debris fell, the locals were running in panic in all directions.

Kara had taken refuge behind the shattered statue of a tall Kryptonian figure and could just watch in horror as her city was attacked. She waited for the last person to pass and started to run in the opposite direction. Running to where they came from. More fireballs fell when one crashed right in front of her. She hid behind some rubble, looking over the corner.

Where the fireball had struck stood a sort of robot. Its eyes were shining as if they were searching for any form of life. The girl hid, not wanting to be spotted by this monstrosity. However, it managed to detect her quickly and prepared to apprehend her when the robot was shot down by a group of gunmen from the Kryptonian army who were desperately trying to annihilate the invaders.

More robots appeared and attacked the soldiers who weren't up to the robots and were easily eliminated. Kara tried to run, but stumbled when she saw something blocking the sun. Looking up, she sees a huge ship shaped like a skull floating with four robotic tentacles sticking out of it. The robots spotted the girl as she tried to run away from them.

Passing through a sewer pipe, she managed to get away from the metal monsters. She reached the other side near a large observatory. She ran to the facility, praying that her family would be okay. Just when she reached the balcony, she saw the ship invader hovering over his town. Suddenly a bright light engulfed the city and soon everything was gone.

Immediately after absorbing the entire city, the skull ship took off, leaving rubble ruins outside the city. Kara could just watch in shock at what had happened. Her city had just been absorbed before her eyes. How and why such a monstrosity?

She was so horrified and distraught by what she had just witnessed that she didn't notice the monstrous robots that had just found her and approached her. Kara whirled around, to see one of the robots stretch out its arm, ready to finish her off. The teenager just stayed there, closing her eyes. She saw no point in fleeing, as the invader was already too close to have a chance to escape, so she decided to accept her fate.

Just as the robot was about to kill Kara, someone attacked it. She turned her head and her eyes widened as she saw who it was.

"Mother! Father!"

Her two parents Alura and Zor-El were standing on the balcony, very much alive. They were fighting the invading robots with their weapons.

"Kara, come quickly!"her mother called out, still shooting the robots.

Without further ado, Kara ran back to her family. The robots attempted to eliminate them, but the two adult Kryptonians continued to attack their invaders by blowing them up. Once their daughter was safe inside their home, Alura and Zor-El closed the armored door, protecting them from robot attacks.

Although Kara was relieved to find both of her parents alive, she was still overwhelmed by the horror that had swept away Argo City. She hoped her family had a plan to remedy this chaos. After all, they were the best scientists on the planet. They had to have a solution to fix everything.

"Stay with us, Kara!" Alura told her as the robots slammed the door to demolish it.

"This door will not be able to hold them back indefinitely," Zor-El said in an agitated voice.

Then the Kryptonian family crossed the long hallway.

"Mother, Father… the ship… it just… Argo City's gone! Millions of people…" Kara stammered, still horrified by what she had just seen.

"This is just the beginning," Alura replied in a deep voice.

"The worst is yet to come." Zor-El added. "Brainiac's destabilized the planet's core. Krypton won't hold together much longer…"

A feeling of horror and dismay ran through Kara's entire body. She did everything to stay calm, then asked in despair:

"But all your research… isn't there something you can do? You are the best scientists in Krypton."

Zor-El looked at his daughter with a sad expression. He wanted so much to be able to comfort her, but the reality was different.

"I wish it were otherwise. But this situation is beyond us, your mother and me. However, we have a solution for you."

"That's why we're here," Alura said, opening the passage that led them to their lab.

Kara hadn't been here for a while. She was therefore stunned by what she saw in front of her.

"A spaceship? That's what you've been working on?"

Alura continued by typing in the coordinates to start the spaceship in the laboratory:

"Your uncle Jor-El discovered a planet that can sustain Kryptonians, far away from Brainiac. He's built a ship just like this one for your cousin, Kal."

Stunned, Kara watched the ship's window open, wondering about her young cousin Kal-El. She was grateful that her uncle was able to find a way to save his son. But sending a baby to another planet? It was dangerous!

"But Kal...he's just a baby!"she stammered in amazement.

She turned to her two parents who were looking at her with sadness. It was Alura who answered him:

"Which is why you need to protect him. Teach him our ways."

"Jor-El asked me to ask you to protect your cousin," Zor-El added, aware of placing a heavy responsibility on his daughter.

"Me teach him?"Kara exclaimed, stunned. "What about you?"

"Kara, our world is ending," her father told her with a look of sadness. "I'm sorry. We designed this ship for you. Not for us. Our fate is over."

Then the girl then realized what her father was trying to tell her. Her parents wouldn't come with her. They were sending their own daughter into space to save her from the destruction of Krypton. After watching her city be absorbed by a gigantic ship, the thought of losing her parents was appalling.

With tears in her eyes, she stammered:

"No. No. No, I won't leave both of you! Please, please don't make me!"

With emotion and solemnity, Alura came to take her daughter against her.

"Neither I nor your father can't come with you. But you'll never be alone. You belong to the House of El, Kara. A house of hope."

"Your ship's coordinates are interlocked with Kal-El's." Zor-El added, joining his daughter, grazing her on the shoulder. "You will follow him his destination."

"We'll be with you in your dreams" Alura told her, smiling sadly. "You will do extraordinary things. Never forget that. Never give up hope."

Kara hugged both of her parents, knowing that this was the last time she hugged them.

Suddenly, their last family moments were interrupted by loud knocks on the metal doors of the laboratory. The invading robots were trying to get in.

"Kara, you have to go now!" Zor-El said, alarmed as he pulled out his gun. (He addressed his wife.) "Get her on the ship."

Reluctantly, Kara let her mother put her in the ship. As the robots burst into the lab. Zor-El shot at them, giving his daughter one last look.

"We're so proud of you, Kara!"

"And we love you," Alura added, standing still staring at her daughter, resolved on her fate.

As Kara had taken her place in the ship, the window closed and the spacecraft began to vibrate. Kara took one last look at the people who had raised her as the robots came over them. Her father was the first to succumb, despite being shot at them. And she saw her mother watching her with a determined gaze as she got impaled by the robots.

"No no!"she yelled, banging on the glass.

She knew there was nothing she could do to change Krypton's fate, but emotion clouded her mind. Sorrow and horror tore her apart.

She watched helplessly as her parents were killed by the robots – and to Kara, it still felt like a nightmare. She desperately tried to see if she could wake up, but as the ship raced through the sky, she could no longer deny the reality of the situation. Her parents were dead and her planet would soon follow.

The pod had launched into space quickly – it had been designed to travel at surprisingly fast speeds. As Kara finally let herself sink into what had happened, she began to sob inconsolably. She had lost everything – her friends, her whole family, even her whole world.

Everything, except for her young cousin Kal-El. As she continued to sob in a continuous stream, her pod slipped past hers – and Kara glanced attentively at baby Kal-El. He looked very precious while he slept, ignoring the destruction his people had endured. Kal-El was all Kara had, and she would give him blood and sweat as she lifted him up. No matter what world she landed in, she would do anything in her power to protect her cousin and wreak hell on anyone who dared to harm him.

As she watched her cousin sleep peacefully aboard his ship, her planet exploded, causing a powerful shock wave, causing Kara's ship to rock in all directions. The young girl clung to the edges of the porthole.

"Hold on, Kara. Hold on…"

But debris struck her ship, causing it to deviate from its course. To her horror, she found that her ship was moving away from her cousin's. Her spacecraft was hovering around in space. Kara didn't know how to point her ship in the right direction as she saw Kal's ship pull away very far from her. She would never reach her destination with her cousin. Kara'll not be with him to take care of and raise him.

"Kal! No! No, please! KAL!"

Hail (Hail), what's the matter with your head, yeah
Hail (Hail), what's the matter with your mind and your sign
Hail (Hail), nothin 'the matter with your head
Baby find it, come on and find it
Hail, with it, baby, 'cause you're fine
And you're mine, and you look so divine

Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love

Across space, the Benatar, the famous Guardians of the Galaxy ship, traversed the starry vastness. At the controls, Peter Quill aka Star-Lord sang his favorite song Come and get your Love by Redbone. In the cockpit were the Asgardian God Thor, Raccoon Rocket, the Groot Tree, Mantis, Drax, and Nebula.

It had been several weeks since they left Earth, after the Crisis that wiped out the Multiverse. The Guardians of the Galaxy then discovered new planets. Lots of places in the Galaxy to visit. Until now, they hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary. Then Quill still hoped to see Gamorra alive again, despite the fact that the Crisis had altered the entire timeline.

Tired of hearing the captain sing, Rocket lost his temper:

"Quill, do you really have to sing that all the time?"

"It's my favorite song," Star-Lord replied, pausing to sing.

"Considering the number of times you sing it, I think we've finally figured it out," Thor mused annoyed.

"Did someone count?"Mantis asked.

"Who cares, I am the cap," Quill said firmly.

"We know!" all his teammates said in unison.

"How did Gamorra put up with you?" Nebula growled in her corner.

"You got something to say?" Quill asked.

"Nothing, Quill!"

"It's been several weeks since the Crisis ended, and as of yet, we haven't seen any changes to our new universe yet," Thor said. "We might find hostile worlds or worlds that need us."

"That's why we're here," Quill replied. "We are the Guardians of the Galaxy. It's our job to save the people."

"But they could pay us anyway," Rocket said.

"We don't do it for that!"said the Captain of the Guardians, giving the raccoon a disapproving look.

"Quill, you know there's little chance we can find a Gamorra anywhere in this new universe," Rocket said calmly.

"She exists, I'm sure," Quill replied in a determined voice. "She's out there somewhere and we'll find her."

"We could also find a Gamorra who would never have been Thanos' daughter," Thor pointed out. "After all, the timeline has changed since the Crisis."

"So what happened before the Crisis would have been gone?" Rocket stammered in shock.

"It's possible," admitted the Asgardian.

"And I still believe that there is still a Gamorra out there somewhere in this new universe that is alive," Quill insisted still firmly.

Although he enjoyed traveling in space with his friends, he missed Gamorra. He knew Thanos had murdered her on Vormir to obtain the Soul Stone and that he had encountered another Gamorra from an alternate reality. He hoped that the rebirth of the universe could have brought back a new Gamorra.

"Even if you find her, she won't recognize you," Thor pointed out calmly and solemnly. "It won't be the Gamorra you knew before Thanos…"

"I don't care, I want to try," Quill said grumpily.

Preferring not to insist, Thor eventually returned to his seat without saying a word. Nebula was the only one in the group who was bored to the core.

"Where will this trip take us?"she mumbled.

"Hey, Thanos' daughter, if you're not happy you can leave my ship," Quill grumbled again, giving Nebula a hostile look.

"Quill! I want to find Gamorra like you! She was my sister, remember? But Thor's gotta good point. Finding a living Gamorra after the Crisis we just went through with the Anti-Monitor is pretty complicated."

"It's Supergirl who keeps saying that we must keep hope! So I keep hope."

It was then that Mantis broke off their discussions.

"Uh… guys? Something's coming right at us!"

"What's that?"Drax asked, intrigued.

Outside the ship, a gigantic fireball burst out of nowhere into the stars, and the ship was heading straight for it.

"Damn! A cosmic storm!"Quill exclaimed, maneuvering the controls of his ship. "Hold on, it might get a little bumpy!"

Each occupant of the ship regained their seats, immediately, the storm of stars passed through the ship, shaking everyone.

"Quill! Get us out of this hellish cloud!" Rocket yelled, clinging to his seat.

"I try!"Star-Lord roared as he swiveled his ship to the right.

Everyone was shaking all over the place. Quill was struggling to balance his ship. Groot began to howl in fright.

"Don't worry," Groot said the raccoon wanting to be reassuring. "We have known others like that!"

"That's still strong!"Thor roared, clinging to his seat, as the whole ship shook in all directions.

"Come on! Come on! Turn! Turn!" Quill exclaimed, wincing as he tried to deflect the storm ship.

Finally, the ship stopped shaking. The cosmic storm was gone. Everything had become calm again.

There was a long silence. No one dared to move or speak for a while.

Then Rocket began to mumble in a casual tone:

"See, guys? It wasn't that bad! We did all right!"

"It was very potent, that storm," Thor pointed out, recovering from his emotions.

"I had never seen one like this," Nebula replied.

"I am Groot," the tree muttered in a small, fearful voice.

"Now don't get jittery, Groot," Rocket replied. "You see we're not dead! We're fine!"

Quill checked his dashboard.

"Everything seems to be working normally. The ship does not appear to have been hit. But the on-board computer keeps messing around. I have the feeling that we have drifted very far in space."

"We need to know where we are," Thor said, looking out the window.

"On it, Thor," Star-Lord muttered.

Suddenly, Mantis announced in an alarming tone.

"Guys, something's going right on us!"

"What's that? Another cosmic storm?" Quill exclaimed in panic, fearing that his ship wouldn't survive the passage of another storm.

"No, it's much smaller, but it's very fast, and it's heading straight for us," replied the female alien to the antennae.

"What the…?" Drax wondered.

It was then that a small ship appeared out of nowhere and headed straight for the Benatar. Quill barely had time to turn his ship around, avoiding being struck by the strange spacecraft which continued on its way through space.

"Whoa!"Drax exclaimed as he saw the unknown ship pull away.

"Is he crazy or what?" Rocket exclaimed angrily. "He almost killed us!"

Thor then noticed that the ship appeared to be shaking in space. There was a strange feeling.

"Guys, this ship looks damaged. Maybe we should help him?"

"Hey what's wrong with you?" the raccoon lashed out in fury and disbelief. "This guy almost hit us in space and you want us to help him?"

"We don't know who he's," Thor pointed out. "Maybe it was accidental. But at first glance, this ship seems to be disoriented."

"Let me guess," said Quill in turn with a mirthless smile. "Do you want me to follow him?"

"Do it, Star-Lord."

"What? No, you can't be serious?"Rocket exclaimed incredulously with wide eyes in amazement. "We're not going to help someone who almost killed us…"

But Quill had already set course to follow the little ship. As they followed him, the occupants of the Benatar noticed that the pod had slowed down. Which intrigued Rocket.

"You're right, Thor. This ship looks damaged. Just now it was going full speed ahead and now it's slowing down like that? Something's wrong!"

The God of Thunder eyed the ship curiously and looked dumbfounded as he looked at it closely. He had noticed the strange symbols appearing on the ship.

"Kryptonian!"

"What?" Mantis wondered.

"This ship," Thor exclaimed, dumbfounded. "I recognize the symbols on it. It's Kryptonian."

"So this ship is coming from Krypton?" Rocket exclaimed in surprise.

"Krypton exploded a very long time," Quill objected. "There's no way this guy is Kryptonian."

"Kara showed me her ship," Thor replied intrigued. "This ship is almost the same as hers. I don't know how to explain it, but the occupant of this pod is from Krypton."

"Great, can we continue on our way?" Rocket asked with little interest in the ship.

"No way!" the Asgardian objected again. "If there are still Kryptonians in the Galaxy, Kara needs to know! Let's follow this ship to find out where it is going. Krypton is gone. And Argo City is a long way from here."

"There aren't any planets or bases around here." Quill pointed out curiously. "Where did it come from?"

"We'll find out," Thor said emphatically.

"Oh come on, another Kryptonian!" cried Rocket in exasperation. "Two are more than enough. The Supers!"

"I am Groot," the young tree said angrily.

"I don't care if he needs help!" said the raccoon grumpily.

"Quiet! Maybe that Kryptonian needs our help," Thor snapped. "And like Star-Lord said, we're Guardians of the Galaxy. It's our job to help people."

Quill seemed content to hear the Asgardian quote him. Eventually, he would eventually become friends with him. The Kryptonian ship continued its journey through space, with the Benatar following behind. Finally, a blue planet appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy's field of vision. Everyone looked dumbfounded as they recognized the planet as Earth.

"Are you kidding me?" Quill exclaimed, amazed.

"Terra?" Drax wondered.

"It can't be!" Rocket said stunned. "Technically, we're supposed to be very far from Earth. It's been several weeks since we left."

"Apparently we've made it to Earth," Thor concluded, who was as surprised as everyone else. "And our Kryptonian ship goes straight for it."

They saw the small pod enter Earth's atmosphere and then disappear.

"So we really went back to Terra?" Mantis asked, stunned.

Quill looked at the dashboard and frowned.

"Guys, there's something wrong."

"What?" asked Rocket.

"At first glance, this planet is Earth, but… the on-board computer indicates: unknown planet. It's as if this planet shouldn't exist!"

At these statements, the amazement of the occupants of the ship grew even more. Frowning, Thor observed the planet he had in front of him. He recognized there the same continents of the Earth. Everything was identical to Earth as he knew it.

Everything seemed to indicate that it was Earth. The planet of the new heroes after the Crisis. Still, something was wrong. First this Kryptonian ship that seems to come from nowhere and now this Earth unknown to the Guardians of the Galaxy ship. And it had all started since they had been through that cosmic storm.

Then Thor had a revelation.

"What if it was another Earth? A version of Earth? What if this cosmic storm would have created a wormhole transporting us to another dimension?"

The Guardians of the Galaxy eyed him surprisingly.

"Thor, that's impossible!" Rocket objected, shaking his head. "There are no more Multiverses since the Anti-Monitor wiped it out during the Crisis."

"Rabbit, that's the only logical explanation," asserted the Asgardian.

"If we're in another dimension, that would explain why the on-board computer doesn't recognize Terra," Nebula added. "We are perhaps in a dimension where we don't exist."

"So that would mean… that there is still a Multiverse?" Quill assumed in awe.

Thor suddenly looked happy.

"So Oliver didn't just help the Paragons recreate a universe. We recreated a Multiverse! New Earths! Could we have recreated other different Earths?"

After a moment of amazement, Rocket recovered.

"Okay guys. It's wonderful. I know I've seen some crazy things in recent years, but the birth of a new Multiverse? With countless parallel Earths?"

"It's really crazy!" Quill exclaimed. (Then he looked jovial.) "Hey, if the Multiverse still exists, that means I'm right to hope that we can find a Gamorra still alive!"

The God of Thunder seemed to the angels, completely lost in his thoughts. While stuck at the Vanishing Point, Thor had blamed himself for failing to stop the Anti-Monitor and failing to save the entire Multiverse. And there, he discovered that there could be new Earths? How many Earths for this new Multiverse?

"Maybe we should warn your friends on the other Terra?" Mantis suggested. "Your superheroes Paragons. They must know what we found out."

Snapping out of his amazement, Thor responded with a jovial tone.

"We'll do it. But not right now. Before, I want to know who is this mysterious Kryptonian who landed on this Earth. I have a hunch that he has been wandering in space for a very long time. We have to go help him."

"Alright, I'll set sail for this Earth," Quill said, resuming control of the ship.

"No Quill, don't do that!" suddenly objected the God of Thunder.

"Why?" Rocket wondered.

"This Earth is unknown to us," Thor explained. "We don't know if Earthlings tolerate the presence of alien ships. We don't know anything about their policy regarding visitors from other worlds. We have to reach this Earth without drawing attention to ourselves, and this ship is too conspicuous."

Quill nodded, annoyed.

"Right, what do you suggest?"

"We take the Milano and we go to the coordinates of the Kryptonian ship, hoping that its landing went well."

"The Milano doesn't have enough seats for all of us, Thor," Rocket reminded him.

"Then I'll take it and come to this Earth," Thor replied, walking towards the corner of the Milano.

"Do you really want to go to this new Earth?" Rocket wondered. "You don't even know what's there!"

"I want to know the identity of this Kryptonian," Thor said. "He may be lost. What if in this dimension, Krypton may never have exploded? And if that's the case, Kara and Kal must know."

"I am Groot," said the tree, leaving its seat.

"Are you serious, Groot?" the raccoon was angry. "Do you want to accompany Thor to a new Earth?"

"I am Groot," Groot muttered uncompromisingly.

"Okay," agreed Rocket annoyed. "If Groot goes with Thor, then I come too. I have to be here to stop you from doing anything stupid. Like buying an erotic book from a idiot like Mick Rory."

"I am Groot…"

"No! Don't say that name," roared the raccoon angrily. "And he's not a hero. He's a completely stupid criminal."

"I am Groot…"

"No, I am a hero who helped the Avengers undo what Thanos did, and who accompanied the Paragons to Vanishing Point, Maltus and the Dawn of Time. I'm much better than that moron Rory, and don't say otherwise."

"I am Groot," Groot said with a look that showed his disagreement.

"Rabbit! Tree! What if you put off your bickering later?" Thor suggested firmly. "If you want to follow me, stop behaving like kids!"

"We're not kids!" Rocket replied glaring at the Asgardian.

But Thor gave him a cold look that silenced the raccoon. Then Quill turned to the three companions.

"And what do we do? Shall we stay there waiting for you?"

"Just stick around to see if there is something different about this Earth," suggested the Asgardian with smile. "Star-Lord, do you still have the coordinates of the Kryptonian ship?"

Quill took out his tablet.

"Yup, I got them".

But as he looked at his tablet, he began to type on it, annoyed.

"Hey what's wrong with that?"

"What now?" asked Rocket who was starting to get bored with new discoveries.

Quill shook his tablet, then frowned.

"Something seems to be jamming my tablet's signal. I lost the coordinates of the ship. It's as if something wanted to prevent us from finding this Kryptonian. I can't understand how this is possible. I don't know of any technology that can do this."

"Magic," Thor said. "Someone is using magic to camouflage the presence of the Kryptonian ship. And that person doesn't want us to find him."

"Who on Earth would want to hide a Kryptonian from everyone?" Drax wondered.

"The true question would be why hide the presence of a Kryptonian from the Earth world. This is getting more and more weird."

"Great, how are we going to find this Kryptonian without concrete coordinates?" Rocket wondered.

Thor wields his two weapons, Mjolnir and Stormbreaker.

"My hammer has imbibed Kara's Kryptonian DNA. So I can use it to track down our mysterious Kryptonian."

"I am Groot," said the tree, taking a seat in the Milano.

Then it was Thor and Rocket who joined him inside.

"Let's go!" said the raccoon, turning on the Milano.

"Bye guys! See you later," Thor said, as the Milano left the Benatar and headed for Earth.

Rocket was following Thor, who trusted Mjolnir on the location of the Kryptonian ship.

After passing through the atmosphere, the Milano made its descent towards a city, like neither Thor, nor Groot, nor Rocket had seen on their Earth to them. Little-known dwellings, and large statues that must have been divinities. There was even the statue of a black silhouette that looked like a canine. Thor didn't know any of these divine statues.

"Strange place to land a Kryptonian ship," Rocket commented as he made his way towards town. "I am reporting no technology. We may be on an Earth where there is no advanced technology that Earth should have."

What mattered to Thor was the mysterious Kryptonian lost in space. Finally, Thor and his two friends finally saw the ship posed on a site surrounded by divine statues.

"We find it!" Thor declared.

Rocket put the Milano down next to the Kryptonian capsule.

Then he, Thor, and Groot walked over to the Kryptonian ship.

"This ship is almost the same to that of Kara," confirmed the Asgardian. "So it's definitely from Krypton."

"Fine, let's take a look," Rocket said, walking towards the ship.

Being a talented mechanic, the raccoon opened a hatch on the ship and inspected what he saw.

"From what I can see, this ship is in pretty bad shape. I don't know how long he was in space, but it must have been a long time. Years, even more. It stayed there for a very, very, very long time. The fuel is completely used up."

Thor was stunned. Had that lost Kryptonian roamed space for years? How could he have survived?

Thor inspected the window and could see the form of a young blonde girl.

"It's a girl! A teenager! Rabbit, would you know how to open the window?"

"I'll try," Rocket replied, tinkering with the ship's hatch. "Oh wait… this is it!"

There were a few sparks that flared out of the Kryptonian ship and the porthole rose. Finally, Thor and the two Guardians of the Galaxy could finally see the occupant.

Thor was amazed at the sight of the young girl in front of him.

"Kara?!"

The young Kryptonian teenager, who was sleeping peacefully, was strangely familiar to him. It was Kara Zor-El, a few years younger. Thor was sure that in a few years she will have the same face as his Kara. It was amazing! He had just met a version of Supergirl in another dimension. On an Earth where apparently she was not yet a superhero. This girl was Kara in younger. She looked too much like her.

Even Rocket and Groot had noticed the resemblance to the Supergirl they knew and were shocked.

"Thor, it can't be," the raccoon muttered, stunned. "The Kara we know is older than her."

"Look at her," Thor insisted in amazement and glee. "She has almost the same face as her. She looks a lot like her."

"She does look a little like her. But it's impossible!"

"We're in another dimension," Thor reminded him, not taking his eyes off young Kara. "It's possible that we meet another version of Kara Zor-El who isn't yet Supergirl."

"I am Groot," Groot whispered, shocked.

Rocket inspected the interior around the sleeping Kryptonian and finally found the dashboard, and he was amazed.

"Thor, I was right. This ship was up there for a long time. According to the dashboard, he roamed space for over thirty years."

"For over thirty?" Thor wondered, stunned. "Kara told me that when she left Krypton, she had to follow her cousin Kal's pod. But the shock wave produced by the explosion of her planet caused her to drift off course. Kal reached Earth without Kara. She had been there for a very long time in a parallel dimension before arriving at Earth. The same may have happened with her."

"Do you think there is a Superman on this Earth?"

"It's possible," approved the God of Thunder.

It was then that young Kara began to move around the interior of the cockpit of her ship. Thor realized with apprehension that he didn't know what to say, let alone do, when the girl woke up.

The young Kryptonian opened her eyes, began to rub them, being dazzled by so many lights. It was obvious that she had been asleep for a very long time. Then her gaze fell on Thor, Rocket and Groot, who didn't know what to say or do.

Young Kara stared at them and began to speak in her language. Thor, not understanding the Kryptonian language, gave her a confused look. He raised his arms in reassurance.

"Hey, relax! Steady! Calm down, Kara!"

Hearing the man in front of her say her name, the young Kryptonian looked distraught and looked around.

"Hello young one!" Rocket said, wanting to be jovial.

But Kara stared at the raccoon in amazement. She had never met someone like it.

"Back off, Rabbit, you're scaring her," Thor said, annoyed that he couldn't reassure the girl.

Kara continued to chat in her language with a look of confusion and anguish, then Groot quietly put his hand on the girl's shoulder, speaking softly to her with a big smile.

"I am Groot."

Suddenly, Kara stopped screaming and looked at the tree in confusion. Then she seemed curious and began to whisper:

"I am Groot?"

Then Groot nodded with a smile on his face.

"I am Groot."

Then he pointed to Thor and Rocket who were amazed at the way the tree managed to calm the Kryptonian teenager.

"Did you see that? Rocket wondered. "She understands what Groot's saying."

"I am Groot," continued the tree to the new arrival, still smiling.

"I am Groot," Kara replied, smiling, having become very calm.

And like a gentleman, Groot pulled Kara out of her ship, taking her hand. And the young Kryptonian turned to the Asgardian and the raccoon, realizing that they weren't a threat to her.

Thor slowly approached her with a friendly look.

"Kara… I know you don't understand yet, but just know that I'm not your enemy. I'm a friend. I am Thor. (He put his hand on his chest, letting her know he was spelling his name.) Thor."

With a smile, Kara replied:

"Kara Zor-El. Thor."

Then the raccoon intervened.

"Rocket. I AM Rocket.

"I am Groot," said the tree, smiling.

Kara turned to the talking animal with a smile.

"Rocket."

It was then that the raccoon's attention shifted elsewhere.

"Thor, we have company."

The God of Thunder spun around and saw the dark figure. A man who wore mostly black, even with a black cape, but also had yellow decorated on him – yellow patches on his arms, a yellow belt, and a huge yellow lightning bolt that took up most of his chest. His ears were slightly pointed and he looked like an older man – one in his fifties. And a strange woman with brown hair accompanied him. The woman was just dressed in a strapless red bustier supported by a gold brace resembling an eagle with a star. She also had a gold belt with a star on it and blue briefs with white stars on the side with blue pants and red boots with white stripes on the front. She also wore her silver bracelets on her wrists, a golden tiara with a red star on her forehead, a golden lasso that hung from her belt, as well as a sword and shield. Thor concludes that this woman must have been a warrior. Not Asgardian, but a seasoned and formidable warrior.

The couple frowned at the visitors.

"What are you doing in Kahndaq?" asked the man in the black tunic.

With a suspicious step, Rocket approached the newcomers.

"Hi guys, we're coming in peace! I'm Rocket, and my buddy Groot." (He gestured to the sapling that remained near Kara.)

Thor walked towards them calmly and suspiciously.

"We're just passing through this world. I am Thor, Son of Odin and God of Thunder. And you both, who are you?"

The man and woman stared at each other, stunned at the sight of visitors and hearing that Thor was a God. Then the man stared at Thor with a serene look.

"My name is Teth-Adam. I rule this kingdom. Kahndaq."

And the dark-haired woman stared at Thor with a suspicious look.

"I'm Diana. Princess of the Amazons. I am from Themyscira. What are you doing here? Why are you in this world?"

INJUSTICE HEROES AMONG US

Wanda… Wanda… Feel the power within you… Become what you should be… Scarlet Witch…

In the middle of the night, Wanda Maximoff woke up with a start, her face drenched in sweat. She gasped in shock, and stared at Vision who was still sleeping beside her in the bed. She made sure to get out of bed without waking him up, grabbed a dressing gown and left the bed.

She reached the window where she could see the quiet city of Gotham City. Since moving to this city, Wanda and Vision had built their home here. The world was slowly recovering from the terrible torments of the Regime. Superman was still locked up. Everything was fine. Until Batman learned that Diana, the former Wonder Woman and member of the Tyrant of Steel's Regime, had mysteriously escaped from Themyscira. A former member of the Regime was a threat to the security of the Earth. Vision had tried to locate her, but Diana seemed to have managed to find a way to hide from the eyes of the others.

Ever since learning of the fallen Amazon's escape, Wanda had had a strange dream. The same dream. She saw herself dressed in red with horns on her head. She felt powerful. A great thirst for power. As if something wanted to wake up in her. What the hell was that?

"Wanda?"

The young Avenger turned and saw Vision, wearing pajamas, join her by the window.

"Is everything okay?"

Wanda sighed and let herself be comforted by her lover.

"I didn't want to wake you up," she whispered to him.

"Do you want us to talk?" Vision still suggested in a calm voice.

"They're just dreams. Nothing serious."

"Wanda," the vibranium android insisted. "This is the fifth time this month that you've woken up in the middle of the night. I feel something is bothering you. I know you are sleeping poorly at the moment. I have read that the causes of insomnia can be due to great anxieties or stress. What's wrong?"

Wanda shook her head in anguish.

"I don't know, Vis. Honestly, I don't know. Since Wonder Woman's out there somewhere, I have a feeling that something is brewing. I… I can't explain it. And I keep having this dream. This dream where I see myself becoming something else. Something powerful. It attracts me, but I don't know what it is."

"You should tell Bruce about it," Vision said, still calm and stroking the young woman's shoulders.

"No," objected Wanda, shaking her head. "He has a lot to do at the moment, I don't want to add another problem to him. I know it's only a dream, but, Vis… (She looked at her lover in terror.) I keep feeling something terrible's about to happen. Something terrible. And I don't know what to do."

Vision came to hug Wanda, cuddling her.

"It's okay, Wanda. We are a team. Whatever the future holds, we will face it together. We are both strong together."

"I hope you are right!" said the young woman without ceasing to be anxious. "I hope so."

And that's it for this first chapter. I hope you liked it. As you must have understood, Thor is going to have an important role in this story. What's funny is that in my early Arrowverse / MCU stories Thor meets Supergirl at a time when his world is going missing, and in this story the reverse is happening. Thor is going to be very close to this new Kara, who to him looks like the Arrowverse's Supergirl but younger.
